Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky was attacked in his yard this afternoon after his neighbor suddenly went berserk and charged on Paul's property. The neighbor, one Rene Boucher who is a known anti-Trump fanatic, has been harassing the Senator for some time according to neighbors. Senator Paul was also a target of last Summer's assassination attempt that wounded House Majority Whip Steve Scalise.
Boucher is currently in the Warren County Jail on assault charges. According to the local media, he is a physician who runs a pain clinic. His past political history shows him to have been part of the Occupy Movement; and his personal webpages are filled with anti-Trump hysteria. The Warren County Sheriff's Office hasn't issued an official statement: typically in such cases they are awaiting a psychological evaluation.
In this case, the motives for the attack probably were at least aggravated by political fanaticism. As obsessed with politics as Boucher clearly was, they no doubt played a part in his actions. Those on the Far Left with whom the personal is political rarely behave in any way without trying to make a social statement.
It ought to be noted too that Boucher's political rantings show that he strongly favors Gun Control. Now let's think back to the recent massacre in Las Vegas (also incidentally committed by a Radical Leftist). Wasn't the Corporate Media and the Liberal Establishment carrying on with a lot of hyperbole about the responsibility of pro-2nd Amendment politicians? Politicians like Senator Rand Paul, for example. The Left was accusing politicians like Senator Paul of being complicit in mass murders like Las Vegas.
Rhetoric like that is deliberate and done purposely to set off unstable people like Rene Boucher. As a medical man, Boucher no doubt heard rhetoric about attempts to repeal Obamacare as genocide against the poor and other nonsense. It never seemed to occur to him that Senator Paul's father is also a physician and that they could have discussed their opposing views on civil and professional terms.
But the Corporate Media isn't spewing hateful rhetoric to build unity. It is their type of attitude that caused Pope Francis to warn us about abuse of the tongue and how words could be employed as weapons. The Media and other Deep-State Leftists don't care what damage they cause: people like Boucher are simply useful idiots; expendable pawns in their power games. If convicted, Boucher faces a year in jail; will likely lose his medical license. And his business reputation is already irrevocably damaged. But the political elites who incite those like him will keep drawing their fat paychecks and inciting others to do the same.
The moral here is that what the Pope said about the tongue is a warning---not advice. He understands that we all have differing levels of moral education and differing levels of susceptibility to sophistry and propaganda. That is why we always must stress a civil level of public discourse because such people are also easily influenced by positive words.
UPDATE: Since yesterday, it has been announced that the Senator suffered broken ribs during the assault. The attacker hit him from behind, BTW.
Big Pharma, many believe, are among the largest drug-trafficking gangs in the United States. Unlike the days of the Deep State, however, the Trump Administration doesn't let them get away with it---even for Big Pharma execs who try to buy them off.
Such a case in point was John N. Kapoor, founder and CEO of Insys Corporation. Kapoor was thrown in jail this week for Racketeering and illegally distributing Opioids. Along with Kapoor, six other top executives of Insys were also arrested and charged.
According to the indictment, Kapoor and his henchmen intentionally conspired to distribute a Fenatyl-based drug that was approved only for specific cancer treatments. Kapoor and the others bribed physicians; set up front-companies, and fraudulently misled insurers and investigators by claiming that their patients were suffering from cancer when they in fact were not.
US Attorney William Weinreb said in a press release: "Today's arrests reflect our efforts to tackle the Opioid Crisis from all angles. We must hold the industry and its leadership accountable---just as we would cartels and street-level dope-pushers."
FBI Agent Harold Shaw, whose team unearthed the criminal enterprise, was even more blunt: "Selling highly addictive opioid cancer-pain drugs to people who did not have cancer makes them no better that street-corner drug dealers. Today's actions will put the industry on notice that the FBI will vigorously investigate corrupt organizations and hold executives responsible for their share in the Opioid Crisis."
If convicted, the whole gang could face up to 20 years in prison.
What's an interesting side-note to this story is that Kapoor was a major Republican donor throughout his career. Mostly to RINOs, but he did donate to Trump in 2016. Why is this important?
