TERRIFIED NEOCONS FIGHT AMONG THEMSELVES AS CHINA STANDS FIRM

    The debacle on the Korean Peninsula is getting worse for Tillerson, Soros, and the other chicken-hawks. China has put its forces on high alert and sent an unequivocal notice that unilateral action on the peninsula would not be tolerated. Vice-President Pence---one of the few sane voices on the issue, returned from South Korea no doubt with a fair impression of the hopeless condition of America's military. Pence has been urging Trump to work with China on resolving the conflict: which aims to bring North Korea to the negotiating table.

      Admiral Harry Harris, the Obama-appointed commander of US Forces in the Pacific, was called to Washington today to testify in front of RINO Lindsay Graham. Harris' poltroonery in front of North Korea was as apparent now as it was during Obama's failed Asian Pivot. Throughout the testimony Harris appeared on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

       And likely not without good reason. Among the issues that have come out in the hearing is that US Forces on Okinawa and in South Korea are defenseless against incoming attack. North Korean submarines were undetected although near the US Fleet. Nobody in the Rainbow-Pride Pentagon noticed until yesterday that Hawaii has no anti-missile defenses. And only a few days ago, it was noted that our outdated power grid is wide-open to EMP attack.

        Meanwhile, protests have erupted all across South Korea over the Pentagon's decision to deploy THAAD missiles in the country. This, of course, was another of Obama's and Harris' ideas which was implemented under disgraced South Korean President Park. The Trump Administration informed South Korea today that they would be responsible for paying for THAAD. The South Koreans are less than enthusiastic about paying for a war that the Pentagon starts. The Japanese, too, are buckling---like the Pentagon, the Japanese fear China. 

        And that is the problem with using the Military as a diplomatic weapon. The Trump Administration inherited a military that nobody respects. And nobody respects it because it is no longer respectable. To bring back that respect, the Pentagon must be treated like a swamp to be drained like all the others. 

  

TILLERSON TO VISIT EAST ASIA

   Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is scheduled to visit Northeast Asia this for the Trump Administration's first major diplomatic effort abroad. Tillerson will visit Tokyo, Seoul, and Beijing---mostly to begin undoing the damage wrought by Obama's Pivot to Asia.

    The US Corporate Media is ignoring the significance of this trip; mostly out of petty spite because Tillerson refused to wine and dine them and allow taxpayers to pay their travel expenses. The Media Elites argue that they can't afford both free websites and maintaining foreign news bureaus anymore; despite the fact that the BBC and RT News manage to do both on much smaller budgets. So instead of informing the public of geopolitical developments, we get on-air breakdowns like this.

     Thanks also to the Corporate Media, few Americans have any idea just what a foreign-policy disaster Obama created in Asia. The situation that Obama inherited from Bush and the one that Trump inherited from Obama are radically different. When Bush left office in 2009, the US was the undisputed power in the Pacific. Today, China has the upper hand; with Russia and Japan rapidly closing in on our 2nd-place position. Bush had brought North Korea to the negotiating table; Obama tried to force regime-change there and ended up causing it in South Korea instead. And we're just talking about North Pacific disasters here; Trump still has to deal with the South Pacific where Obama made matters even worse.

     The Trump Administration, though, can bring American power and prestige back to the Pacific, but the situation isn't going to turn around overnight. Tillerson's challenge is going to be to assess the situation and offer the countries he's visiting a new deal. President Trump has spoken of a rising confidence and optimism in America; this is what his Administration needs to impart to Asia if the US is going to be a global partner there. Each area has some unique issues.

       JAPAN: Tillerson's first stop is Tokyo. Obama's mismanagement of policy with Japan has led to a resurgence there of neo-Fascist Imperialism and militarism. Japan's female Defense Minister---an admitted Nazi sympathizer---boasted yesterday that the Japanese Empire now has the world's 6th largest military. Japan is also suspected of supporting terrorist movements abroad; and human rights have eroded during the last eight years. The government is extending political tenures and press censorship will increasing unaccountable spying and police powers.

        Pro: The US still has considerable economic and military leverage over Japan.

        Con: The Far Right is increasingly entrenched in power and the opposition parties are deeply anti-American.

          Challenge: Tillerson is going to have to put his foot down on the Japanese leadership and remind them that the post-WW2 paradigms are still in effect. Okinawa is another problem he's going to have to address. A good solution may be to set up a summit between American, Japanese, and Okinawan leaders to address the ongoing problems around the US base there.

          KOREA: Tillerson next goes to Seoul where he'll be obliged to meet with an Interim Government; the president whom Obama supported having been forcibly ejected from office last week after impeachment trials. To say that Obama left the Korean Peninsula in a mess is an understatement.

          Pro: (NK) Most of North Korea's militaristic posturing is bluff; the country is much weaker and more willing to negotiate than its leadership lets on.
                   (SK)  America still has some economic and military leverage over South Korea.

          Con: Neither side likes nor trusts the US very much.

