The 2016 US Elections actually got considerable interest in China, with the general population there treating it like the spectator sport it really was. The Chinese online community enjoyed the elections; placing bets on the winners; creating memes and even a few online games over the whole affair. Today the Chinese media ran several articles and editorials giving the more official positions.
The general consensus among Chinese leadership is that their policies will not be much effected by the elections. They believe that Clinton is unlikely to change most of Obama's policies---which China opposes anyway. On Trump they are a little more split. Some praise Trump for his stand of making US allies in Asia pay for their own defense; but many also dislike his position on imposing Chinese import tariffs. Trump, however, has a reputation as a businessman, which the Chinese respect.
Universally, however, Chinese leaders and academics deplored the US electoral process. The ruling party's news outlet The Global Times stated that the 2016 campaign "has damaged the world's attitude towards the US democratic system, and the results won't fully represent US public opinion."
Xinhua News cited the results of the final Gallup Poll, which showed that Clinton and Trump had the lowest approval ratings in Gallup's history; the only known time when neither candidate had favorable ratings.
"This demonstrates the deep distaste by Americans for the two candidates in perhaps one of the nastiest campaigns in recent history." the Chinese paper stated. "Scandals, mud-slinging, and even personal insults have dominated the debates and near-daily media headlines."
Yuan Ping, a geopolitical advisor to the Chinese government wrote in The People's Daily today that "No matter who wins the election today, it won't be a victory for democracy. The campaign this year has been characterized by being dirty, chaotic, and low-quality. Trump has been haunted by allegations of racism and sexism, while Clinton faced the possibility of indictment all the way to voting day, with numerous allegations of official misconduct pending. Most debates and communiques from the two candidates focused on scandals and emotionally-driven personal attacks, rather than serious topics about policy-making and solutions for economic and social problems."
The Chinese analysts are right about all of this: and the American people should hang their heads in disgraced shame that we've made ourselves an international laughing-stock yet again. How is it even humanly possible for a representative republic like ours to nominate presidential candidates and the majority not happy with any of them?
If anything, this election is going to have to bring about some deep soul-searching among the American public. Start pulling their heads out the Hookah Lounges and away from Reality TV long enough to see through the Exceptionalist schmaltz and the conspiracy theories and start focusing on building a real nation again. Otherwise, countries like China are going to continue leaving us in the dirt and laughing in their sleeves on the way there.
Will the American people get their acts together? Probably not. Some Chinese analysts saw this coming. "I'm not surprised at all." noted Zhang Weiwei of Fudan University, "Five years ago, when I debated Francis Fukuyama, I predicted that the next US president would be even worse than G.W. Bush. The US political system still maintains the characteristics of the post-industrialization era; and maybe their system needs reform much more than we do."
Ni Feng of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences predicted that "the exhausting, bitter, and sordid elements of the campaign" will not conclude with the November 8th election.
"The drama of the scandals will not end with the election result." Ni told The Global Times, " During the debates, Trump hinted that he might not accept the results if he loses, and he may use the political scandals around Clinton to dispute those results. And if Trump wins, the consequences could be more interesting because Trump promised to reopen the investigations and put Clinton in jail."
Ni has a point: the profit that the Wall Street freebooters and media moguls have raked in over this election soap-opera have been astronomical. Why not keep it going if its selling and the public's buying? Given the Corporate Media's investment in a Clinton victory; a Trump victory is likely to cause the same kind of backlash.
That's the one point that the Chinese analysts really overlooked. Wall Street and Madison Avenue are the real rulers of America---not Washington. And a divided country makes loyal subjects and good consumers. So the drama will continue as long as its profitable.
At the 11th hour of the 2016 election, the 'Never-Trump' faction of the Conservative movement have produced a worthwhile documentary titled The Sociopath. The film was produced by Red State writer Ben Howe. Whether one is an enthusiastic Trump supporter, or holding their nose and voting for Trump---or taking our advice and voting for strong Conservatives in federal, state, and local elections---the documentary is important viewing.
Regardless of the outcome of the election tomorrow, the most important thing that Conservatives must do is to understand that the American Conservative movement is in imminent danger of being hijacked by elements of the Extremist Right. The presidential election is a loss for the Conservatives no matter what. But as Howe says, "It's not too late to turn back." Re-building a Conservative base has to be a top priority for us now. The best place to begin is by putting ideological Conservatives in positions of power: the Congress, the Senate, the States, the Republican Party.