It's important because it also illustrates that days when corrupt corporations could buy protection from politicians is over. Federal authorities are no longer looking the other way at people with the resources to buy influence. Another non-Opioid related example happened also last week when Exxon-Mobil---Rex Tillerson's old outfit---settled with the EPA in a nine-figure sum for egregious violations of the Clean Air Act at eight chemical plants.
Insys' actions are the subjects of two civil lawsuits filed in 2014 and 2015 respectively by families of two people who died of overdoses after corrupt doctors prescribed their products on Insys' instigation. The State of Illinois has also sued the company and there is pending legislation to bar the company from doing business in the state.
While vacationing recently, I listened to an edition of the Alt-RINO talk show The Savage Nation. Michael Savage, the host, was complaining loudly about the nation's welfare system and stated that low-income Americans should "learn to live with less."
Savage's way of thinking is common among many Conservative pundits. Personally, nothing is more irritating than hearing this kind of thing---especially out of people like Savage who are rolling in money thanks to the efforts of a billionaire son who supports him.
We don't deny that the Welfare System is corrupt and inefficient and in need of serious reforms. But it isn't helpful at all to the Conservative Movement to hear these types of dismissive remarks put forth as desirable policy. We have record numbers of people on welfare for two major reasons:
1. We have been in an economic downturn for a decade; and
2. The Cost of Living is inflated.
Wall Street and the Deep State profit off of price inflation and a weak dollar. Their propagandists in Media and Academia have convinced most Americans that welfare is either (a) a waste of government resources---the RINO position; or (b) needs to be expanded because inflation is inevitable---the Liberal position. Both are entirely wrong and are designed to obscure the real causes of widespread poverty mentioned above.
The United States has not gone through a sustained deflationary year since 1956. Prices have risen 800% since that year; it now takes almost $10 to purchase what $1 would then. It's a matter then, of simple mathematics. We don't need more welfare spending or higher minimum wages: we need lower prices.
Likewise, we don't need to make drastic welfare cuts. There were plenty of government welfare programs in 1956 too. In fact, Social Services were cheaper to run back then because government budget deficits are lower during deflation than with inflation. This is why the Federal Government could pay the huge debts of the 20th Century and still remain solvent.
When the dollar has less buying power, financial predators like George Soros move in and profit off the interest run up by public and private debt. The reason that public deficits keep expanding is because the interest charges go up exponentially as the value of the dollar declines. This is why the Robber-Barons on Wall Street like inflation. The Deep State politicians like it too; but it expands the numbers of people dependent on government assistance. Deflationary economics reverses the paradigm.
Since the Trump Administration has come in, GDP has already risen 3%---still sluggish, but a huge improvement over the abysmal Obama Era rates. Unemployment is down slightly. The dollar has been fluctuating. That's the point where Trump needs to focus: increase the dollar's strength and prices will come down. That is what we need to complete the economic recovery and make the costs of Social Services negligible.
Most of us who've actually paid attention to trends in public education fully understand that the majority of public school administrators are severe neurotics. Their neuroses continually manifest themselves in the types of Political Correctness which emerge in their 'progressive' policies. What is evident in most of these policies is that these administrators are simply acting out unresolved conflicts from their own childhoods and teen years; and then projecting them onto a largely helpless group of students.
The latest specimen of this dysfunctionality is reflected in the latest PC academic fad: banning children from having close or best friends.
"There's a policy at our school that, if your child is having a party, you can't give out invitations unless every child is invited." a parent explained on the appropriately-named talk show, Loose Women.
This trend started in Britain about five years ago and has begun gaining sympathetic adherents in North America. Neurotic adults who in their youth envied their more popular peers see an opportunity to prevent close friendships from developing in the first place. These are the same characters who don't believe in gender polarity; so naturally they don't understand why forming close friendships is important---albeit expressed in different ways---between boys and girls.