           Challenge: About the best that Tillerson can hope for here is not to make matters any worse. He should offer support to the new South Korean and maybe win some support by encouraging them to 'drain the swamp' as well. As to North Korea, he needs to abandon the hardline Obama approach and try a more 'carrot-and-stick' model. President Kim has said on many occasions that he respects (and probably fears) Trump, so he may be more willing to negotiate if offered something in return.

          CHINA: China right now is holding most of the cards, but Trump's main advantage is that President Xi is somewhat more moderate than his predecessors. Xi also has a personality and temperament very similar to Trump's: both are nationalistic but both are business-oriented people.

           Pro: Obama's downfall in Asia was so sudden and so complete that China was largely caught unprepared---especially militarily---to capitalize fully on their windfall.

            Con: China has been expending considerable energy during the American transition of power to correct the deficiency above. China is also a one-party state and Xi's main opposition are neo-Maoist hardliners.

            Challenge: Tillerson is going to have negotiate from a position of weakness; but needs to impress on China that cooperation and not competitiveness is mutually beneficial to both countries. The long-term goal here will be to lock China into fairer and greater trade deals---and possibly joint military cooperation that will reduce the hardline-faction's influence. De-militarizing the region can free up resources that both countries desperately need.

        In short, undoing the disastrous Asian Pivot is a long-term problem, but not insolvable. All of Trump's vaunted negotiating skills and Tillerson's business acumen are going to have to brought into play to fix the damage alone. The key here is not follow Obama's course in any way, shape, or form. A period of peace and free trade is what the Pacific Rim needs most of all.

JAPAN MOVES CLOSER TO DICTATORSHIP

   While the US Corporate Media Establishment was busy witch-hunting Trump's Cabinet and doing damage-control over (further) Obama spying allegations; the Japanese Empire's ruling party held its convention in Tokyo this weekend. A troubling development that came out of this meeting was that term-limit provisions were extended and de facto repealed. This means that current Prime Minister Shinzo Abe---whose power has been extended all through his tenure---will not have to step down in 2018.

     The Abe Administration has seen many such disturbing trends, highly reminiscent of pre-WW2 politics. There has been increasing press censorship since 2012, with corresponding militarism and nationalism promoted through the public school. Under Abe, the Empire has vastly expanded military spending including the development of a new Stealth-fighter. This aircraft was displayed last Autumn at an airshow ominously also displaying restored WW2-era Japanese Zeroes.

     The Party Congress also pledged constitutional reform including repealing Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution which renounces aggressive war. Indeed, Abe has deployed Japanese Naval Forces well beyond the country's territorial waters and pursued a highly interventionist foreign policy. The Japanese Empire has never apologized formally for WW2 atrocities, nor have they officially given up territorial claims of land ceded in 1945. They have cracked down further on Okinawa and pressed demands for the strategic Kuril and Daiyou Islands. They still consider Sakhalin as part of Japan; and most of their interventions have been in former Japanese-held territories especially Korea, Taiwan, and Indochina.

     There are many in the US who believe that a strong Japan is necessary to maintain a strong balance of power in the Pacific; but history proves otherwise. A militarized Japan is as great a threat to regional stability today as it was during the 1930s. Japan never underwent the type of post-war reforms that Europe did. They even retained their Emperor, who is worshipped as a god by the Japanese ruling elite. While the top political and military leaders were removed and tried for war crimes, they were replaced---not by opposition leaders as in Europe---but by their underlings. The large corporate monopolies were broken up, but quickly reorganized under new names. In other words, Japan never underwent a democratic reformation like Europe did.

    A resurgent Fascist Japanese Empire is not in the interest of American policy in the Pacific. While it is true that in the 1930s, Japan blocked Russian and Chinese hegemony in the region, they also fought American interests as well---as the events of December 1941 should make abundantly clear. Their goals in the region are not---and never have  been---those of a free country securing the rights of free global trade. Their goal has been to monopolize Asian trade under the aegis of their god-emperor.

    A better course of action for the US to pursue is abandon the Pax Americana notions of the last four Administrations and pursue a trilateral power-sharing course in the Pacific with the other two great powers: Russia and China. A NATO-type alliance between these three powers would ensure a degree of security and free trade for the entire region.

     But Japan is heavily financially invested in Wall Street, US political PACs and the Corporate Media; so opposition to such a policies would be strong. It will be an interesting foreign policy test for the Trump Administration to see where the US will go in the Pacific---as a partner or an aggressor.

BLACK FRIDAY IN CHINA

     To sensible Americans, the day after Thanksgiving is a time to relax with family, eat Thanksgiving leftovers and catch a few good movies like we feature here on Fridays. But to a certain element---caught between the Holiday stress and end-of-the-month drug shortages---Black Friday is a 24-hour spree of unleashed greed and unofficial rioting: typically accompanied by multiple fatalities. The same types who turn out in the streets after elections, police shootings, and major sporting events rampage through department stores while the rest of us are forced to blush with shame while reading foreign commentary on such events.

