FOLKLORE FAITH AND SETTLED SCIENCE

       InsanityBytes has been doing a good series lately on Folklore Faith debunking some of the blasphemies common misconceptions held by postmodern Churchians. The second installment, All Gods Are Equal and Valid had an interesting meme which encapsulates much of the spiritual vacuity of the present age.

    A meme like this could only have produced by someone from the Millennial/ Zoomer Generation. It has all of the earmarks of what passes among them for deep and profound argumentation. Basically, one takes an aphorism, states it as though it were an indisputable fact, then punctuates it with a snarky, self-righteous statement which is presented as a self-evident conclusion. Such is the result of life in a Theatrocracy: a culture where comedians and influencers drive public discourse.  

   Plutarch, a Roman historian who's been relegated to Dead White Male status in our day, spoke of the downfall of Ancient Athens which began with this kind of contempt for actual wisdom following the passing of Pericles. "With public approbation, the statuesque oratory of Pericles gave way to Cleon's theatrical delivery. Girding up his himation, he strode up and down the bema haranguing in a loud voice and vilifying his opponents; thus he corrupted the people by his impulsive manners." 

 Plato, another Dead White Male, whose thought has today given way in favor of geniuses like Keith Olbermann and Stephan Colbert, who lived during this period wrote: "In this way, the theatres from being mute have become vocal, as though they had an understanding of good and bad...and instead of an aristocracy an evil sort of theatrocracy has grown up. Consequent to this has come disobedience to rulers, and then to escape the control of parents and elders; and when near the end, control also of the laws." It hardly needs explanation that then, as now, that "the people were enticed by demagogues from their ideals of philanthropy, conceived by Aeschylus and brought into public life by Pericles, to a policy of brute force in the government of allies and of narrow, material selfishness in the extension of their power."

   If most of these smart boys would actually go back and read some of these now-despised writers instead of popping off in Hookah Lounges and online chatrooms, they would make less fools of themselves. 

      In the first place, they would learn that haven't really been "3,000 gods so far," but only One. The learned among our pagan forefathers all agreed that the Divine Nature is indivisible; and that the names and rituals pertaining to ancient deities were merely localized cultural expressions of a belief in the same Supreme Being. What we would call today angels or saints were also venerated, as it was believed that these lesser 'gods' had particular provinces over which they assisted mankind. These ideals were often based on natural symbols such as Astronomy or animalistic totems. But over all of these was One Supreme God. 

   Contrary to what Postmodern Academia teaches, wars, persecutions, and conflicts fought on purely religious grounds are uncommon in human history. Governments rarely moved against religious sects unless they were seen as a threat to public order; and in more modern times religion has been used as cover for purely economic or political wars and persecutions. 

   Then, as now, a few cults and fanatics would appear and these were believed to motivated by false gods or evil spirits. The criterion for defining these false gods was later expressed by Jesus "By their fruits you shall know them." This involves discernment, since what we know of God's Perfect Goodness would certainly not be in anyway compatible with the theology of an organization like ISIS. 

  But in our supposedly enlightened era, discernment is a wholly lacking quality among society in general. Hence we've seen the simultaneous rise of both Satanic Cults and Materialistic Scientism: the motto of both of which should be "My ignorance is as valid as your knowledge." Their understanding of the Divine Nature is abysmally poor; to them it is only a set of arbitrary commandments which they simply can invalidate by wishing away.

  

     God is by definition, the Father of us all, and by the same definition, the Source of Absolute Perfection and Goodness. By belief in God, and love for Him and His Principles, we try to imitate His character. This is the source of moral absolutes. When we abandon the belief that human nature is essentially the same and that moral absolutes are fixed; what we are left with is what Erich Fromm described as "an attitude of indifference where everything is possible and nothing is certain. An increasing number of people," he continued, "are feeling confused about everything: work, politics, and morals; and what is worse, they believe this confusion to be a normal state of mind. They feel isolated, bewildered, and powerless: they do not experience life in terms of their own thoughts, emotions, and sense-perceptions but in terms of the experiences that they are supposed to have." Years after Fromm warned of this tendency, we've reached a nadir where no one can define something as simple as gender; and anyone who states the obvious is bludgeoned into silence. Most Americans are content to float off into drug-induced stupors and not think about it. 

   Authoritarian political and social leaders---backed heavily by financial interests---of course, naturally wish to step into the void and usurp the place of God. This, we're informed by Theology, was the sin of Lucifer, so it should come as no surprise that Satanic Cults are growing in power and influence. The Devil is the supernatural archetype of the types of megalomaniacs directing western society at the present time.

    If human nature has no fixed point and becomes infinitely malleable, then Social Engineers could in theory mold man to whatever system they pleased. Man would only be the product of artificial social constructs, as the Academic Mafia teaches now. No social order could, in theory, be judged as adverse to man's welfare since according to this doctrine, there is no human nature being violated. 

   History of course shows this type of very perverted Social Darwinism to be a complete lie; because human nature rising up against these planned systems and organized injustice is part of our heritage. The United States in particular began as an overthrow of a royal tyrant and his wicked schemes to make his subjects. George III tried to appeal to false religion too; styling himself His Divine Majesty; with toady bishops who preached his power "By the Grace of God." Our forefathers didn't fall for this nonsense, but established a self-governing Republic under the aegis that "All men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights." Postmodern Academia has tried to cloud this with appeals to sophistry like Critical Race Theory, but facts are stubborn things. 

