Otherwise, how could they have come up with the concept of "Murphy's Law"?Clyde Herrinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13712707718451793171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5677268555273537920.post-51068026589632742162021-06-16T08:56:56.739-07:002021-06-16T08:56:56.739-07:00Thank you. The Moral Law was given us by God and is God's definition of normality. St. Paul was right about our sinful world---St. John goes even further in explaining it terms of Light vs. Darkness. Even later on, Aquinas pointed out that even moral men often are faced with choices about 'the lesser of two evils.' While none of us can 'save the world' spreading Christ's Gospel can bring Light into our part of the world and make an actual difference. I can see why insanitybytes22 and Pastor Wilson picked up the topic.

I don't think I really have anything to tell you about this you don't know, but I may be able to add some clarity. Normal is for the most part a statical term. What you are calling normal, is when men are willing to obey what CS Lewis called the moral law, the law God wrote upon each of our hearts. That is not normal.

Why won't men do what they know innately to be right? The Apostle Paul dealt with this issue in Romans. Ultimately, all we can do is something Jesus has commanded, spread His Gospel.Citizen Tomhttp://citizentom.com/noreply@blogger.com