     One shopping mall in China, however, suffered a milder---though more amusing---scandal on Friday. The Shenyang Mall opened an exhibit displaying life-sized three world leaders: Vladimir Putin, Barack Obama, and Japanese President Shinzo Abe. The display had to be removed after official complaints from the Japanese Empire and threatened boycotts from Japanese tourist bureaus. The display in question looked like this:

        Ambassadors for the Imperial Government and Japanese media objected strongly to their president being depicted wearing a short Hitler-style moustache while bowing to Obama. The mural behind the Abe figure commemorates the September 18th Incident, a false-flag operation ordered by the current Japanese Emperor's father in 1931 as a pretext for invading China.

         The owners of Shenyang Mall confirmed to The Global Times, China's official ruling-party news service, that the display had been removed on Friday. A spokesman for the consortium stated to the press that the Empire had over-reacted; that an electrical malfunction caused the Abe figure to stoop; an employee added the moustache to disguise its features; and that the figure was only placed in this position temporarily until it could be repaired. The spokesman added that the figures were made by a local artist and displayed to "enrich our customers' shopping experience."

        The Japanese Empire seemed unconvinced by this explanation, but were satisfied that the figures were removed. Japan has never formally apologized for, or even acknowledged, the September 18th Incident---nor for any of their other war crimes and crimes against humanity in China.

        Tensions have been high again recently between China and Imperial Japan; especially in the wake of the collapse of Obama's TPP and 'Asian Pivot' policies. Japan is also uneasy about President-Elect Trump's proposal to make Japan pay for US military bases, which has incidentally given hope to the Okinawan Independence movement. Obama's blunders and Trump's election have caused some instability in Asian financial markets, and Japan has been especially stressed. The Japanese Yen has devalued against the US Dollar at five times the rate of the Chinese Yuan. The Yuan is a gold-backed currency, unlike the Yen and Dollar.

      There have also been positive signs that Trump intends to scale back some of his hardline campaign rhetoric against China and seek a more cooperative path with that country. Appointing Mitt Romney to Secretary of State would be a solid and positive move in that direction. Romney has a good relationship with the Chinese and understands their economy.

     The Japanese, though, who are heavily invested in the US Corporate Media, have been waging an anti-Romney smear campaign. As usual, too, the bloggers on the Far Right support the Left Wing in opposing Romney's nomination. Wall Street and the Corporate Media hate China. The American Far Right admires Fascist Japan: just observe how many Far-Right bloggers refer to Trump as a "God-Emperor ascending the Cherry-Blossom Throne" and other such schmaltz, as though they wish Trump to be a new Hirohito.

    Cooler heads need to prevail here. Our China Policy needs a cool head like Romney's. Trump needs to be guided by pragmatic advice in the US interest and not the advice of Soros/Podesta cronies on Wall Street or the Vox Day/Andrew Anglin Fascist-worshippers in the Manosphere.  

OKINAWA NEARS THE BREAKING POINT

     Citizens of the tiny island of Okinawa, a colonial possession of the Japanese Empire and home to a US military base, are in a near state of open revolt. A combination of Obama's treachery and the Empire's arrogance has strained relations with the West in this normally tranquil Pacific island.

       Okinawa was an independent country until 1879 when it was annexed by Japan. It was captured by US forces in 1945 and was an American overseas territory until 1972. As part of an economic deal with the Empire, the Nixon Administration returned Okinawa to Japan in exchange for keeping the US military base there as security against then-Maoist China. There were no major problems there until the post-Reagan Era. Clinton's military purges and introducing social progressivism into the military; Bush's outsourcing to civilian defense contractors; and Obama's overt Cultural Marxist transition of the military have made our brave men and women in uniform far below the traditional standards we once expected of our personnel.

       The problems opened in the mid-1990s when US Marines gang-raped a 12 year old girl, and the crime wave has been going on unabated ever since. US military personnel account for the overwhelming majority of Okinawa's violent crimes. Worse still have been recent revelations that Pentagon officials openly despise the Okinawan people as inferiors and its political leaders as its subjects.

       In a supposedly conciliatory move, Obama agreed last month to repatriate 16 square miles of unused military land to Okinawa and the Tojos agreed to send special police units to maintain order. But Obama, to whom treachery is second nature, secretly agreed with the Empire to construct a new helicopter base near a small village in an ecologically sensitive area. The Japanese agreed to the plan on the condition that the US hire Japanese contractors for the construction. Both governments well knew that the Okinawans opposed the plan, as it had been previously floated and rejected by the Okinawan government.

      Okinawans turned out en masse to protest the construction, but the Japanese special police have turned on the Okinawans---under the pretext that they are protecting Japanese construction interests.

       "It feels like martial law has been declared here." a protestor stated to the press. "There are large numbers of Japanese police and they often act violently."

       But because of the Japanese Empire's huge financial holdings in the US and their influence with Corporate Media, Japan escapes the types of scrutiny other nations receive in terms of human-rights violations.

       The Okinawan independence movement is growing, and deserves the support of freedom-loving peoples everywhere. US policy on the island during the last 30 years has been a national disgrace. Colluding first with the Fascist government in Tokyo; then covering up for Pentagon criminals and treating the citizenry like they lived in penal colony is a blot---one of many---on Postmodern America. We came to Okinawa as liberators, and for decades brought peace and prosperity to the island. But our culture changed here and is now having an adverse effect on an innocent people.

