The Red Pill Game Cult, which has co-opted much of the Manosphere and making a determined attempt to insinuate itself into American Christendom and Conservatism, has a heavy presence in the so-called Alt-Right. One of the leaders of the cult, who writes under the name of Chateau Heartiste wrote a commentary of sorts on another article from an Alt-Right site. Heartiste proclaimed this article a work of genius for its explanation of why Donald Trump is among the greatest of American heroes:
"Trump is the emblem of the shiv-right revolution, a reification of genuine hope and change. But the man himself is more than a talisman or mystical avatar to propel and strengthen the righteous rebel alliance against the anti-White Empire."
As of evidence of this, Heartiste reproduces in its entirety an article from MPC "which explains in clear, blunt language why Trump deserves to be considered a great man." We are only going to comment on a few excerpts from this intolerably tedious farrago, anyone who cares to may see the full text elsewhere. But it is deeply illustrative of the philosophy and general thought processes of Red Pill political and social thinking. When we see, for example the author's avatar:
we can likely guess where the argument is going. And the preamble gives us a specimen of the intellectual capacity behind it:
"This got long and rambling. Worst of all for MPC, it got sincere. Real as f---, yo. But hell with it: For all its Vox Day-ness, 'SWJs always lie' is damn good stuff. Never apologize. Never surrender. Especially never surrender the narrative."
Following this auspicious beginning, which essentially translates into: 'Don't believe anything unless we tell you to', he goes on to compare The Donald to Washington, Roosevelt, and Reagan. The gist of his argument seems to be that Trump is making some heroic sacrifice by running for president.
"I have not a word of criticism." he fanatically states, "Every scandal faded when he ignored it. The entire media elite on both sides has held him only to a tight race...Be as Alpha as you like, be as silver-tongued and fearless as you like. Any one of is---anybody else---would have long since broken. It's been a year and a half and every day from every side, Trump has been under unremitting, vicious, and downright depraved attack."
This excerpt, along with many in the article like it, show the pedestalization of the Alpha Male in which the Manospherians reflexively engage. It also happens not to be true. Trump has been in the media spotlight for nearly 40 years. The author rhapsodizes further:
"There's no reason in hell to do this. For all the s---lib conspiracy theories, he has the favors, the connections to get out of any supposed debt or legal tangle. He's been good friends with the Clintons, the Bushes, the Kennedys, and a dozen others. His name, his family, his company, his legacy, his health, his pride, his history, his life---both his literal and social life---all thrown on the altar."
To a less obsequious mind, these things might indicate instead that Trump may not quite be the 'outsider' he claims to be. But to this type of infatuation, there's no other explanation because, according to Game, the Alphas are always above reproach in their motives. That is, even when:
"I don't care if he ain't couth. I don't care if he had every wife in Christendom, or missteps ten or ten thousand times, or doesn't hand me everything I want on a silver platter."
Because the mark of the Alpha is not to care about his character---only his image. To this mindset, character counts for nothing---success and power count for everything. We see here what the Game Cult affinity for Trump really amounts to: Trump is a man who knows how to game the system. It's not really about personal sacrifice as Heartiste and the author suggests. They admire Trump because he cares nothing for character and principle and is beating the Elites with their own tactics. That's the whole essence of Red Pill philosophy.
And in the middle of all this hero-worship, the author interjects his vision of the national danger from which Trump is saving us:
"A year and a half ago, every c---swinging deplorable was j------ off to Teddy Cruz or ready to suck it up and vote Jeb. So we could get our amnesty with a side of guacamole before we ran to some f----- hideyhole. Maybe let our kids turn ten before the jigs moved in next to the spics. So that we could huddle down and enjoy the decline. Maybe catch a piece or two of blue-haired vagina while the Romes our fathers built rotted and burned."
The preceding excerpt was as deep into the issues of the day as the author ever got. Heartiste and his disciplines were full of effusive applause for this lofty expression of idealism. Whatever else it is, traditional American idealism it is not.