Establishing close personal friendships is especially important for young girls. It helps develop the types of empathy and navigating interpersonal relationships that prepare them for marriage. Boys tend to find the same thing in groups: clubs, teams, etc. Their close friendships form thus a surrogate brotherhood. This prepares boys for the kinds of teamwork and sense of responsibility necessary to provide and protect as fathers.
During late childhood (about 8-12 years old) these relationships are almost exclusively homosocial. This is a normal stage of psychological development before moving into relationships with the opposite sex. The majority of homosexuals never make this transition successfully.
Thus it's logical that the same educational bureaucrats who are breaking down gender identity are also predisposed to breaking up friendships. They themselves are sexually and psychologically fixated in their late childhood years. As further proof of this, note that as adults in universities they deal with stress by retreating to safe spaces with hot cocoa, coloring books, and Play-Doh. This is exactly what a 9 year-old would; and for children that age such things are beneficial. But a 19 year-old doing that just looks retarded.
With a new fiscal year approaching and Obama/Swamp-RINO educational mandates expiring; let's hope that Betsy DeVos and the Trump Administration show the same aggressiveness in school reform that they've demonstrated in other social issues.
It's hard to believe, but our site has finished another six months of existence. This last period saw some major progress. The Manosphere's Red Pill Cult took two heavy losses with the exposure and downfall of Robert Fisher---a New Hampshire politician operating the notorious Red Pill Subreddit; and second the universal Internet ban on Andrew Anglin's evil The Daily Stormer. And there's much indication that Churches are beginning to see the danger of male radicalization and take steps to combat it.
The Trump Administration is draining swamps and restoring American culture. The Deep State elites have been losing ground as the people seem to have found a voice. Trump is also taking on the Opioid Epidemic head-on and breaking up criminal gangs like MS-13.
Our readership here has expanded globally. The biggest statistical surprise this six months was a dynamic readership jump in Turkey. President Erdogan has apparently lifted the ban he had on us before---maybe because we praised the way his guards handled the Antifa losers who protested his last visit here.

The Trump Administration---mostly through the influence of Vice-President Pence---has recognized that we are in grave danger of losing global leadership in science. In fact, we have already fallen behind Russia, China, and the European Union in several areas. As with the Opioid Epidemic, previous administrations were in denial about the US falling behind in science and technology. The fact that this article was most read is a positive sign that many Americans are getting on board with these initiatives.
The second-most read article was published on September 7th, titled Vox Day Howls as he Gets a Taste of his Own Medicine. The hypocrisy and double-dealing of Red Pill cultist Vox Day---especially after the Charlottesville debacle landed a few of his cronies in jail---came back to haunt him. The very tactics he proposed against others were used on him by his disgruntled minions. Actually 2017 has been a disastrous year for Vox and the Red Pills generally. Let's hope that we can make 2018 even worse for them....

John Horvat of the America Needs Fatima blog wrote an excellent article recently which all interested in social issues should read. He speaks in this article of the need for social safety valves; ways in which people can unite and forget their political differences. The Cultural Marxists have been breaking down these types of institutions for decades. This is especially true on the larger scale with men: all-male institutions and social networking venues have been co-opted by Feminists and homosexuals. But women have suffered too, because women traditionally found a cause outside themselves in the family or community works. These institutions, too, have broken down.
Some may wonder why something as seemingly insignificant as the NFL protests are actually important. As Horvat notes: "The Left sees these calming safety valve issues as expressions of an oppressive regime which must be overthrown. Even the slightest recourse to safety valve traditions is decried as intolerable oppression that must be eliminated. The Left understands that importance of the safety valve to social stability. That is why they are using safety valve issues to advance their cause."
Yes---Horvat gets it. He understands what many Conservatives do not: that what is being done in these types of Leftist attacks has nothing to do with the Left's concern for scouting, football, bathrooms, marriage, or 'gun culture'. It has everything to do with destabilizing society.