        

      

THE SIX-O'CLOCK FOLLIES

    Things aren't looking well these days for America's LGBTQ-friendly military. The Pentagon is facing a number of embarrassing situations this week; although they still have yet to resolve the minor problem of 90 US atomic warheads sitting in hostile Turkish territory. That story has fallen from the Corporate Media's sphere of interest; with the Prozac Nation finding more substance in stories about a basketball player who claims to have broken his penis three times.

      The Navy announced today that it would seek disciplinary action against Lt. David Narker. Narker commanded the patrol ships captured by Iran in January; and whose poltroonery in front of that country's armed forces made the US Navy an international laughing stock. Narker is the third officer to be disgraced in the aftermath of that debacle.

       The Pentagon and the Corporate Media are desperately trying to spin the story to scapegoat Iran, with some spurious claims that the Iranians somehow violated international law. However, when a heavily-armed ship enters foreign territorial waters and the crew immediately surrenders, falls on its knees and starts crying for mercy, it is difficult to imagine another course of action that Iran could have taken.

        The Pentagon was also obliged this week to revise---for the first time in decades---its dietary standards. It seems that the national obesity problem is effecting our brave men and women in uniform as well. Lowering the fitness standards to accommodate homosexuals and women seem to be having a negative effect.

            Army Sergeant Major John Troxell, once again displaying the intellectual acumen of today's military leadership said to the press: "This problem gives us a potential liability on the battlefield. The minute we lose that competitive advantage in combat because our enemies are training harder than we are, we'll have more problems than we have right now."

             Really? Who would have imagined that better-trained and more physically fit soldiers actually performed better in combat? The new standards, however, are still being debated. There seems to be some controversy among more politically-correct Pentagon officials relating to fat acceptance and self-esteem issues over negative body images.

              And another scandal has also arisen on the beleaguered island of Okinawa. Following further anti-US protests, which have delayed the construction of some helicopter landing pads, the post-BREXIT British government disclosed that the Pentagon illegally used the Okinawa Base to train British military personnel in 2015. This was in direct violation of the 1960 treaty with Japanese Empire, that specifically prohibits third-party nations from employing the Okinawan base. This was especially egregious since it appears that nobody in the Obama Administration bothered to ask Japanese permission first.

            Okinawan authorities immediately demanded that the Pentagon confess to which other countries the base has illegally granted access. Considering Obama's proclivity for training proxy forces on US bases, the Okinawans' concern is a legitimate one. US military personnel and civilian contractors account for most of Okinawa's crime rate.

            The American people need immediately to start demanding some kind of action; because it is becoming increasing obvious that---despite its technological advantages---our military is absolutely no condition either to fight wars abroad or maintain peace at home. Political Correctness and Cultural Marxism is rotting the military from the inside out; just as it has our schools and media. Unfortunately, the passivity of the average Ameroboob will allow our military to decline, just as it has allowed most other institutions to decline.

OBAMA'S ASIAN PIVOT BACKFIRES ON JAPAN

     The Japanese Government, already exasperated by a series of American political and military blunders, was obliged to deal with more bad news on Sunday. The first incident came from the big mouth of US Vice-President Biden.

       Biden boasted in an interview with PBS that he had put some rather arrogant demands on Chinese President Xi Jinping (although he never specified when this alleged meeting occurred). Biden basically demanded that China either put pressure on North Korea or the US would put advanced THAAD missiles in South Korea, which of course are also in range of China. Biden then went on to threaten China with the possibility that the Tojos might retaliate too, with atomic weapons.

       "What will you do? Do you think we should stand back?" Biden allegedly demanded of Xi, "What happens if we don't work something out about North Korea? What happens if Japan, who could tomorrow, go nuclear tomorrow? They have the capacity to do it literally overnight!"

          The Imperial Government, who are in the middle of high-level diplomatic meetings with China over the Korean situation, exploded with fury. China well remembers, unlike the US, that Akihito's father bombed Pearl Harbor in the middle of peace talks. The Japanese leadership immediately denounced Biden's remarks, stressing that Japan has not, and never will, seek to deploy atomic weapons.

          Xi Jinping made no statement about the remarks, but appeared this weekend with Russian President Putin, who is in China this week on a state visit. The two leaders announced signing a new series of enhanced military, economic, and scientific cooperation.

            "As both Mr. Putin and Mr. Xi Jinping have said, the deployment of the Aegis Missile System in Poland and Romania, as well as the THAAD Missile System being deployed in Korea and missiles being deployed in Japan and elsewhere constitute a mutual danger for the two countries." said a Sputnik News Analyst, "We are looking ultimately at the vast majority of the world pulling together to create an alternative to the self-destructive and globally-destructive policies pursued by interests in Washington."

              As if this wasn't enough, yet another violent crime involving our brave men and women in uniform occurred on Okinawa---just days after the Pentagon promised a crackdown. In fact, this latest incident was almost a carbon-copy of the last crime. It seems that another female in uniform---with 4x the legal limit of alcohol in her veins---plowed her car into oncoming traffic, critically injuring two Okinawan citizens. No word from the Pentagon yet about what reforms they will take this time.