Twenty years ago, GOP candidate Robert Dole had the slogan "Character Matters." Eight years ago, John McCain stressed expressed 'Substance Over Symbolism'. But the Smart Boys laugh in their sleeves at two decorated war heroes because 'character and substance don't win elections.' Tell that to Ronald Reagan---among others.
Elections come and go but ideals are permanent. The Cult of the Superman; the Worship of Success and Force; the attitude of entitlement that the Red Pills/Alt-Right promote---these things have come and gone too; with disastrous results. They don't belong anywhere in the American political landscape except on the fringes where they were once relegated. Let's hope at this point that 2020 will see better options.
The masks are finally coming off in the Middle East. Yesterday, the Beltway unilaterally suspended Syrian peace talks with Russia---peace talks that Obama has never bothered to honor---and has decided "to pursue contingency plans," according to White House spokesman Josh Earnest.
Secretary of State John Kerry, whose duplicity was exposed earlier this week, was quick to blame the Allies. In September, Kerry had falsely accused the Allies of a suspicious attack on a humanitarian aid convoy the day after Coalition jets accidentally attacked a Syrian Army position in Deir Ezzur---inflicting 200 casualties and permitting an ISIS counter-offensive. Yesterday, a US airstrike destroyed five bridges in Deir Ezzur; which according to Syrian generals allowed ISIS to escape across the first while cutting off the army's pursuit.
John Kirby, spokesman for the State Department nonetheless huffed that "Russia failed to live up to its own commitments...and was also unwilling or unable to ensure Syrian regime forces' adherence to the arrangements to which Moscow had agreed." This, the day after Obama's so-called moderate rebels attacked the city of Hama with over 100 GRAD missiles causing a yet unknown number of civilian casualties.
Kirby also stated that the gender-neutral Pentagon would withdraw its 'commandoes'. Turkish President Erdogan however had already done that after US forces' poltroonery in front of the Turkish Army made the Pentagon an international laughing-stock again.
Along with these crimes came the exposure that the Wahhabi CIA chief was covertly arming the Jihadists. The Allied forces have made significant gains in Aleppo in spite of US interference---it could well be that Obama sees the inevitable doom of his Syria Policy and hopes to shift the problem onto the next Administration.
There are many pundits and writers who suggest that US withdrawal from the Syrian Peace Talks is a prelude to some 'October Surprise' or the escalation of American involvement in the Syrian Civil War. This is doubtful given the history and treacherous character of the Obama Administration. As we've seen in Libya, Ukraine, and the South China Sea, this Administration's policy has been to engage in brinkmanship to the point of actual war; but once their bluff has been called, to slink away leaving their 'partners' in the lurch while they themselves 'pivot' somewhere else.
The more likely scenario is that the Syrian Civil War will disappear in the Corporate Media until January, when Obama's successor is sworn in. Syria by then may have already been fully liberated, leaving Russia, Iran, China, and Turkey the dominant powers in Middle East with America's influence there irreparably damaged.
Thus, this move by the White House most probably amounts to a de facto US surrender in Syria---in a war which was never declared, never legally conducted, and came to absolutely nothing after causing scores of thousands of casualties and costing scores of billions of US tax dollars. A fitting climax to the Obama Legacy which has been marked everywhere by offering hope and change and concluding in a cesspool of chaos, bloodshed, poverty, and corruption.
While here in the Prozac Nation we spent another weekend of street riots, football protests, and porn stars fighting with presidential candidates, Pope Francis was busy in the Caucasus republics. In a three-day tour to Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Pontiff met with Orthodox clergy and political leaders; and spoke to issues of concern to the region.
The area has been a problem-spot in the world since the Soros-funded 'Rose Revolution' in 2003. Soros' and ex-Vice President Cheney's intrigues in the country led to a brief war with Russia in 2007. The US subsequently established a naval base there; and ever since Georgia has been a hub of complots for clandestine activities in Turkey, Ukraine, Syria, and elsewhere; as well as a fertile recruiting ground for Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
The Pope spoke out against the two major ideological threats facing the region: degenerate Western Liberalism and Jihadist sectarianism.