  We must be especially on guard today against the kinds of ignoramuses like the publisher of the anti-God meme. The real danger with such people is that they sound superficially smart, and they target their messages to those unaccustomed to critical thinking or too besotted with narcotics either to know or care what the truth is. 

THE SCAM-DEMIC RISES FROM THE GRAVE

     With more and more proof daily leaking through the Wall Street-Media Complex' filters that our recent Election was indeed stolen; the Elites have been again raising the Scam-demic phantasm. This began, not coincidentally, around mid-November and has been steadily increasing proportionally with the evidence of voter fraud being publicly exposed. The fake news outlets and mercenary local health boards are reporting dire measures like ordering extra body bags and other supplies to prepare for mass-casualties. Several Insurgent governors (e.g. Newsom, Inslee, Grisham, Cuomo) also have thereby been encouraged to enact even more repressive measures against their subjects.    

   I've always thought it was rather strange that the Corporate Media always shows these hospitals and morgues preparing for mass-deaths, but we never see any footage of the aftermath. 

     The picture above is from a 1965 CBS News report and shows Air Force personnel unloading coffins of American servicemen killed in the Battle of La Drang in Vietnam. Now, according to the New York Times---which we all know is an unquestionably reliable information source---as of yesterday COVID-19 claimed 314,000 American lives. That's over five times as many casualties in 2020 alone than claimed during the entire Vietnam War. Yet, isn't it strange that the Media never seems to have coverage of all the funerals which surely must be taking place in record numbers across America? 

    In fact, when scanning all the latest news at the National Funeral Directors' Association's website, there doesn't seem to be too much concern about being swamped with more casualties than they can handle. Doesn't it also seem a bit strange that funeral directors don't seem to be worried about needing extra resources to handle all of these dead bodies and grieving families descending upon them all at once? 

   My intuition tells me that the Media may be exaggerating just a little. It's quite astounding, in fact, that the Media can't produce evidence of over a 1/4 million corpses which they claim exist; while denying as baseless and unfounded allegations thousands of incidents of voter fraud supported by photographic and eyewitness testimony. 

    Yes, COVID-19 does seem to have incredible properties. It and the AIDS virus are the only two epidemics I've ever known that possessed the ability to time their outbreaks and suddenly vanish again in accordance with Left-Wing political necessity. COVID-19 can do even more remarkable things though: like escaping from the most secure virology laboratory in the world in the most heavily-locked down nation. Ebola couldn't even get out of the African jungle. 

   In spite of the fact that the COVID-19 virus escaped China, jumped the Pacific Ocean, and somehow managed to survive Summer temperatures, the experts assure us that it can't reach someone standing six feet away or penetrate an ordinary cotton face-cloth. It doesn't affect hundreds of people rioting and looting peacefully protesting on city streets, but does affect indoor gatherings of more than 10 people. Vaccines developed on 90-day notice are supposed to prevent it, but natural immunity is said to be a hoax; even though over half of those testing positive for it are asymptomatic. 

  COVID-19 is also remarkable for the way it manages to appear in some official statistics while disappearing from others. Take for example, official mortality lists from the United Nations World Population Prospects:

     

       Somehow, the massive death-toll this year seems to have evaded the UN's calculations. These figures are based on numbers for every 1,000 persons, meaning that America has a projected total of 0.0098% more deaths from all causes in 2020 than in 2019. That includes not only all of the alleged COVID deaths but the very real spike in suicides and substance-abuse related deaths that have escalated during the Insurgency's crackdown on free enterprise and freedom of association. 

     Lest some angry NPC start snorting that 'the numbers are still higher!' Let's look back at a time of comparable figures:

      Though still a young lad during most of this period, I don't seem to recall any pandemics during the Carter/Reagan years. I certainly don't recall any mass-hysteria leading to widespread suspensions of Civil Liberties on the scale we see today. During the end of this graphic, (the Bush/Clinton years) we were protesting and objecting to things like the Legal Establishment's abuses of the Drug War; mandatory seat-belt and helmet laws; the 21 drinking age laws; installation of metal detectors and surveillance cameras in public places; inflation of statutory offenses to major crimes; expansions of speech codes and other political correctness; growing militarization of domestic and foreign policy, etc.---things which as we warned then were setting precedents for what is happening now---but in spite of that, the U.S. Mortality Rate was in a fairly steady decline until 2009. 

    These figures, along with data from various States, have begun circulating; and this has led to the Corporate Media scurrying to activate their paid debunkers fact-checkers in to try and counter the truth. The charts posted here were taken from a website called MacroTrends, which announces at the top of the page that "all 2020 and later data are UN projections and DO NOT include any impacts of the COVID-19 virus." I can't think of any statistical reason why those numbers should be left out: this explanation sounds eerily similar to official excuses for the anomalous vote totals we were getting during the week after the Election. The numbers never lie except when Liberals want them to. 

   On pages 29-31 of their so-called Unity Manifesto, the incoming Regime brags about its commitment to the further destruction of Civil Liberties under the pretense of fighting the Scam-demic. 