Conservatives must stand for an ideology, or they stand for nothing. Not embracing the Conservative ideology is exactly why the Neocon faction fell from power in the Republican Party. Now Trump himself may be an unscrupulous opportunist; but not part of a ruthless criminal mob like the Clinton Machine. As Howe points out, Trump tapped into frustration with the Neocons and righteous anger against the Cultural Marxists to position at a (now probable) presidential win tomorrow. What Conservatives must understand that the new direction that the Conservative Movement needs to be shaped by real Conservatives and not by the extremists on the Alt-Right. If they fail to do this, the fears of the Never-Trump faction are very likely to become a reality.
As we've stated here during the last several months, the so-called Alt Right is being driven by a loose confederation of anti-Catholic bigots, talk-radio shock-jocks, Red-Pill/Game Cultists from the Manosphere and Neo-Nazis. Game guru Matt Forney, who wrote a review of The Sociopath is a fair specimen of the group.
"Trump has revealed the Left to be cynical tricksters bent on White genocide, Gen-Xers to be a bunch of mopey faggots afraid of change, and revealed Mormons to be degenerate cultists with an axe to grind against the Gentiles." Forney writes, in spite of the fact that Trump has said nothing about 'white genocide'; has a huge base among Gen X, and is currently leading the polls in Utah. "But most importantly Trump has revealed mainstream Conservatives to be controlled opposition." Sure, Forney. Because Mike Pence is not a mainstream Conservative, right?
This is the important message of Howe's film. We can not allow a Republican victory tomorrow to be shaped for the next four years by extremists of the Forney stripe. Forney himself has no reticence about delineating the Red Pill Cult's intentions:
"At some point we're going to have to stop calling the Alt-Right 'alternative'; because it is the Right. With the ascent of Donald Trump, the Alt-Right is now the driving force of right-wing politics in the United States and so-called 'mainstream conservatives' are a powerless fringe group...their ilk are the last dust-bunnies of cuck-servativism, due to be swept away after the election regardless of who wins."
What Forney is talking about sweeping away is, as Howe pointed out, a legacy built by Reagan, Buckley, Goldwater and many others who made Conservatism mainstream in the first place. The Alt-Right---until recently---was itself a fringe group with whom true Conservatives would have nothing to do. With the power vacuum created by the Neocons' downfall, the Alt-Right wants to redefine and revolutionize Conservatism, not reform or restore it as the Reaganites did.
"Buckleyite Conservatism is equal parts priggish and impotent, pedantic and ignorant, defined by its adherents' obsession with being liked by their political enemies." Forney opines, after repeating some long-discredited canards against W.F. Buckley, "Donald Trump offends cuck-servatives because he lives to win; he doesn't back down and he's not concerned with getting Gold Stars from people who want to see him dead and his movement buried."
Another difference between Conservatives and Right-Wing extremists is highlighted in this statement. Buckley and traditional conservatives regarded Liberals as fellow-Americans with mistaken beliefs who needed to be convinced. The Right-Wing regards them as enemies who need to be wiped out.
As a true Red Pill Cultist, Forney can't resist pointing out Howe's failed marriage as 'proof' his lack of standing among so-called 'Alphas'. "He is a cuck in the most literal sense of the word; his wife publically divorced him in a Starbucks several years ago, then wrote an article in the Huffington Post bragging about it. Her name was also found in the Ashley Madison database leak, suggesting that she was cheating on him long before she kicked his ass to the curb."
Of course, Forney and the other Alphas never have problems like these. Forney blog's sidebar has his top articles, among which are treatises on breaking women's self-esteem, how to beat women and legally get away with it, how to seduce fat women, etc.
These are these kinds of people the Conservative Movement does not need. This is why Howe's film is so important. Released far too late to influence the election, it nonetheless shows what we have to work against in its aftermath. The Sociopath is available for free viewing on Youtube.

See, all of those allegations of corruption come with a very high price tag. But a lot of Ameroboobs don't mind; so long as there's plenty of drugs, welfare, and homo marriage. AND somebody else is paying the price.
In our last Feature Friday post, we explored some of the common traits that our readers equated with traditional masculinity, portrayed in various media heroes of the past. About the same time, Manosphere Game Cult blogger Rollo Tomassi of The Rational Male also published an article which seemed to explain away our views on the subject. Now Tomassi's post was written in response to one of his disciples who inquired as to why some men have 'Alpha' characteristics, but still display respect for, and deference to women. Since this question also describes the heroes we displayed; we felt it worth examining Tomassi's argument.