At the Church of the Assumption in Tbilisi, the Pope celebrated Mass and received testimonies from among the Georgian populace. After hearing a young wife and mother who expressed fear for her children's future in the declining Georgian moral climate, the Pope said to the audience:
"You mentioned a great enemy of marriage today: gender theory. Today, the whole world is at war trying to destroy marriage. This war isn't being fought with arms but with ideas. There are certain ideologies which destroy marriage, so we must defend ourselves against ideological colonialism."
Pope Francis' last phrase identified the source of the cultural problem in Georgia. Since the Soros coup, US interests have flooded Georgia with American Exceptionalism, such as no-fault divorce, popular ridicule of the traditional family, and social pressure to accept homosexuality.
"Matrimony is the most beautiful thing God created." Francis said, "Since man and woman have been created in God's Image, when the two become one, it reflects His Image."
The Pope went on to discuss the importance of extended families in supporting marriages in crisis. Then, following a testimony from a male seminarian, Pope Francis addressed the rising cult of the Alpha Male promoted by the Alt-Right, noting that is the duty of mothers to educate children in the Faith. To which he adjoined:
"Both Mary and the Church play an essential role as a mother. The Church remains open to all. There are two women whom Christ wanted for all of us, His Mother and His Bride." he noted "The Mother of Christ He left us as Our Mother. The Church is the spouse of Jesus, she is also our mother. With Mary and the Church, we have a sure way of going forward. Here again, we find the woman. It seems like the Lord has a preference, and His preference is to bring the faith forward through women."
On Sunday, the Pope travelled to the neighboring country of Azerbaijan, becoming the first pope in centuries to do so. Azerbaijan is a predominantly Shiite Moslem country, closely allied with Russia and Iran. It has also suffered much from Western intrigues, particularly Jihadist elements inserted into the country. Though a tiny nation, Azerbaijan is geopolitically critical. It occupies the entire space between the Russian and Iranian borders; and thus facilities commercial, military, and anti-terrorist activities between the two Allies.
Speaking before an audience of political leaders and both Orthodox and Islamic clerics, the Pope praised Azerbaijan's commitment to upholding religious freedom. He stressed that the Light of Truth could never be imposed by any artificial means.
"It is the task of every civilized society to support religion which allows a Light to shine through, indispensable for living. In order for this to happen, an effective and authentic freedom must be guaranteed. Artificial forms, which bind people to believe, imposing upon them a determined belief system and depriving them of Free Will can never be used. Neither can the cloak of worldliness or the yearning for power and profit. God cannot be used for personal interests and selfish ends, He cannot used to justify any form of Fundamentalism, Imperialism, or Colonialism. No more violence in the Name of God! May His Holy Name be adored, not profaned or bartered as a commodity through hatred and human opposition."
The Pontiff's words drew a round of applause from the mainly Moslem audience. The Pope also commended the efforts of Azeri Ayatollah Pashazade, who has facilitated humanitarian aid to Syrian Christians as well as fighting discrimination against Azeri Christians and Jews. Again, alluding to dangerous tendencies from the Western Alt-Right, Francis stated:
"It is not opposition but cooperation which helps to build more peaceful and stable societies. The fraternity sought by Azeri religious leaders directly oppose those who wish to focus on division or reawaken tensions that come from opposition or differences. Religions have the key task of accompanying people throughout life, helping people to understand that the center of each person is outside of himself, that we are oriented towards the Most High, and to the other person, who is our neighbor."
To which he concluded:
"Another part of this task involves providing authentic answers to those who find themselves lost among the swirling contradictions of our times. One of these contradictions is a seeming attitude of Nihilism among those who believe in nothing except their own well-being, power, and profit. On the other hand, there is a growing presence of a rigid fundamentalism from those who by both violent words and deeds seek to impose extreme and radical attitudes which are furthest from the Living God."