    "We must also expand funding so state and local public health departments can hire sufficient staff to adequately conduct contact tracing for everyone who tests positive for the novel coronavirus. Only through testing, tracing, and targeted quarantining can we hope to fully understand the scope of the pandemic, contain it, and stop it...We will keep these emergency measures in place until the pandemic ends and unemployment falls significantly. And should the United States find itself in another pandemic or severe economic downturn in the future, these protections will again be made automatically available, so Americans are never again left to fend for themselves in times of crisis...America must never again be caught asleep at the switch in a global health emergency like the coronavirus pandemic. Democrats believe we must follow the informed advice of scientists and public health experts in addressing the coronavirus pandemic, and will take steps to protect federal scientists from political influence. Democrats will act swiftly to stand up a comprehensive, national public health surveillance program for COVID-19 and future infectious diseases, including recruiting 100,000 contact tracers to help state and local health departments identify people at risk of contracting or spreading the coronavirus."

    Yes---seriously. There are many Americans who actually believe that punishing and persecuting the sick; declaring indefinite States of Emergency and creating a Federal secret police force are positive things. It's especially noteworthy how the propagandists for the New Order only vaguely referenced "following the informed advice of scientists and public health experts." That could mean a lot of things; and considering that the Insurgents put "testing, tracing, and targeted quarantining" as the start of their stated goals, it's to be assumed that the 'expert advice' they're anticipating will go beyond those. After laughing over the part about "taking steps to protect federal scientists from political influence," it occurred to me that this statement could have a double-meaning outside of its obvious political rhetoric. It seems to imply that their scientists aren't going to be allowed opinions that deviate from the politically correct ones. Given what we've seen so far of the Insurgents' intolerance of COVID skepticism---even coming from men and women of science---I think that future official suppression of dissent is not an unrealistic assumption.

   Which brings us to our concluding query: if the dangers of COVID-19 are so self-evident, why is there all of this urgency for suppressing any countering views? For that matter, why is there even a need for emergency decrees? In a real pandemic, one could understand a State of Emergency being declared and measures taken to expand medical accessibility and emergency responses; but we've historically seen American States put under actual Martial Law that didn't have the kinds of restrictions we're seeing now. In early 1942, President Franklin Roosevelt put the American States of Washington, Oregon, and California under military jurisdiction. That continued until 1944; but the citizens of those states were barely affected by it any more than the rest of the country's wartime measures. Nobody was closing churches or shutting down 'nonessential' businesses or requiring people to wear distinctive marks of their obedience. No one---except for some foreign nationals--- were 'contact traced' or forced into house arrest without Due Process or prohibited from travel. And while FDR was a proponent of establishing the United Nations, he had no intention of subordinating the US to some globalist agenda driven by German ideologues like the shady Klaus Schwab. And FDR certainly had no intention of turning of the US over to the rule of Corporate Oligarchs such as then ruled Imperial Japan. Whatever Biden is, he's no Franklin Roosevelt. The Liberalism of FDR's type died out about 40 years ago. 

     No modern Liberals are saying that. 

  Or that either. Most of the Insurgency's basis of support is founded on Fear and the Cult of the Victim. 

   Naturally, I couldn't resist adding that. 😇 Whatever one may think of Roosevelt, at least he won all four of his presidential terms fairly. 

   Sadly for our generation, however, it looks like the Scam-demic is going to be part of the cultural landscape for the foreseeable future; to be trotted out as a control mechanism whenever vested interests find it expedient to employ it. It probably won't be the only False Flag the Left has up its sleeve either. 

   

      

A DATA SPECIALIST WITNESSES PENNSYLVANIA ELECTORAL FRAUD: MEDIA SILENT

   Despite near-zero coverage from the Media Establishment, ongoing hearings are being held in Pennsylvania---site of some of the deepest allegations of voter fraud. The Insurgent Governor of the State---whose dictatorial rule was overturned by a Federal Court---is impotent from stopping the Republican majority in the State Legislature from pursuing the course of justice. 

   So today, a story began popping up in the Comments sections of various sites involving testimony given during a hearing in Delaware County, Pennsylvania---the West Chester area. After considerable searching, I found the story referenced in a passing fashion in a snotty op-ed published on WWMT-3 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The article, which was headed with the telling title, Trump Repeats Claims of Fraud while Biden Calls for Unity, portrayed the President grasping at straws, listening to the Pennsylvania Hearings with a small cadre of fanatical loyalists. The author, James Rosen, is a long-time journalistic hack notorious for publishing in Left-Wing echo-chambers; and he had this to say:

  "Mr. Trump, seated in the Oval Office, dialed into the cellphone belonging to another of his attorneys, who held the device up to Giuliani's microphone so the attendees could hear the president's unscripted, often rambling ten-minute monologue. 'This was an election that we won easily,' the president said. 'We won it by a lot.' On the live video stream of the hearing offered on the website of the state lawmaker who presided over it, Sen. David G. Argall (R-29), chair of the Pennsylvania Senate's Majority Policy Committee, spectators in the hearing room could be seen applauding the president's defiant words...the hearing contained testimony, at least superficially credible, from seasoned Republican poll workers in the Keystone state who alleged wholesale violations of standard election night protocols. Gregory Stenstrom, a Navy veteran and data scientist from Delaware County, testified that he observed a 'forensically destructive' process on election night that should call into question anywhere from 100,000 to 120,000 votes."

   This jackass went on to praise the 'statesmanlike calls for unity' spilling out of Biden's office---as if allegations of over 100,000 stolen votes was no big deal. Also, it should be pointed out that Gregory Stenstrom is not just some software programmer from the Navy, and is a little more than just a 'data scientist'. He happens to be the CEO of Marque Star Corporation---a technology company that he built from scratch in 2011 and has a 'proprietary software system'. The company specializes in streamlining electronic data processing. According to his Linked-In profile, Stenstrom was former Chief Computer Scientist for the Navy's Seawolf  program, British Aerospace, and NASA. He was a consultant for 22 years and Chief Technology Officer for several major corporations across the world. It should be noted that Stenstrom is also a professional deep-sea diver who, while in the Navy Reserve, led an underwater demolitions team---there's a little more to this guy's credentials than Rosen would have us believe. 