               At some point, Japan is going to have to start questioning whether having the US as an ally is worse than having them as an enemy. Maybe that process has begun: Tokyo recently announced a series of diplomatic reconciliations with Russia, and a meeting between President Putin and Prime Minister Abe scheduled to take place in September.

The New Powers in the Pacific

 

PENTAGON CANCELS 4TH OF JULY FESTIVITIES

     While the American media foments hysteria over a referendum in a country in which they don't reside, and Congress engages in a ridiculous sit-in (as though Congressmen sitting around doing nothing is something extraordinary); the Pentagon is suffering yet another humiliation in the Pacific. The Pentagon announced that under pressure from the Japanese Government, all public Independence Day celebrations are forbidden on US military bases under Japanese jurisdiction.

       A shamefaced Pentagon spokesman reported to the press that "no US installations in Japan will celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks displays or concerts to demonstrate respect for Okinawan residents."

       Both the Pentagon and Japanese authorities are struggling to contain an out-of-control crime wave on Okinawa, most of which is traceable to US military personnel,  and exacerbated by the Pentagon's cavalier attitude toward these crimes. An investigative report published by the Japan Times gives us an insight into the Pentagon's attitudes. The text of the Okinawa Cultural Awareness Program---part of the USMC's diversity and sensitivity training seminar program---has these interesting excerpts:

         "We Marines can get carried away with the new-found awe the Okinawans hold us, and tend to go overboard by doing things that are not acceptable to the majority in their society."

          "We Marines see ourselves as good guys, but many Okinawans do not feel safe because of a few past incidents."

            "The Okinawan tends to be more emotional than logical. Self-serving and double-standards characterize their complaints, along with failure to take responsibility and a 'pass-the-buck' attitude. They believe that it pays to complain. Any time offense can be taken it will be used."

            Again, an outstanding specimen of American Leftist projection. Dr. Manubu Sato, of Okinawa International University agrees: "These lectures teach Marines two things: that they are above the law and that they can look down on Okinawans." And Okinawa's governor Takeshi Onaga added: "A prime example of the US military's arrogant attitude towards Okinawans."

              The Japanese Empire earlier this week dispatched special police to Okinawa to patrol the perimeters of the base at night. And though the 4th of July might be cancelled on Okinawa, USA Today is reporting that sources inside the Pentagon believe that the long-standing military ban on transgenders might be lifted this week. "The end of the service ban may come down as early as July 1st, just before the start of the 4th of July holiday!" the paper trumpeted.

             Now the Okinawans can be despised by both perverts and criminal thugs.

             Has Okinawa had enough of American Exceptionalism yet? The latest polls show about 20% of Okinawans favor independence, up from 5% in 2014.

              
            


            

      

OKINAWA MOVES CLOSER TO FREEDOM

      On Sunday, one of the largest mass-demonstrations to date took place on Okinawa. An estimated 65,000 Okinawan citizens rallied in the capital city of Naha demanding that the US base there be closed.

       The Pentagon's policies of redefining the soldier and deconstructing masculinity in the military---a process ongoing since the 1990s---has led naturally to substandard recruitment policies, poor leadership, and undisciplined and unprofessional personnel. The US military has suffered an ongoing problem with criminal behavior among the troops. This problem likewise has been exacerbated by the increasing policies of outsourcing military functions to shady private contractors. Okinawa has been hit especially hard by the effects of these policies. Okinawa is far removed from frontline military theaters; hence it tends to draw the types of personnel who, for whatever reason, are not top quality, even by the Pentagon's nonexistent standards.

        Much to the mortification of the Imperial Japanese government, Okinawan Governor Takeshi Onaga was among the speakers at the rally and demanded that Tokyo remove the base, to the applause of the crowd. Onaga also denounced the treacherous legal chicanery the Pentagon routinely employs to evade its obligations under the 1960 Status of Forces Agreement. By the rules of SOFA, US Military Law is applied to servicemen in Japan. But 1960, the Pentagon's premises were to see justice done to the satisfaction of the Japanese; today, like most the rest of the US legal system, it exploits legal loopholes to protect the criminal element.

          The situation in Okinawa is becoming a major problem for the Japanese Empire---at time when it is reasserting itself as a militaristic power. There is a small, but determined move for Okinawan independence brewing and the discontent in Okinawa is spilling over into the Japanese population at large. Last week, 10,000 protestors turned out in Tokyo to denounce visiting Pentagon chief, Ash Carter. Even more to the point, a resolution read in Naha on Sunday stated that the situation 'had become intolerable'. By some estimates, US personnel are responsible for nearly 90% of the crimes committed on the island.

            Okinawa is situated in the Ryukyu Island Chain between Japan and Taiwan; and the volatile situation has drawn China's attention as a regional security issue. Hua Chunying, at a Chinese Foreign Ministry press briefing noted today that the bilateral agreement between the US and Japan "should not target third parties."

             "There needs to be a serious discussion about how US presence on Okinawa serves the interests of the countries and peoples in the region." Hua said.