The Pope's speeches drew down predictable outrage from US pundits and writers whose consciences were no doubt deeply stung by his words. However, the Pope received nothing but praise from both the Georgian and Azeri media. It is noteworthy how Francis manages these important social issues and unite the most disparate audiences without the rhetoric and vitriol so characteristic of American policymakers. Pope Francis' secret is simply that he appeals to people's better natures in his words instead of pandering to their worst tendencies.
And true to form, a Fox News reporter---whose parent company donates to the Clinton Foundation and whose stockholders fund Wahhabi madrassas---asked the Pope in Azerbaijan whether he had a preference in the upcoming US elections. Francis answered that the people were sovereign in such matters, but that Americans should vote their consciences.
"When any country there are two, three, or four candidates who don't satisfy everyone, it probably means that the culture of that country has become too politicized, and the genuine political life of that culture isn't very strong. People will say 'I am of this party, or that party', but effectively they don't have clear thoughts about the basics."
Just a day after the US Congress overrode President Obama's veto of the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act, (JASTA), our cowardly representatives are scrambling to amend the law so as not to impact adversely their masters in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia merely warned of consequences to follow JASTA and, apparently, the Party of Lincoln quickly divined what the consequences actually would be. JASTA would require a disclosure of Saudi assets in the US---exposing just how much of Washington, Wall Street, the Corporate Media, and property the Saudis actually own here. Additionally, it would exposure of US dealings with Saudi Arabia---which certain persons involved in high-level crime may not wish brought to light.
House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell say they will have a new bill prepared---after the November elections. The Corporate Media outlet Reuters, whose parent-company is a contractor for both the US and Saudi governments, quoted former Senate GOP leader Trent Lott---who will apparently work as an advisor to the new bill as saying of the current JASTA legislation:
"I do feel passionately that this is a mistake for a variety of reasons, in terms of threats to troops, diplomats, national sovereignty; there are serious problems here. Hopefully we can find a way to change the tenor of this."
Lott is now a well-paid lobbyist for the Saudi Government, as CEO of the lobbying branch of international law firm Squire Patton Boggs, the 3rd largest lobbying firm in the US. Squire Patton Boggs has pumped over $1 million into the 2016 elections to date, with Hilary Clinton raking off about $60,000 from them. Lott is not alone among former politicians working for the Saudis. Former Senator John Breaux; former House Speaker John Boehner; former Congressmen Jim Matheson and Jack Kingston; former chairman of the American Conservative Union, Al Cardenas, two former ambassadors; an ex-federal judge; and a former US Secretary of Transportation all work for Squire Patton Boggs as well.
Saudi Arabia is not the only client of Squire Patton Boggs, however. Exxon-Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell, DuPont Chemical, Raytheon, and Goldman-Sachs are among their other clients. They also represent the government of Turkey in public relations related to the Syrian Civil War. Squire Patton Boggs works in Turkey in this respect as a subcontractor to the Gephardt Group, headed by former House Speaker, Dick Gephardt.
In addition to their political clout, Saudi Arabia and their ally, the United Arab Emirates own about 20% of stock in supposedly conservative News Corp, the parent-company of Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and The National Review. The UAE is also home to several government contractors, including Halliburton. CIA Director John Brennan owns property in Riyadh, and is a convert to Wahhabi Islam.
And the Alt-Right talks about an International Jewish Conspiracy? All the Saudis have to do is frown, and American 'elites' are on their faces bowing to Mecca---while the Israeli government can't even get official US recognition of its territorial claim to Jerusalem.
From all appearances, JASTA was never anything more than a publicity stunt; a vehicle for Republican legislators to boast to their constituents that they'd stood with 9/11 victims against Obama and the Saudis---when they never had the slightest intention that JASTA would ever actually be implemented. And the American people is too concerned with Trump's Twitter feud with a porn star to care very much anyway.