      While we're on the subject of pusillanimity, it seems that video footage of Stenstrom's testimony are becoming a little scarce around the Internet. I was able to collect a few fragments of what he told the Committee.

     “As of today, 47 USB cards are missing and they’re nowhere to be found… I was told personally that these cards that were uploaded…they didn’t update the vote live in real time. They only uploaded about once every 2 or 3 hours. I demanded they updated the vote so I could see what the result was and it was 50,000 votes — and as a computer scientist, an American and a patriot it doesn’t matter who those 50,000 votes were — I’ll tell you they were for Biden.”

    As I understand it, modern voting machines utilize a USB transmitter that communicates electronically with the 'Cloud;' meaning that they both record and report votes at the same time. Now, at least 47 of these cards are missing in one Pennsylvania county. Listen further to Stenstrom's testimony:

  "A man who was not a part of the process walked into the vote tabulation center with baggies of USBs. I objected: I said this person is not being observed, he’s not a part of the process that I can see, and he is walking in with baggies which we have pictures of and we have submitted with our affidavits and he was sticking these USBs into the machines. I personally witnessed that happen over 24 times – we have other witnesses who saw it including Democrat poll watchers.” 

  Yet another specimen of baseless allegations of widespread fraud. This is what the Media Scum tells you isn't at all relevant to the Electoral outcome; and tells the Ameroboobs to listen to late-night self-styled comedians and get their information from them instead. 

    

      Har-har-har. 

    Media vermin like Jimmy Kimmel and James Rosen know full well that these baseless allegations of widespread fraud are in fact true; and more and more of the truth is leaking out every day. 

     “I personally observed USB cards being uploaded to voting machines by the voting machine warehouse supervisor on multiple occasions. I saw this personally. I brought it to the attention of the deputy sheriff who was there stationed as a senior law enforcement officer and I brought it to the attention of the clerk of elections... In all cases the chain of custody was broken.It was broken for the mail-in ballots, the drop box ballots, the election day USB card flash drives, in all cases they didn’t follow any of the procedures defined by the Board of Delaware County of Elections."

    This is the problem with big conspiracies: it's hard to keep them a secret. People see. People hear. People talk. And the more who see and hear things being suppressed by the Corporate Media's mouthpieces, the more they are inclined to want to talk. "The fraud and corruption can no longer be ignored. It was too widespread to cover up." said Rudolph Guiliani as his legal team arrived in Gettysburg to hear further testimony. 

   Remember here that Stenstrom's testimony concerned one county. Our previous articles on arrests for voter also concerned activities in single counties. When Liberals squawk that there's no way that millions of votes could have been stolen---think of the thousands we're finding in single counties and how many counties there are in the U.S. Yes, it is possible. And it needs to be exposed and the DNC---who was very likely the instigator of these crimes---needs to be proscribed under the RICO statutes and its leaders brought to justice. 

  

AND THE WINNER IS----NOBODY

     Here in the Land of American Exceptionalism---where the people of every land desire a system of government as pure as ours---for the third time out of the last six elections, we've ended in a disputed outcome. After the last few weeks of extensive cheating by the Democrats, today businesses boarded up in anticipation of further riots, Federal Marshals were sent out to observe elections, and California---the Grand-Daddy of Them All when it comes to electoral fraud---had its electoral system declared unconstitutional just hours before the voting started. The same systems by the way are in use in Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, and New Mexico---all states that Biden allegedly won. (We have no way of knowing of course, since the ballots there are all mailed in and there is zero transparency). Arizona had its election stolen too---the exact circumstances occurred there tonight as in the stolen Senate Election of 2018. Minnesota and Virginia have had some rather suspicious circumstances around their final tallies as well. 

    In Oregon, Antifa, BLM, and other assorted thugs have been seen multiple times tampering with ballot boxes and intimidating voters.. No wonder the Deep State had to bomb other countries to rubble to get them to accept our Exceptional Democracy. 

    As of this writing, both President Trump and Uncle Joe Biden have declared themselves the winners, even though not all States have finished fabricating totaling up the results. 

    Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, and Michigan are States run by Insurgent thugs who've ruled like dictators since the fake 'Covid Crisis' kicked off last February. Georgia's governor Brian Kemp is a good and loyal supporter of the Constitution, but his entire State government and major cities are under the thumbs of Rebel freebooters. None of these government can be trusted to declare Trump a winner if he should carry those States (and he was ahead in all five until counting mysteriously stopped. 

   The President took the bold step of refusing to concede until the legality of this entire farce is determined; likely by the US Supreme Court. The Court has the power incidentally to nullify a State's electoral votes, though this hasn't occurred in the US since 1876. Back then there were very similar problems in several States---mostly in the former Confederacy

     although as we can see from Thomas Nast's classic political cartoon from that day, the racial roles have been reversed in 2020. It boils down to the same thing, however: a gang of armed, well-organized, and well-financed crud-balls determined to rob the average citizen of his Fundamental Rights. 

    My attitude towards the President's Declaration is much like my feelings about his Stimulus Packages and Project Warp-Speed. I don't really like it, but under the circumstances I don't see what else he can do. Caught in the middle of the maelstrom of mass-hysteria, corruption, ignorance, and fanaticism that America's become the President really doesn't have much choice but whirl around in it or sink until a way out can be found. 