               Kantoku Teruya, a member of the Okinawan Parliament agrees. In an interview with Xinhua news, Teruya said that Okinawans are becoming increasingly incensed at the increasing crime, noise, and pollution emanating from the base, and with Tokyo's ongoing toadying to Washington.

                "The two governments view Okinawa as their military colony" Teruya said, "And they uphold the rights of the US military over the rights of the Okinawan people and ignore the burdens the base puts on the island. For generations, the Japanese government has bowed to the United States while treating the Okinawan people as inferiors."

                Matters may thus be reaching a point where Chinese diplomatic pressure may be required to bring the Okinawan people's plight to world attention. At any rate, the Imperial government is in a difficult situation. Their expansionist plans obviously cannot tolerate a colonial uprising; but closing the base is not an option either. After a series of military humiliations in the South China Sea, the Pentagon is not likely to relish the thought of being forced off a tiny island a few miles off the Chinese Coast. A plausible solution might be to relieve the American officers and replace them with Japanese ones: their army at least knows how to maintain discipline. But the Pentagon is not likely to welcome that kind of diversity in their ranks.

                   The ideal course though would be for Okinawa to begin a serious move for independence. As a sovereign state, it would have control over its own military, foreign policy, and its own law enforcement. Okinawa was once an independent country until forcibly annexed by the Japanese Empire in 1879. It was occupied by the US after WW2 from 1945-1972; and since returned to the Empire in exchange for operating a US base there. US-Okinawan relations were generally good until the 1990s, when our military itself began to decline.

                 An independent Okinawa has considerable economic potential as well. Though a tiny island, its tropical location makes it a viable tourist location; it's geographic location is ideal for a financial/commercial hub. There is some port potential as well. At any rate, it would do much better than now; as all peoples do when they claim their freedom.

THE BELTWAY: MAKING THE WORLD SAFE FOR CULTURAL MARXISM

        Doubtless mortified by Syria's recent suppression of several Jihadist drug-smuggling and sex-trafficking rings, a few dozen outraged employees of the US State Department urged John Kerry to consider military action against the Assad government. Kerry has yet to comment on the proposal, which was an internal memo leaked to the press. Considering that this happened during the same week that a CIA torture report was leaked and the DNC database was hacked; Kerry might be inclined to consider strengthening the Beltway's own security before getting involved in Syria's.

         For example, if the US actually had competent officials in the State Department they would realize that Assad's forces are part of an Alliance, and attacking them will also attack roughly five other countries. These include Russia, China, and Iran---people who might take an unfavorable view of the Pentagon dropping bombs on their citizenry.

           Kerry might also have considered that the Pentagon's current state of readiness might not be quite up for WW3. The Pentagon this week had to beg Congress to allow them to import more Russian-made rocket engines, for example. It must be rather galling for Pentagon commanders---putting on these grand military demonstrations in front of Russia and China---knowing that imports from these countries keep our military supplied.

             As if this wasn't enough, a representative of the US Diversity Air Force was forced shamefacedly to confess to the press that, alas, the rumors were true. The USAF had indeed lost 12 years' worth of intelligence and security data.

             "Hopefully we'll be able to get this data recovered and there won't be a long-term impact" said General Mark Welch, "We must learn what happened, how it happened, and keep it from happening again."

               And hopefully Obama won't start WW3, if our lives depend on intellects like General Welch. Doesn't an average 12 year-old with his first computer know enough to backup his files? But remember that this is the same Pentagon who outsources software technology to China and India, then has no idea why their systems keep getting hacked.

               Meanwhile, on the troubled island of Okinawa, the Pentagon has decided that after a grueling 11 days of alcohol prohibition and curfews, our brave men and women in uniform have suffered enough and the temporary restrictions would be removed. (Translation: the restrictions were cutting into defense contractors' profit margins). Other than a DUI with critical injuries and a few assaults and robberies, the personnel stationed on Okinawa behaved themselves during this harrowing ordeal. Besides, the Tojos have deployed extra police to the island, so our forces can emerge from their safe spaces just in time for weekend festivities. Which hopefully won't result in any Okinawan casualties.

                 

               

OBAMA EATS CROW AS ASIAN PIVOT FALLS FLAT

      Following a series of mass-protests in Tokyo, the Japanese Empire has deployed a special police unit to Okinawa. The protests were in reaction to a series of violent and property crimes, extending back several years, involving US military personnel and Pentagon defense contractors.

       The special police are to be deployed to patrol the perimeters of the US Okinawa base after dark, after a self-imposed base curfew proved ineffectual. The protests were a major embarrassment for Washington and Tokyo, coinciding as they did with visits from Obama and Ash Carter. Washington hoped to intimidate China with a show of military solidarity. However, posing as defenders of Japan while the Japanese are forced to defend themselves against the defenders no doubt appeared rather comical to Chinese authorities.

        These recent humiliations naturally haven't stopped Obama and Akihito from engaging some military demonstrations. Yesterday, the Pentagon dispatched a squadron of fighters to their other Coalition partner, The Philippines. This caused another embarrassment when Facebook and some other US media outlets erroneously reported that The Philippines and China were at war. Oops...

