THE CONFIRMATION CIRCUS, DAY 2

The US Senate today has a full media circus scheduled for TV consumption after yesterday's predictably contentious hearing for Pentagon Chief, Pete Hegseth. In not unrelated news, Team Woke announced that Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg and possibly a few other Silicon Valley Oligarchs will be down in Florida to join Elon Musk to celebrate their successful buy-out of the US Government. Trump himself meanwhile has scheduled a video conference to address the World Economic Forum in Davos immediately after being sworn in: something he didn't initially promise to do from Day One. Is everybody tired of winning yet?

Meanwhile, over at the other Big Top, the Senate kicked things off by interviewing Attorney-General designate, Pam Bondi, another product of Jeb Bush's Florida Machine and former lobbyist for the aforementioned Jeff Bezos. That won't be brought up during the hearings, nor will her shady connections to the Scientology Cult or that she has worked for questionable foreign governments. Some concerns have been raised from pro-2nd Amendment groups over her support for various gun control laws; but those likely will be swept under the rug too; as the current Senate Leadership cares little for the Constitution anyway. Instead we'll probably hear a lot of fluff over her criticism of Hunter Biden and how the J6 Protests were handled.

Todd Blanche, one of Wall Street's top trial lawyers has been picked as Pam Bondi's deputy; while Emil Bove, formerly a federal 'national security' prosecutor appointed by Obama, will be third in line.

Sean Duffy, a former figure on Fox Business News, MTV, and ESPN has been selected for Transportation Secretary. Duffy is a major proponent of tariffs and has, during his term in Congress, proposed exempting Corporate Government Contractors from the Prevailing Wage Law. He also advocated removing the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from oversight duties enforcing banking regulations. Since Insurance Cartels and Banks were among Duffy's top donors, we can be assured how he will manage the ongoing problems in our airlines, rail service, bridge collapses, etc.

Marco Rubio, another Florida Swamp figure is 'testifying' today. Rubio is an arch-Neocon whose name is familiar to everyone. He's considered a shoo-in for the State Department post where his hawkish outlook and utter subservience to Zionist and Globalist lobbying groups are his major recommendation.

Other 'hearings' today include Bush Machine spook John Ratcliffe (CIA Director); Christian Nationalist Russell Vought (Office of Management and Budget Director); and billionaire Energy Cartel CEO Chris Wright (Department of Energy).

This is the cast of characters poised to lead what George Bush called The New American Century; and they are certainly a collection worthy of the Bush Legacy. All of them will be confirmed, of course. There are too many special interests and too many power-brokers backing any of these six nominees to hold the outcome in any doubt.

The Real World is a little different from the online LARPs and echo-chamber debates that the True Believers have been indulging themselves in for the past year or so. We are living in a Managed Democracy and have been for some time. The likes of Bezos, Musk, and Zuckerberg are still very much running things; and in such a system it isn't uncommon for them to change Management Teams occasionally. What we're actually witnessing is not some great ideological paradigm shift: what we are seeing is Phase II of the Great Reset, the Accelerationist Phase. Many in the Incoming Government are firm believers in this policy; though both the Mainstream and Controlled Opposition Media Cartels discreetly have kept these things from public scrutiny, although the latter has occasionally introduced it to their dupes, leaving out much of the negative aspects of the philosophy.

In the next few months, though, we can expect the discussion over Accelerationism to become more mainstream, and promoted as yet another New Normal. It won't be difficult either; the American public's gullibility can be relied upon to promote just about anything, as the last three or so decades of our history has proven beyond much doubt. American minds are like putty in the hands of propagandists, and generally only resistant to things like facts or reason.

  1. My dear Night Wind, are you somehow suggesting disloyalty to our beloved rulers?