   The Rebel Forces threw down the gauntlet by breaking multiple laws in a concerted attempt to overthrow the legitimate government of the United States by force and fraud. Too often over the last 30 years, the Elites have committed abominable crimes and simply walked away untouched. That has got to stop. This time, they've gone way too far and can't be allowed to get away with what they've done. If it means that Trump voids the Election and has to rule without opposition to drain this damnable Swamp once and for all, so be it. 

   

    Because Trump has the legal authority to put down insurrections by any means necessary. Lincoln used that authority during the Civil War, and F. D. Roosevelt did so on the Pacific Coast and Islands during WW2. Grant used it during a KKK Revolt and Bush Senior did during the Rodney King riots. The preservation of the Nation from internal enemies is the primary directive of all Civilized Nations.

   Secondly, if Trump conceded to the fraudulent Election, we'd be getting another group which is liable to seize arbitrary power itself---so we'd be no better off and probably worse off, in fact. Trump at least has shown respect for the Constitution and likely (like his predecessors) will lay down his extraordinary powers after the crisis has passed and order is restored. As for the other side---many of the Insurgent Governors are still ruling by decree long after any alleged public health emergency has passed---a few of whom had pried out of power by the Courts. With control of the White House, there's no limit to what they can do. 

    We simply have to accept the fact that the events of last night are not going to turn out well, regardless. We have to hope for the best, be more vigilant of our liberties than ever before because the fight ahead of us is going to be a long and hard one. 

CORONAVIRUS CORNBALLS ON A ROLL

    This is really shaping up to be one of those weeks. Try as one might, there's no escaping the mass-hysteria sweeping the English-speaking world right now. I'd rather hoped to go about regular business but it looks like I'll be under quarantine. This is not because I'm infected with COVID-19 or even know anybody who is. The problem out on the West Coast right now is that events are being cancelled, everything is closing, travel is being restricted, and even going to the grocery store is hit-or-miss as to what items are in stock. 

     Surgical masks in some places are selling on the Black Market for $100/box. They don't prevent anything, but that's beside the point. I thought if I was going to get a mask and spend that much money for it, I'd get one of those cool-looking ones like they had in World War I. 

   Bottled water is disappearing too: though why people imagine that water service will be disrupted, I can't figure out. At the same time, bath tissue supplies are running out. This doubly doesn't make any sense; since if the water's shut off, the sewer systems won't work either. But plenty of bottled water will help wash down the Prozac. 

    The panic is going to burn itself out along with the COVID-19 in about 10-20 days just like it has in China. The Media is going to fan this hysteria and aim it at President Trump (notice that the even deadlier H1N1 pandemic never got this kind of attention---oh wait Obama was president when that happened). Since there is going to be absolutely nothing else in the news until then, I might be writing on some different topics than the usual cult-busting and Deep-State exposing stuff---though I'll have that too. But otherwise, this COVID-19 subject is going to get about as much attention here as the Impeachment Hearings got. The only precaution that I'm going to take is to print out MSM articles on COVID-19 and keep them in the bathroom in case toilet paper becomes unavailable.

NOTRE DAME STANDS TALL

    Today, we got the good news from French authorities that the towers and edifice of Notre Dame Cathedral survived yesterday's horrific fire, much to the disappointment of anti-Catholic elements in the US. President Emmanuel Macron vowed that the structure would be rebuilt---and even set a timeline of 5 years. That statement of course brought derision from American Deep-Statists---the same bunch who never rebuilt the World Trade Center. 

    There have been many theories on how the fire started; none of which have a shred of evidence so far. That hasn't stopped the Corporate Media from swarming over the disaster like a bunch of cannibals dancing around a stew-pot. Despite the fact that they've been egging on anti-Christian violence for years; they were faking their 'shock and horror' at the tragedy; taking time out bash Trump in the process. 

    The MSM also trotted out a few Cultural Marxist pundits who took some backhanded swipes at the Church. They were mostly repeating the Marxist line about these magnificent structures were built to keep the masses down, make monuments to clerical opulence, etc. Since Mediaeval History is rarely taught these days (and distorted when it is), it might do well to remember how Mediaeval Economics worked.

    In those days, the majority of men were peasants engaged in agriculture on large estates owned by the nobility. The Middle Class was small but essential: these were the tradesmen, merchants, artisans, and others who provided services. During hard economic times, the Middle Class was hit especially hard. The peasants at least were guaranteed a home and food regardless of their poverty. But the Middle Class had no safety net. 

    The Church ran the welfare system during the Middle Ages, and numbers of skilled and able-bodied men were seeking relief during recessions. At some point, the Church leaders evolved the idea of constructing great churches and cathedrals and renovating older ones as a way of giving these men meaningful work instead of handouts. The Church had plenty of money and usually paid the highest wages. A project like Notre Dame Cathedral would have given jobs to hundreds of craftsmen, plus the businesses dependent upon them.

     In fact, this was a common practice among Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant churches well into the early 20th Century. President Roosevelt's New-Deal Era 'workfare' projects were modeled on these church programs. 