        Facebook did however retract their icons advertising their solidarity with The Philippines and issued an apology. Still, it seems rather troubling that they had such advertisements evidently already prepared.

          The Air Force followed China's demands that the US desist from spy and military aviation in the region. US spy planes have not only provoked military confrontations, they have nearly collided with civilian airliners three times in the last month alone. The continued provocations from the Pentagon led Chinese Admiral Sun Jiangou to issue a recent press statement:

          "We do not make trouble, but we have no fear of troublemakers." Admiral Sun stated. "China will not support any decision made unilaterally by the UN Arbitration Court, nor allow any infringements of its sovereignty and security interests, nor stay indifferent to the irresponsible behavior of some countries operating in or around the South China Sea."

          Admiral Sun's vow was carried out this morning. Joint naval exercises between the US, Imperial Japan, and India have been encroaching closer and closer to the disputed waterways. The Chinese Navy is patrolling the area now and threw a scare into the commander of the USS Stennis. A visibly nervous Captain Gregory Huffman stated to the press that "there is a Chinese vessel 7-10 miles away," he stated, adding that Chinese ship had been following the Stennis since it passed through the South China Sea. Two weeks ago, the Stennis was refused entry into Hong Kong and chased away by Chinese patrol boats.

          It seems obvious to everyone outside of the Beltway that Obama's so-called Pivot in Asia has fallen flat. American weakness is becoming increasingly apparent, and all of these military theatrics are bringing that weakness into bold relief. A recent poll conducted by an Australian university of citizens in the five largest Pacific Rim nations show a decided lack of confidence in US leadership in that region. 82% of Chinese; 80% of Australians; 77% of South Koreans; 68% of Indonesians; and 61% of Japanese surveyed believe that the days of US Pacific dominance has passed.

         It all represents a sad turning-point in US history. From the 1890s to the 1990s, the US was the unquestioned defender of freedom and free trade in the Pacific. But since the 1990s, a combination of Wall Street greed and Ameroboob indifference and exceptionalist hubris has allowed China to wedge us out and assume the leadership role in the Pacific. That process will continue for the foreseeable future. The Chinese Century is dawning over the Pacific while the Prozac Nation can do little more than impotently wave its fists in outrage.

               

            

OKINAWA REDUX

       When the Okinawan Legislature opens for business on Monday morning, things are bound to get lively. After a Pentagon crackdown on its obviously discipline-challenged personnel and assurances from Tokyo that the situation was under control, a few more Okinawans wound up in the hospital Saturday due to the actions of one of our brave men and women in uniform. Again.

      It seems that US Navy sailor Aimee Meija was driving while intoxicated in the wrong lane and crashed head-on with another vehicle. Her blood-alcohol level was six times the legal limit. Two passengers in the other vehicle sustained serious injuries. Ms. Aimee, evidently a product of the Pentagon's demasculinization program proved at least that, by the standards of today's military, women really are the equals of men.

      Considering that Okinawa's legislature only a few days ago presented Tokyo a formal demand to evict the Pentagon from their shores, this latest incident is liable to strengthen their resolve and fuel the movement for Okinawan Independence even more. General Nakatani, the Empire's Defense Minister, issued the usual regrets and filed the usual complaints, and an emergency meeting was held by Imperial and American diplomats. But these repeated incidences of military misconduct are putting the Japanese Empire into an increasingly delicate position.

        Tokyo is being pushed into a position where they can no longer ignore the problem. Okinawans are not going to accept the Empire's excuses that the US military is occupying their island for the Okinawan's own good. On the other hand, once it has planted the Rainbow Flag and brought the gospel of Cultural Marxism to a people, the Pentagon strongly objects to being told that the populace doesn't want them.

         But pragmatically, the Japanese Empire's most prudent course would be to cede to Okinawan demands and close the base. Otherwise, if the Okinawan people begin to push for independence in earnest, Japan is going to find itself in an even more precarious position. The Pentagon has no shortage of Far Eastern bases, especially now that Obama's good friend The Punisher is in control of the Philippines.

        Optimally, though, Okinawans will move forward with independence regardless. Too long these people have been the expendable pawns in international chess-games. Tokyo does not have the Okinawans' best interests at heart and neither does Washington. Okinawa would be a prime area for developing a tourist, fishing, or financial industry if left to its own devices. Most importantly, Okinawa deserves the right of self-government.

         That will not happen so long as the Japanese government considers Okinawans their inferiors and a subjugated people; nor as long the Pentagon uses the island as a cash cow.

OKINAWA DEMANDS END TO PENTAGON CRIME WAVE

       The 50,000 LGBTQ-friendly American Marines stationed on Okinawa spent the Memorial Day weekend under a 10 PM curfew with strict limitations on alcohol. This clampdown followed the Okinawan Legislature's formal demand upon the Japanese Imperial government that the base be closed and the Marines ejected from the island.

         The Okinawan people are fed up with out-of-control crime perpetrated by the American military. The latest incident being yet another rape and murder of an Okinawan girl; shortly preceded by a sailor's confession to forcible rape of a Japanese woman.