Among the Game Cultists, Rollo Tomassi is considered something of a deep thinker. He coined a new term to describe this type of male, The Blue Pill Alpha. Not only are 'Blue Pill Alphas' misguided (according to him); they are actually dangerous. He states:
"This is an Alpha who's never awakened to his Blue Pill conditioning. Say even one marginally critical word about women in general and they are the first in line to kick your ass. But they are also the most likely to self-destruct when their Blue Pill idealism is challenged or crushed."
Whether intentionally or not, Tomassi proves here an assertion we have been making for some time: that what the Gamers mean by 'taking the Red Pill' is a religious conversion experience. Tomassi gives a hypothetical example which underscores his point:
"Put a woman in his life and he transitions all that Alpha energy into essentially worshipping that woman. In fact, this prioritizing of women above his own interests is the motivation for his empire-building. These are the Alpha White Knights who channel that Alpha energy into making his Blue Pill idealisms a reality for any woman who fits his ideal. And when that Blue Pill ideal reveals itself to be fantasy---or God forbid, a Red Pill aware guy should take this fantasy from him---you will likely see him self-destruct and take either that woman, that Red Pill guy, or both along with him."
There is no other context to which we can relate to such notions unless by 'taking the Red Pill', he is referring to a conversion experience. This is doubly obvious from the fact that what he juxtaposes against the 'Red Pill aware guy' is actually a traditional specimen of masculinity, despite his sneering of it as idealism. It is actually largely the male component of monogamy: a man wins a woman whom he respects and loves and strives to do greater things to provide for their mutual benefit. Tomassi, and the Gamers generally deny this:
"Provisioning {for a woman} is not a prerequisite for any man with Game; but is it inherently Beta?" he asks, for Game Cultists live in horror of being thought a 'Beta', "Possibly...when he subscribes to the Blue Pill-conditioned idea that he's inherently lower Sexual Market Value than any woman, thus he must improve his odds of successfully breeding by being 'a good provider'. "
Here he displays that he has little knowledge of how gender polarity actually functions. It is the natural tendency of men to seek to possess a woman whom he believes he doesn't deserve. Tomassi seems to be thinking along the lines that all sexual relations between men and women are simply physical gratification with no emotional element attached. In fact, in both of the above-quoted passages, he seems to depict women as something more like sexually-programmed automatons who simply act on instinct.
But to return to the point made in our Feature Friday post, we showed that Tomassi calls the Blue Pill Alpha was the cultural role model for men throughout the 20th Century. In fact there has never been a time in Western Civilization when this particular male type wasn't generally held up as an ideal.
This is the conundrum the Game Cultists can never answer: at what point in human history did things change? The only two answers they can give are:
1. Tomassi's common assertion that a Feminine Imperative exists. But they cannot explain how this came into being, or when. This is essentially the same argument that the Feminists employ when they talk about the Patriarchy. They cannot find an epoch where men collectively overthrew women and imposed a patriarchy; neither can the Gamers explain when the Feminine Imperative took possession of the minds of men.
2. They can also argue that such past notions are outdated; and that social paradigms have changed. Again, though, this is simply a deference to Feminist thought. The Feminists cannot explain how society has changed or even that it has. The majority of the world's women today are not feminists; any more than the majority of the world's men have taken the Red Pill.
So tradition stands. The Blue Pill Alpha is simply another category that the Game Cult employs against those who reject their perverse innovations.
In one of his most important speeches yet; Pope Francis yesterday spoke out against high-level corruption in Western republics and stressed the effects that corporate/political intrigues have on the dignity of the individual. The address was titled "Work, Home, and Country" the three pillars which the Pope states are integral to human potential. The address was given before a meeting of international NGO leaders in Rome. NGOs, as we know, are typically connected to such unsavory characters as the Podesta Brothers, George Soros, and the Clinton Foundation. The Pope denounced the perverse policies of such leaders.
Francis spoke against the growing climate of polarization in Western societies; saying that such an atmosphere is rooted in fear. "No tyranny is supported without exploiting our fears. Hence all tyranny is based in terrorism. This terrorism is sown in the peripheries of society with massacres, looting, and injustice. Citizens who still retain some rights are tempted by the false security of physical or social walls; walls that enclose some and banish others. Citizens walled in, terrified, on one side; excluded, exiled and even more terrified on the outside. Is this the life that God wants for His children?
"Fear feeds off manipulation. While this may be 'good business' for the merchants of death; fear weakens, unbalances, and destroys our psychological and spiritual defenses. It anesthetizes us in front of the suffering of others and in the end makes us cruel."
It is certainly refreshing to hear a voice of spiritual reason during these unsettled political times. Francis explained that the fear and divisiveness being sown in society stems from an idolatry of money and power.