    The Radical Left, though, wasn't alone in its despicable behavior. The Alt-RINO Red Pills were sniping in the same way; exploiting the tragedy to advance their agendas. Christian-bashing with a good measure of Jew and Moslem bashing thrown into the mix highlighted most of their commentary. In the lead, as usual, was Vox Day who took some swipes at National Review author Ben Shapiro whom Vox bitterly envies and often uses a proxy to attack all Jews. Today, Vox had this to say: 

   
    Thus implying that his Alpha-Gnosticism represents true Christianity. Vox really is much closer to the heretics whom the original builders of Notre Dame opposed. And other Red Pills like the execrable bloggers PA, and Chateau Heartiste, continued in the same vein: drawing stupid analogies between the fire and the supposed decline of the West. Naturally, they ignored scenes like these outside the cathedral yesterday:

    There's the real future of the West. People bound together by Faith and actually doing positive things. It's noteworthy that none of these self-appointed manly Alpha leaders had a word of praise for the brave men of the French police and fire departments who went into that inferno and rescued scores of priceless treasures and artifacts---some of which dated from the Apostolic Age. 

     Heartiste is as ignorant of Mediaeval History as the Marxists, bashing President Macron by saying that 

"Understand what Maricon does here. He knows the native stock French are fed up with the Diversity and he knows the Notre Dame fire steels hearts against the invading horde. His using this incendiary language right at the moment his subjects are inflamed with nationalist passion is a deliberate provocation: Macron rubs his Globohomo depravity in the faces of White Frenchmen, and pushes their noses into the filth.

"This is humiliation porn for globalist traitors like Maricon. That’s all it is. Immediately returning, without a hint of shame, to the “diversity is our strength” mantra in the wake of a powerful symbol of the failings of multiracial diversity is nothing less than a flexing of Globohomo power meant to intimidate White Frenchmen to cower before their New World Disorder.

"It is to say that even when your most cherished civilizational masterpieces are burned to the ground, you have no recourse to stop globalism and to restore the cohesion of your nation. In your moment of greatest indignation and moral justification, you still must bend the knees to your effete Globohomo masters and take the diseased cock of their nightmare dystopia."

      Besides snidely changing the President's name from Macron to Maricon (Spanish slang roughly equivalent to 'faggot'), Heartiste goes on a rant about Macron's use of the word 'diversity'. What Heartiste doesn't realize is that France is diverse nation. There are groups like the Flemish, Alsatians, Rhennish, and Basque inside of France who don't even use French as their primary language. Corsicans are more ethnically Italian than French. Anybody who's been to France knows there are significant cultural differences between areas like Normandy, Gascony, Brittany, the area around the Riviera, etc. The aboriginal peoples of France were the Gauls, who long ago intermarried with the Romans, Franks, and others who settled in the region. 

     Against the bombast of its enemies, the Church again stands triumphant. And that's the real metaphor from the Cathedral Fire.  

THE AOC CONTROVERSY

   Regular readers here have probably noticed that posting has been a little less frequent than usual here recently. It's nothing too worrisome; it's just that, unlike those in the 'Elite' Media, we Independents have to deal occasionally with problems peculiar to those of us of the common herd out in Flyover Country. 

   Likewise, we haven't kept up with the news as much as usual: but when I began noticing the acronym 'AOC' appearing in news stories, I thought: 'Yes! Finally, a long-needed discussion of Age Of Consent laws. We've needed reform in this area for a long time!' I should have known better, though. It turns out that 'AOC' is referring to a dippy US Congresswoman with a hyphenated surname, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

   Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez represents the State of New York. New York is already known for having the worst tax laws, the worst gun laws, and the most intrusive regulatory climate in the US. Its public schools are among the most expensive and least productive; and the State Legislature recently decriminalized murdering unborn babies. New York officially recognizes 31 different genders. Their regulations on everything from smoking to dietary laws to bathroom accessibility have driven businesses from the State in droves. And, after 18 years, they still haven't rebuilt the World Trade Center. And Congresswoman Cortez is considered a radical even by the standards of New Yorkers. 

     So naturally, the Corporate Media is going to rally around such a character and raise her to near-celebrity status---like they did with Barack Obama, Kshama Sawant, and Bernie Sanders. For the last decade or so, the 'Elites' have been trying to reinvent these Neo-Bolsheviks as 'Progressives'; knowing that the NPCs will, reflexively, equate anything calling itself progressive with the public good. 

     As blogger John Horvat recently stated: "The appearance of this new style of politician should not be surprising. It reflects a culture in which people are avid for entertainment and stimulation. People with this mentality want everything to be instant, effortless and without consequences. This mentality is transforming every field. Thus, reporting has become news-entertainment that distorts reality and provides the “fake” news that plays to the frenzy of the moment. AOC represents a kind of politician-entertainer that acts upon the national stage providing moments of drama and comedy to a public eager for a momentary thrill or quick Facebook post. To stand out amid the frenetic intemperance of the day, AOC presents a spectacle that is sensational, shallow and even bizarre. She must submit proposals that are on the edge of absurdity. They must be just crazy enough to incite conservative outcry, yet just credible enough to excite liberal commentary. Both the congresswoman and the public coincide to create the almost surreal atmosphere of the American political scene where almost anything is possible, nothing is certain, and all is quickly forgotten."

     Indeed, politicians of the Cortez type are symptomatic of deeper social problems than they are actual causes of them. Liberals of a generation ago at least thought out their programs and didn't try to hide the fact that there would be costs and consequences to enacting them. If we listen to proposals of Liberals from FDR to LBJ, they were almost all framed in terms of Americans making temporary personal sacrifices for presumed long-term social benefits. Some of these polices panned out and some didn't; but the point is that Americans chose to accept or reject them on serious and well thought-out grounds. Try to envision Harry Truman doing a skit on Saturday Night Live, and you get the point. 