          "On Okinawa, many are protesting the US bases; not just for their presence there, but for the amount of crime constantly surrounding them." one protestor told the press "They get with these crimes because of a legal loophole preventing Okinawan authorities access to the base."

             According to Okinawan Police forces, US military personnel have been linked to 26 murders, 129 rapes, 394 robberies and arsons since joint US-Japanese rule was established on the island in 1972. With predictable political cynicism, Obama seems unlikely to move the base. Journalist Daniel Lazare noted:

               "Notwithstanding the wishes of the Japanese people, the bigger picture to Washington and Tokyo is simply China. The US is busy remilitarizing the Western Pacific, trying to line up support from various Pacific Rim countries to create a grand concert of anti-Chinese powers, and clearly Okinawa is a major part of that process."

                 It is to be hoped that these evasions will help spur on the Okinawan independence movement.

                 Now the American Media Cartels---a significant number of which have financial interests both in Pentagon defense contractors and the Japanese Empire's corporate structure, have been downplaying these incidents and trying desperately to portray Okinawan leaders as anti-American extremists. But as we have pointed out before, Okinawa is not a unique problem. The problem is simply that our military personnel of today are substandard---due to politically-correct social engineering, poor public schools, lowered recruitment and training standards, and a military culture that is openly hostile towards both masculinity and spirituality. When a military looks like this it should not be surprising that professional soldiers would not serve in it.

                  Thus, the problem is not unique to Okinawa. Recent headlines include:

       This is one month's worth of military mayhem. Maybe it's time that the American public started facing a few facts. The foremost fact being that our military is in a deep state of advanced decline and is no position to defend the United States or anybody else. Pundits, especially those on the political right, would have us believe that our military is handicapped by a few social engineers in the Pentagon. Not so. The military is the product of the culture that made it. Like it or not, the military of today looks like America and always has reflected the culture that comprised it. If Americans don't like what they see, they need to look in the mirror to find the ones responsible for it.  

                                                 

WHAT OBAMA WON'T TALK ABOUT IN JAPAN

   Our beloved leader, Barack Obama is on his way to visit the Japanese Empire amidst a series of humiliations for both governments. Obama hasn't bowed to Imperial demands (yet) and apologized for President Truman's decision to win WW2.

   But both leaders are having problems in the region.

   Obama is reeling from a string of recent military humiliations at Chinese hands. Three times in the last month, American naval and air forces have been chased away from Chinese territory, and this morning a US reconnaissance plane nearly collided with an airliner off the coast of Korea. Iraqi forces, now augmented with Chinese military advisors are clearing their country of Jihadist forces while the Pentagon can't even get permission to do photo-ops in Iraq anymore.

   Akihito and his camarilla aren't faring much better. Their censorship of the Japanese press has been internationally exposed, as well as their cover-ups of the damage caused by the Fukishima nuclear disaster. And their hopes of building a united coalition against China were thwarted when Thailand agreed to sign a mutual defense pact with China.

     As if these things weren't bad enough, yet another crisis broke out in Okinawa. Okinawa is a country jointly occupied by Imperial Japan and the United States; the former ruling its civil government and the latter maintaining a large military base there. Last weekend, a US defense contractor was arrested for the rape and murder of a 20 year-old Okinawan girl---stories which are not uncommon there---leading for further calls for the US to leave the island and for Okinawan independence.

       Protestors swarmed around the US base last weekend and the Pentagon commander there, one Lawrence Nicholson, laconically offered his heartfelt prayers and condolences to the outraged Okinawan populace.

      When one considers that America's frontline brave men and women in uniform break out in tears in front of the Iranian Coast Guard, or that US Army officers like Major Nidal Hasan go berserk and shoot up military bases, it is not difficult to imagine what sorts of dregs get stationed in a backwater base like Okinawa.

       A similar incident occurred just two months earlier when a US sailor was arrested for the rape of a Japanese girl in a Naha hotel. The most infamous incident occurred in 1995, when some of the few, the proud, the Marines gang-raped a 12 year-old.

      Since 1972, when joint US-Japanese occupation of Okinawa was ratified, there have been 26 murders, 129 rapes, 394 burglaries, and 25 arsons linked to American military personnel, according to Okinawan authorities.

      Catherine Fisher, an Australian journalist who was raped by an American defense contractor in 2002, was among the protestors.

       "They need to stop trying to cover up these cases." Fisher said "And each time it happens, the US military and the Japanese government say, 'we will make sure this never happens again'. But it just keeps happening."

       Okinawans have also been protesting a proposal to move the US base to an ecologically sensitive part of the island and to force Okinawans to pay for the project. With nearly 90% of Okinawans against the base relocation plan, the governor was forced to order its temporary suspension.

        With the Empire suppressing Japanese media and its deep financial connections within the American press, very little news is forthcoming from this troubled island. Yet there is a growing independence movement among the Okinawan people, though split by different political aims. Yet it is to be hoped that Okinawans can find the unity to throw off the Western yoke and forge their own way in freedom.