"This unjust situation that promotes all exclusion can harden in to an existential whip that enslaves, steals liberty, plunders without mercy and constantly threatens others, to drive everyone like cattle to what the divinized moneyed interests want." he stated. "There is a basic terrorism that emanates from the global control of money against humanity as a whole. From this basic terrorism, there are derivative terrorisms; such as narcoterrorism and what is mistakenly called religious terrorism.
"No people, no religion is terroristic. It's certain that there are enclaves of extremists everywhere on all sides. But terrorism begins when have rejected the wonder of Creation, man and woman, and replace it with money."
Would that we heard speeches like this during the 2016 elections, from any candidate. But unsurprisingly, the Corporate Media---which has many political and financial connections to NGOs---largely passed over Francis' speech in shamed silence. A few in the Blogosphere went so far as to denounce the Pope for his remarks; which contradicted their own divisive and exclusionary positions. The Pope's words humbled them too, comparing them to the Pharisees who persecuted Christ for violating their Sabbath Laws in the service of humanity.
"What happens in the world today, when a financial institution goes bankrupt, scandalous sums of money immediately appear to save it. But when this bankruptcy of humanity occurs, is there even a 1/1000 of part to save those brothers and sisters who suffer so much? In Europe, the Mediterranean has become a graveyard; and not only there, but by the walls, walls stained with innocent blood. Again it is fear that hardens the heart and becomes blind cruelty which refuses to see the blood, the pain, the face of the other."
This is from a spiritual leader who is denounced by anti-Catholic bigots on both the American political Left and Right. The Left persecutes the Catholic Church because it won't radicalize immigrants; the Right hates them for helping immigrants at all. The Pope noted this hatred, which grows out of fear, in his concluding remarks:
"When you rise to the level of Love, of recognizing its great beauty and power, the only thing you seek to defeat are these evil systems. To the people trapped in these systems, you love them, but you try to defeat that system. Hate for hate only intensifies the existence of hatred and evil in the universe. It simply never ends. Somewhere, somebody must have some moral sense, and that is the truly strong person. The strong person is the person who can break the chain of hatred, the chain of evil."
In that single paragraph Francis taught men more about masculine social duties than all of the Red Pill nonsense combined. This is actually what is taught to us in all our cultural mythos of heroes fighting dragons and other monsters. The monsters represent dehumanized evil by their form and systematized evil by their size and power. In the cultural mythos, these monsters are always terrorizing some group of people who are liberated by the hero slaying the monster. These myths were shadows of a spiritual truth, which the Pope explains: as Christ liberated all sinners through His sacrifice and destroyed the system of serpentine Satan; so Christian men are called upon to follow His example and break up evil systems enslaving others. Both the Cultural Marxists and the reactionary Right mistakenly co-identify the Dragon with those whom he enslaves.
"Our need is to promote Love and build bridges in a world that is increasingly marked by fear and by building walls in societies where conflict and inequality prevail." the Pope said. "Christ faced hypocritical and self-sufficient thought with a humble intelligence of the heart which always prioritizes the human being and rejects certain logics that obstruct their freedom to live, love, and serve their neighbor."
Tonight's security incident during a Trump rally in Reno shows two things. One is that the US Secret Service is still an efficient organization despite Obama's social engineering experiments in the Federal Government. Lest we forget, there actually was an assassination attempt on Trump in Las Vegas less than four months ago. And with Obama blasting off about 'potential terror attacks' before the election, the Secret Service acted quite properly.
What the incident does show, more than anything else, is why we need a professional news media. As it turned out, there was no assassination attempt, the suspect was a 'Never- Trump' conservative protestor who reached for a sign and was mistakenly thought to have a weapon. The Alt-Right's would-be alternative media made complete fools of themselves while the establishment Corporate Media pooh-poohed the whole event as some hysterical over-reaction.
Mike Cernovich, Roosh Valizdeh, and Vox Day were up within the hour not only claiming an assassination attempt, but offering opinions---although to his credit, Valizdeh did say that the details were not fully known. Cernovich and Day, however, had all the answers.
"Assassination attempt tonight, Secret Service heroes protect Trump {against would-be} assailant. Media is covering this up!"
No, Cernovich. The media was waiting for a statement from the police, which is what you should have done. See, your theory that 'Conflict is attention, and intention is influence' doesn't really work when concrete facts are involved.
And Vox Day: "Hilary's supporters are getting increasingly desperate," The Dark Lord warned.
