In what was a surprising turn of events for many of us, the Globalist Elite yesterday chose to replace one octogenarian figurehead with another as nominal American Head-of-State. Donald Trump will be allowed to live in the White House again and act as official spokesperson, while President JD Vance and Vice-President Elon Musk conduct the country's business on behalf of their Corporate Masters in Davos.
In the intervening time between now and January, the billionaires who funded the transition will be meeting to discuss how they'll be paid off; while those who backed the losing team will be cutting deals with the winners. It's quite telling that the first world leaders to applaud the Controlled Opposition's victory were WEF-installed strongmen Zelensky, Netanyahu, and Macron.
What the coming four years will bring was spelled out during the campaign. Massive expansions of the Police/Surveillance State, massive outsourcing of governmental responsibilities to unelected Corporate Oligarchs (with corresponding wealth-transfers to the Top 10%), massive top-down based and Red-Pilled social engineering schemes disguised as combatting Political Correctness, expansions of hegemonic proxy wars exporting American Exceptionalism, in short; the installation of a Scientistic Technocratic Elite.
Sadly, this is all a reflection of where we are as a culture. Americans gave up on the ideals of our Founding Fathers decades ago. To the New Left, the Founders were fools and, in reality, very bad men who stood for power and privilege. The New Right has accepted the same negative stereotypes, but hold them up as virtues to be imitated. Both philosophies find a willing audience in a population dedicated to hedonism, opportunism, and submission to authority. The Globalist Elites recognized (and in fact encouraged) these defects in our national character and have exploited them skillfully to their own benefit. That's all of the analysis of the 2024 Election summed up in one sentence.
The problem is, and has been for some time, not that our 'system' or our 'government' is going in the wrong direction: it's been our culture that is an advanced state of decline. That is why the New Right discreetly pushes Cultural and Social issues out of the realm of discussion and affects a phony 'tolerance' like the New Left does. The fact is that public contempt for ideals like democracy and equality have become mainstream as has the glorification of selfishness and power. Both the New Left and the New Right pander to these vices, simply varying their appeal with Envy on one hand and Paranoia on the other. Propagandists also cultivate a willful ignorance and denial of their respective factions' obvious faults; which is easy to do because if people recognized the truth about what they were supporting, they would also see that it was only a reflection of the evil within themselves. It's a simple matter of weaponizing psychological principles. Both Kamala Harris and the ghost of Donald Trump were simply blank screens upon which anyone could see what they wanted---or, more accurately, avoid seeing what they didn't want to see.
That is why these elections continually run in these downward spirals. People forget that only four years ago, Biden was hailed as the National Savior, just as Trump is now and was in 2016; likewise Obama before him, and Bush Junior before that. They all ended up extremely unpopular because all of their appeal was based upon illusions; but the Deep State controlling them ended up more wealthy and more powerful each time.
This is the same process all over again. The 2024 Election was carried on at levels of self-delusion that I never imagined possible. One would be assured that Trump was God's Anointed no matter how ardently the Republicans supported brutal anti-Christian Regimes; the spectacle of the GOP Convention; or hosting homo 'weddings' and fundraisers at Mar-a-Lago. Supporters insisted that the Republicans would save us from the Deep State, even though at least half of Trump's entourage were Bush Machine holdovers and Never-Trump Swamp RINOs until only a few months ago. They argued that the Republicans were ardent nationalists, despite the campaign being loaded with WEF Young Global Leaders and donors who are CEOs of WEF Strategic Partners. They'd tell us that the Republicans were the Party of Free Speech---in spite of passing the most extensive domestic espionage program, supporting suppressing protests, seizing Tik-Tok without Due Process, suing and intimidating journalists, etc. I even had a debate with some at a Catholic site recently who insisted that we must stop Kamala's Radical Abortion Agenda, while Trump and his woke camarilla were vowing to veto any attempt to ban abortion. The same people who denounced Scamdemic-level Police State suppression were all in favor of it applied to the so-called 'Immigrant Invasion.' Too, on that subject, they cheered on the idea of immigrants poisoning our blood and subverting our culture while billionaire immigrants and dual-citizens freely fueled the Republican efforts with cash and hopes of Government handouts.
Once the euphoria wears off, the disillusionment will set in and the process will go on repeating itself until Reason regains some foothold in the cholesterol and dope-soaked brains of the American people. In the upcoming articles, we'll be exploring ways that we can do this.
LOL! We're really going to have to work on your cynicism, but I do look forward to reading your upcoming articles.
ReplyDeleteWhile I disagree on your point of view on much, I have to agree I am alarmed by his choices for his transition team. Learning more about their function, it appears they get first wack at candidates. Vivek is a particular problem, having posted several times on his history. It is hard for Trump to claim this time that he was naive this time around. Perhaps you are more correct in your thoughts than I care to admit, as per your comment left at my place.
ReplyDeleteWell, as Reagan said, 'If we agree 80% of the time, we're on the same team.' I supported Trump his first term, though I disagreed on his Middle East policy, some of his Cabinet choices, and his squishiness on homo 'equality' I supported a lot of what he did. This time, though, so many Red Lines have been crossed that it's hard to be optimistic.
DeleteThis made me smile.
