FBI INVESTIGATING BERKELEY RIOTS

The Corporate Media has spent the last week---with lots of help from the Democrats running the State of California---to sweep the questions around the UC Berkeley Riots under the rug. But the story isn't going away quite so easily: the FBI announced that they are now conducting an investigation into the riots. UC-Berkeley issued a guarded statement to the effect that Ian Miller---a Berkeley official who's been accused of participating in the riots---is among those being interviewed.

UC Berkeley President Nicholas Dirks has been claiming all along that the rioters were not connected to the university: how he knows this without knowing their identities, he hasn't explained. Nonetheless, on February 3rd, Dirks wrote in The New York Times that he had brought in "dozens" of campus police for security and excuses himself on the grounds that "one cannot prepare for the unexpected."

True: but that's not the issue here. The question is to what Dirks was expecting to happen. In the same article, Dirks admits that the rioters came well-prepared and organized. And witnesses have reliably stated that the Anarchists all arrived at about the same time. That is, the Anarchists seemed to have had some idea that the security situation was lax. They also seemed to know their way around campus; for example, marching directly to the building where Milo was speaking and coming prepared to break windows, etc.

Dirks' story seems a little more shallow when we read that UC Berkeley actually has an Antifa Organization. In fact, they were in the news last January for a Facebook page published on January 12th. From Breitbart News of January 13:

"One UC Berkeley group, named Berkeley Antifa, created a Facebook Event dedicated to disrupting and cancelling Milo's event. The initiative titled 'No Fascists on Campus: Shut Down Milo at UC Berkeley' ... 'Given the recent increase in fascist activity both on and around the UC Berkeley campus, we feel that the University's willingness to provide a platform to Milo Yiannapolous and his views, and we intend to shut this event down,' the group explains in the event description. 'We are inviting all allies and the Berkeley community to join us in making UC Berkeley a fascist-free zone.'"

So, nearly two and a half weeks before the riot, UC-Berkeley students were already publically advertising their intentions to shut down Yiannapolous' speech! How can Dirks deny with a straight face that Berkeley students were involved?

And it isn't as though so-called academic professionals wouldn't be involved in fomenting the same mob-mentality. By her own admission UC-Berkeley History professor Elena Schneider was involved in the protests. And Yvette Felarca, a Berkeley Middle-School teacher and leader of the By Any Means Necessary thugs, was not only active in the protests, but praised the actions of the rioters.

Hopefully, with the new administration, we'll see the Berkeley Swamp get a badly-needed draining. It looks like the FBI is going to have a lot of work to do.