Meanwhile, the Corporate Media---many of whose members have been caught red-handed in various Clinton-related scandals---have been quick to pounce on the "baseless allegations of an assassination attempt" and the "unprofessional conduct" of their Internet competitors. Which is mostly a lot of projection on their own part.
Jeremy Diamond of CNN---an effete protégée of Anderson Cooper---states "protestor says he was roughed up," in his headline, and rather ho-hums the whole incident. Diamond also snidely insinuates that the crowd singled out the suspect because he was a known Never-Trumper.
What happened tonight is simply this, and nothing more: Law Enforcement was placed on high alert in Reno; a protestor acted suspiciously; the Secret Service reacted properly; the protestor was released without being charged. End of story.
Or is it? This incident says a lot about where we've fallen as a culture---not so much because of the incident itself, but because of public reaction to it. Essentially the two dominant reactions here are one side ready to form lynch-mobs and the other behaving as though a legitimate security threat was no big deal. The Ameroboobs need collectively to stop behaving as though these elections are Reality TV shows and start taking them seriously.
Not only that, but we need a genuine media again this country. Between the full-time Internet trolls and the corporate shills, the state of American journalism has dropped to below the levels of sleazy tabloids of a few years ago.
Julian Assange is truly one of the heroes of the 21st Century. Risking his life and liberty in the cause of justice; Assange is now living in a dreary exile in fear of the very nation that once made Liberty of the Press one of its defining principles. Recently, Assange gave an exclusive interview with John Pilger, one of his countrymen also driven from his homeland. The two discussed many topics of current interest, none of which are covered by the US Corporate Media.
Assange stated that, in his opinion, the most important fact coming from the recent Podesta e-mail leak was the Clinton's admission that Saudi Arabia and Qatar were funding ISIS; yet took bribes from them and laundered the money through the Clinton Foundation. Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama have engineered some of the largest arms sales in history to the Wahhabi-run Gulf States---which in turn has been employed against the people of Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Bahrain.
John Podesta himself hardly has clean hands in these types of intrigues. He and his brother, Tony Podesta, founded the Podesta Group, a shady lobbying organization in 1988. The organization's own website advertises: "We are a top-ranked bipartisan team of global public affairs specialists. Always original, never ordinary, we know how to change outcomes." And as we can see, these outcomes are arranged at very high prices. Two out of every three lobbyists working for the Podesta Group previously held positions in the Federal Government. And we've further seen from the O'Keefe videos, that the Podesta Gang is not above twisting a few arms and bending a few laws as part of their 'originality.'
We saw no greater example of Clinton ruthlessness than in Libya.
"Libya, more than anything else was Hilary Clinton's war." Assange explained. "That's documented throughout her e-mails. She put her favored agent Sidney Blumenthal on it. Out of the 33,000 e-mails we published, 1,700 are about Libya. It was not simply that Libya had cheap oil. She perceived the removal of Qaddafi and the overthrow of the Libyan state that she could use in the general election to run for president. In 2011, there was even an internal document produced for Hilary Clinton giving her history as a central figure in the overthrow of the Libyan state."
Blumenthal, a political blackguard of the most repulsive and unscrupulous type, is best remembered for his activities during Bill Clinton's impeachment hearings. Blumenthal was then in charge of digging up sleazy sexual rumors about Republican Congressmen and passing them along to the press. During his Libyan intrigues, Blumenthal was being paid by the Clinton Foundation; and at the same time lobbying insiders for government contracts in Libya.
Assange neatly described the current US power structure and Hilary Clinton's role in it. "She represents a whole network of people, and a network of relationships with particular states...she is like the axis that interconnects all these different groups. She's a smooth central representation of all of that, and all of that is more or less what is in power in the United States. It's what you call the Establishment, the DC Consensus and its influences. In fact, one of the most significant Podesta e-mails that we released was about how the Obama Cabinet was actually formed---and half of the Obama Cabinet was nominated by a representative from Citibank."
Then-Senator Joseph Biden---touted by many as Clinton's choice for Secretary of State---was an integral part of this process. During Biden's Senate career, his top donors were financial lawyers and lobbyists ($6.9 million); financial institutions ($4 million); business services ($1.8 million). Small wonder that so many financial concerns are located in Biden's home state of Delaware.
The Clintons, Podestas, Blumenthal, Biden, the degenerate Wahhabi sheiks: these are the real faces of America's so-called 'Cultural Elites.' Through this series of exposures, Assange has converted what were once suspicions into concrete facts. Whether or not these exposures will have any effect on the effete US public remains to be seen.