Thanks largely to our dysfunctional educational system, most Americans don't understand that fomenting social instability and dividing society through Political Correctness has been a Leftist tactic since Karl Marx' day. The purpose of doing so---as practically all Marxists have said openly---is to create such social chaos that the tyranny of Communism seems desirable and benign to a populace desperate for law and order. The first modern Communist government came about in the short-lived Paris Commune of 1871 after the humiliating French defeat in the Franco-Prussian war and the chaos that ensued in Paris afterwards, for example. Most Marxist and Socialist regimes came into power in such ways.
Horvat also makes this prescient point: "Pressures build in such a climate and can lead to radical social shifts. Indeed, life becomes impossible without social safety values."
He touches on a point which we have brought up often relative to Men's Issues. In fact, most of the issues which Horvat mentions are deliberately and specifically aimed at men. The Boy Scouts, the Military, professional sports, all-male clubs, politics, first responders, etc. were all constructive ways for men to assert themselves in constructive ways and make a difference. These avenues have been closed by Political Correctness. Even statues of heroes are torn down; men's literature is removed from schools---and most degrading of all, men are being forced into unisex bathrooms: as if even relieving themselves is some act of 'patriarchal oppression'. Fathers and husbands are considered irrelevant in marriage.
Men are psychologically designed---by God or Nature---to defend and maintain a society. In the Old Testament, God's first command to Adam was to "defend the Garden and maintain it." This is a man's natural calling and the greatest fear of any male is failure and insignificance. As an example, recently I observed two city street-bums fighting over who got a position on the sidewalk for begging. That's how strong the fear of insignificance really is in males---even in that degraded condition, one bum couldn't stand the thought of being a lesser bum than the other.
When men are shut out of constructive ways to assert themselves, it follows that they're going to take destructive paths. Some stop fighting and become male feminists or part of LGBTQ/Liberal culture. Others join cults like the Red Pills and pretend to be 'Alphas'. Others turn on society and become mass killers or join gangs like Antifa or Al-Qaeda. Many turn to crime. Many also turn to drugs, alcoholism, and suicide.
Nature is always going to take its course, whether would-be social engineers like it or not. But what course it takes depends upon us as a society. As Horvat says, it's a mistake to believe that an election, or an economic stimulus, or legislative action will turn things around. To undo 3-4 decades of cultural destruction, we are going to need some systemic social changes.
The San Francisco 49ers, an NFL team which managed to go from producing national icons like Joe Montana to producing social dregs like Colin Kaepernick within a single generation, is reportedly donating a half-million dollars to gun control and anti-police activist groups. After the announcement, Jed York, the team's owner huffed indignantly to fake-news outlet ESPN that people were "painting him as a Leftist."
But it actually doesn't take too much paint. Open Secrets shows that York donated thousands during the last election to Hillary Clinton and to Democrat California Senator Kamala Harris. York himself is related to the DeBartolo family, who founded the team. He is one of several trust-fund babies who make up much of the NFL leadership in whom generations of inbreeding has taken its toll. He was appointed by his mother to head the 49ers in 2008. Sports Illustrated writer Michael Rosenberg wrote in 2014 that York's leadership "has created a culture which encourages selfishness, weakness, and back-stabbing" within the 49ers organization.
Needless to say, York is completely supportive of NFL players protesting President Trump and taken to social media to egg the protests on even further. It's not surprising either that York favors disarming citizens and disabling police. The 49ers have numerous players who've spent a lot of time in jail since York took over. Former San Francisco end Aldon Smith---the most frequently arrested player in NFL history---was also a 49er. Aside from Smith, 10 other San Francisco players have run afoul of the law since 2009.
Most recently, these crimes include assaulting a 70 year-old man and domestic violence. Others include DUI and drug offenses. In 2014, corner-back Chris Culliver ran over a cyclist while speeding and threatened a witness with brass knuckles. There's some real high quality folks with whom York associates.
It's hard to believe today, but once the San Francisco 49ers were the epitome of excellence. They had a reputation of being a tough, 'blue-collar' team who won games without a lot of grandstanding and celebrity hype. The aforementioned Joe Montana once scored five touchdowns in a single game despite having a broken rib-cage.
But that was then and this is now. Today the 49ers are the epitome of Trash Culture---just like the rest of the NFL.