    Congresswoman Cortez is a product of Postmodernism and her appeal is largely based on the elastic shadows between Fantasy and Reality that the entire movement thrives upon. This is what makes their proposals so dangerous. They don't recognize either that there are both moral and physical Absolutes, nor do they believe that there are real-world consequences for violating these Absolutes. Things don't work like they do on TV in real life. 

    We don't need to postulate the outcome of these attitudes in the realm of theory. History shows us what an ignorant populace weaned on outrage and instant gratification who follow amoral leadership is capable of doing.

   And this is why we need to expose the unreality of the Left by the Light of Truth. 

  

THE WHACKO LEFT WING IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY

   So President Trump has announced that, due to continual failure to act on border security, a State of National Emergency will have to be invoked. The far-out whacko Left Wing---as is usual for them---is condemning the action without the slightest idea of what they are protesting against or why. 

   In the first place, our Constitution grants the President this right of unilateral action in certain circumstances. George Washington invoked that option twice during the 1790's. Once to put down the Whiskey Rebellion (an armed tax revolt); and again to suppress the Shawnee Indians who were committing border depredations in violation of treaties with them. Other Presidents have used it since, but controversies surrounding its use were settled with the National Emergencies Act, signed into law by President Ford in 1976. Since then, the Act has been invoked 59 times; 31 of which are still in force from previous administrations. Few people probably know, for example, that the current restrictions on dealing with Iran stem from a National Emergency declared by President Carter in 1979: the longest-standing such declaration still extant. 

     Barack Obama issued 11 Emergency Decrees---10 of which are still active. The current one, dealing with border security, is Trump's fourth invocation of the Act. So where was all the outcry during the last decade about supposed usurpation of power? 

     This State of Emergency has been necessitated by the actions and activities of the Left. Fake 'caravans'---funded by George Soros and other international crooks---lie perched at our border for the purpose of inciting political divisions and destabilizing both the American and Mexican Governments. Porous borders facilitate the international traffic in narcotics, weapons, and White Slavery in which such criminals are engaged. We saw the complicity of the Democrats in these activities all throughout the Deep State Era and during Obama's term in particular. The Pivot to Asia; the Arab Spring; the Fat Leonard Scandal; the Maidan; Operation Fast and Furious---these were all geared to open international corridors for the Black Market. 

      Within our own country, too, the Democrats have sought to create 'sanctuaries' for criminal enterprises like MS-13 to operate at will. The problem runs much deeper than genuinely xenophobic and anti-Catholic elements among the Alt-RINOs and fake conservatives would have us believe. Those 'borders-language-culture' types play into the hands of the Radical Left. Securing our borders is---or should be---the beginning and not the end of long-overdue immigration reforms. We are a melting pot, but that's no license to throw toxic elements like ideological fanatics, terrorists, drug-pushers, and White Slavers into the mix. And that's what's been happening for reasons already stated above. 

      The Left has no moral standing on this issue whatsoever. It's best to ignore their rantings and get behind the President. 

TRUMP TAKES ON SCHOOL SHOOTINGS

      President Trump's Administration has thus far been remarkable in the way that it has met and solved problems. Trump has accomplished significant tax reform; is bringing us out of recession; and is well on the way to beating the Energy Crisis and the Opioid Epidemic. One of the ways that has accomplished these things---along with many other matters---is because he by-passes the Beltway Punditocracy and sleazy Corporate Media and goes directly to the people involved. A sort of modern variation of FDR's  Fireside Chats on early radio. 

      Last Friday, the President and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos held a conference with 40 educators and current and former students who had experienced mass murders in our public schools. Since the mid-1990's, these incidents have been occurring with frightening frequency. President Trump, however, rejected the idea that we should accept this as a New Normal, like the previous three administrations have done. 

      "I listened to their heartbreaking stories and asked them for ideas; and I pledged to them to take action. Unlike---for many years---the people in my position did not take any action. They didn't take proper action. They took no action at all. We're going to take action." the President said. 

      Trump also mentioned his visit to the Broward County Hospital (which went unnoticed by the Corporate Media): "People don't talk about the injured in these shootings. And they have to go through life with the horrid consequences of that situation that they were put in unnecessarily. 

       Some of the ideas floated around were very good ones, like re-opening the process of committing potential criminals to psychiatric hospitals and/or drug rehabilitation centers. Others, like extending various gun-control schemes, were more controversial. The President emphasized that---above all---partisan politics has to stop hamstringing any action. 

       Sheriff Scott Israel of Broward County has initiated a new model of training and response to mass-shootings. His approach took down an airport shooting last year---and probably would have saved more lives in Parkland were it not for the cowardice of one of his deputies. 

      Be that as it may, while Sheriff Israel's model is an efficient reaction to the do-nothing attitudes of politicians, it doesn't address the root of the problem. As the late Jack Webb said on an episode of Dragnet,: "Our laws are better for dealing with dogs---we don't wait for a mad dog to bite somebody before we take it off the streets." Very well put. By Sigmund Freud's own definition, in the inability to participate in a civilized society; to behave according to civilized social norms---is mental illness. Thus, the mentally ill should be taken off of the streets and treated. 

