It isn't often that we find a worthy cause to donate to these days. However, one that readers might wish to consider is to help 42-year old Florida mother, Briana Boston by visiting her GoFundMe page. Donations were at around $62,000 as of this writing.
In the wake of the assassination of the CEO of United Health Care last week, the ringleaders of the criminal cabals posing as American economic leadership have become understandably nervous. After decades of carrying on"unchecked by constitutional restraints or ordinary human feeling, making sport of the lives and fortunes of men," the reality that some nameless, faceless individual can cancel them like they cancel others is giving them nightmares.
Since these Plutocrats own the Legal Establishment like they own everything else, they've mobilized their private armies (a.k.a. Law Enforcement agencies) to make examples of anybody who might not watch what they say in public. Briana Boston is (so far) the first such example.
Mrs. Boston had an argument on the telephone with an unusually paranoid 'Customer Service Representative' employed by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Group, a confederation of Insurance Cartels which would have ceased to exist long ago if our Government bothered enforcing Anti-Trust Laws and if BCBSG weren't pumping millions into Beltway lobbying efforts. Apparently, she referenced the assassination in New York during the argument: the BCBSG operative ran screaming to the police and within a few hours, Ron DeSantis' goon squads raided the Bostons' Lakeland, Florida home.
“She’s been in this world long enough that she certainly should know better that you can’t make threats like that in the current environment that we live in and think that we’re not going to follow up and put you in jail,” snorted Lakeland Police Chief Sammy Taylor. Mrs. Boston has no criminal history and owns no firearms.
Briana Boston is facing 15 years in prison and is currently being held on $100,000 bond thanks to the elastic legal procedures brought to us by George Bush, allegedly to 'fight terrorism.' According to the judge who set the bail, the high amount was “appropriate considering the status of our country at this point.”
The status of our country, indeed. This is what decades of Speech Codes, Cancel Culture, and Political Correctness has brought us to. Fortunately (for now) we can push back. Visit Mrs. Boston's GoFundMe page this holiday season and do an innocent family a good turn.
Yep, that looks pretty politically motivated to me. I don't have all the details but it sure appears as if somebody in power is trying to get all "tough on terrorism."
ReplyDeleteWe don't really talk about it, but unarmed, older women, with no criminal record, and no history of violence, are often the targets of political prosecutions. Ashli babbitt was outright executed. Bevelyn Beatty Williams has gone to prison. At least Rebecca Lavrenz only got 6 mos, likely on house arrest. Here where I live when we couldn't arrest someone even for selling deadly fentanyl, we still managed to find the manpower to arrest a woman for not wearing a mask.
There's a reason why many of us always call Ron DeSantis, "Ron sanctimonious."
The reason why they target people like inoffensive older women and suburban housewives is a deliberate choice. In the case of thugs like Sammy Taylor is because he's a bully by nature of course; but it's intentional on higher decision-making level because of the message it sends: 'If we'll do this to a harmless housewife, we'll do it to you too.'
DeleteThere's also the concomitant psychological effect it sends through society besides sowing fear: it also is calculated to deaden the ordinary human feelings that we would have and instill ruthlessness as a public virtue in people's minds.
In the America I was born into, the police would have thrown the Customer Service guy in jail for wasting their time with frivolous complaints and everyone would have laughed at him. That was then, though, this is now.