      The Whacko Left opposes doing this, however; for obvious reasons. It's no accident that the most Left-leaning cities have the highest numbers of mentally ill, sexual deviants, and drug addicts. Yet the Left is being hypocritical when it demands that guns be taken away from the mentally ill. Why is this hypocritical? Because the Left also argues that the mentally ill shouldn't be judged and shouldn't be considered potentially dangerous. They are entitled, according to the Left, to all the same rights has the rest of us. So, by that logic---why should the mentally ill be denied access to weapons?

          The Left can't have it both ways. Either the mentally ill aren't potentially dangerous and should have access to guns; or they are potentially dangerous and should be taken off the streets. It's time for a commonsense discussion about controlling crazies, not guns, 

TRUMP PROCLAIMS PEARL HARBOR DAY

     Today, President Trump revived a long-neglected day of observance, Pearl Harbor Day. While never an official national holiday, December 7th was proclaimed from the time of President Truman to remember the Japanese attack on the United States, and our subsequent shared victory over Global Fascism. The Pacific Theater in WW2 was carried almost completely by the United States, which had to recover from the near-annihilation of the Pacific Fleet. 

     President Trump stressed this remarkable recovery and victory as emblematic of the American spirit. He was joined at the White House today by Mickey Ganitch, Jack Holder, Lawrence Parry, Robert Fernandez, George Blake, and Alexander Horanzy: all six men venerable old survivors of the Battle of Pearl Harbor. It was a scene such as we haven't witnessed in decades: a president actually acknowledging their services. President Trump congratulated each of them in turn during the ceremony. 

      Ganitch was playing an inter-ship football game on December 7th, 1941. He reported for duty during the attack, still wearing his football uniform, and mounted the crow's-nest of the USS Pennsylvania. Completely exposed to Japanese fire, the crow's-nest was responsible for directing fire against attacking aircraft. The Pennsylvania was one of the few ship surviving the battle. 

     Holder was stationed on Ford Island---headquarters of the fleet and base for rescue and patrol ships. The island base was nearly wiped out on December 7th. Holder was injured, but went on to fly multiple missions in the Pacific.

      Parry was a gunners' mate; responsible for carrying munitions to those operating anti-aircraft guns. On December 7th, standard transport was badly damaged---often this duty had to be performed on foot and under enemy fire.

      Fernandez was a gunner on the USS Curtiss. The Curtiss set sail during the attack and engaged the enemy in the open sea. They shot down two Japanese planes and destroyed a submarine. The ship was hit both by a bomb, a torpedo, and a crashed enemy plane. Despite dozens of casualties, the crew alternated between fighting the fires and fighting the Japanese. The Curtiss survived the battle, and saw service again after extensive repairs. 

      Blake and Horanzy were the only Army veterans present. With a Japanese landing feared any moment, the small garrison at Pearl Harbor deployed to points to meet it. Fortunately, the invasion never materialized, but the troops had to have known that this was likely a suicide mission if it had been. 

      On the night of his acceptance speech in November, 2016, then-President-Elect Trump promised that the "forgotten among us would be forgotten no more." Today, after decades of bowing to Japanese money and Liberal political correctness, the heroism of ordinary Americans is no longer forgotten. 

  

THANKSGIVING AT THE WHITE HOUSE

      The President and Mrs. Trump held a Rose Garden Ceremony yesterday to announce the official Thanksgiving Proclamation. The President spoke to the crowd: "As we gather with our families on Thanksgiving and give thanks for our many blessings, we are reminded of the national family to which we along belong." said Trump, "This Thanksgiving let us also renew our national bonds of trust, affection, and loyalty between our fellow-citizens as part of the proud family of Americans."

      The President ceremonially pardoned the Thanksgiving turkey. Although the media calls this a 'tradition' it actually began with George Bush Sr. who did it somewhat tongue-in-cheek to silence a gang of radical animal-rights types who were protesting at his Thanksgiving speech. The practice of sending an official turkey to the White House is recent too; it began during Franklin Roosevelt's Administration. Ironically, presidents previous to Roosevelt were receiving so many turkeys as Thanksgiving gifts that they officials had to limit it to a single gift.  

      The Radical Left was spending the holiday spouting their hatreds, as usual. In general, Liberals are a dour lot; and they dislike American holidays especially. They hate New Years because it expresses hope; they hate Independence Day because it's about freedom; they hate Labor Day because they hate work; they hate Columbus Day because it's the only remaining holiday named for a white male. They don't like Memorial Day or Armistice Day because they hate the Military; nor Easter or Christmas because the days stand for Christian values which Liberals oppose. Thanksgiving is about family and gratefulness for prosperity and Liberals envy people who have both. 

       But therein lies the value of national holidays, as President Grant recognized when he established them in 1870. (Prior to that time, they were proclaimed by Executive Order annually---President Washington proclaimed our first official Thanksgiving in 1789). The modern word holiday is derived from the term Holy Day. Ancient Christians, Jews, and Pagans all celebrated them as way of unifying their communities. National holidays serve the same purpose. Hence, it grates on the Left to see Americans coming together under a common cause when they are constantly seeking to divide us. 

          If we're going to divide anything on Thanksgiving, it's better to divide up meals at dinnertime to our families or guests. What could be more pleasing to God than to see a family together on a special day enjoying the bounties which He has provided and made possible? There is something Eden-like about such scenes. 

          Holidays should be times of joy and thankfulness. Don't let the cranks and pathological malcontents spoil it; nor fall for the scams and insanity of the Black Friday lunacy tomorrow. A day named after the beginning of the Great Depression can't possibly be productive of any good.