While we at this blog oppose Feminism---along with other impositions of the Cultural Marxists---we don't link to many Men's Rights blogs and are often critical of the movement. We have held, since this blog was founded in April of this year, that the MRM has been largely co-opted by the cultish Game philosophy, militant homosexuals, and far-Right political extremists. The movement was originally about fighting Feminist-imposed laws and exposing to both genders the sophistries of Feminist philosophy. The latter goal was the original meaning behind the phrase taking the Red Pill, though it has since come to mean something closer to a cultish religious conversion.
We have also argued that, in its current form, the MRM has adopted most Feminist and Cultural Marxist premises. Their overt misogyny is nothing more than repackaged Feminist misandry; they preach political correctness and identity politics like Cultural Marxists; and in general, they now stand against Tradition, Faith, Family, and Freedom.
One of the MRM bloggers to whom we link is a Norwegian writer named Eivind Berge, who's written an article titled 'The Men's Movement has lost.
Berge has been one of the stalwart defenders of men's rights throughout his career; actually risking life and liberty for his beliefs. He once won a landmark case in the Norwegian Supreme Court defending the right of Free Speech. His article today talks to a great extent about current abuses in Rape Laws---a subject on which he has considerable expertise. The article is worth reading in its entirety. but he makes another excellent point to which we will comment further here:
"Further evidence of how feckless we are is the degeneration of many former men's sites into White Supremacism and other nonsense---the so-called Alt-Right. For example, the blogger formerly known as 'Roissy in DC', now called 'Chateau Heartiste', when he isn't busy pushing racism or fat-shaming women, promotes the Feminist definition of rape. He has literally internalized Feminist slogans about sex without consent as his normative definition of rape...I must conclude that even in the former Manosphere most men are not seriously opposed to Feminism any more. What Roissy is doing is the equivalent of letting Feminism win by a walk-over, and that sums up the current sorry state of the Men's Movement."
Exactly. It appears now that the Red Pills have compounded their crimes by accepting Feminist rape definitions in addition to all the other Feminist doctrines and dogmas they have internalized. Berge is correct that sound rape/consent laws are essential to securing the rights of both genders in sexual relations. The Feminist redefinition of these laws has been seeping into the MRM for some time---advocated mostly at the blog A Voice for Men, a blog which is a viper's-nest of homosexuals and anti-Constitutionalists. Though nominally opposed to the Game Cult, AVfM, probably more than any other site, set the downward spiral of the MRM in motion and paved the way for religious fanatics and political extremists to hijack the whole movement.
The Men's Movement effectively died the moment it shifted from anti-Feminism to anti-Female. The genders are meant to be complimentary, not engaged eternally in some theoretical Marxist class-struggle for social supremacy. The rights and privileges of both genders need to be respected by law and custom. Men gain nothing by becoming Feminists---any more than women gain by it.
Both during the current election cycle and throughout this entire year of cities and campuses marked by riots, we've heard a lot of talk about law and order. Our Postmodern dystopia holds simultaneously two very contradictory views on lawlessness: extreme permissiveness coupled with draconian punishment. We as a society hold that torture of suspects is justifiable while at the same time allow violent mobs to assault police with impunity.
For this weekend's entertainment feature we are offering a series about four criminals who turned into heroes: Garrison's Gorillas. Set during WW2, Garrison's Gorillas is based on the exploits of Lt. Craig Garrison, a West Point graduate who is given special assignments behind enemy lines. For the purpose, the Army offers parole and pardon to four inmates at Sing Sing, who were known in the series by their prison names. 'Actor' was a con-man and international jewel thief; 'Goniff' a British immigrant and roof-top burglar; 'Casino' a safecracker; and 'Chief' an American Indian and smuggler.
Garrison's Gorillas aired on ABC from 1967-1968, at the end of television's Golden Era. The premise was a popular one in the late 1960s to early 1970s and was portrayed in such famous films as the WW2 drama The Dirty Dozen and the Western A Reason to Live, A Reason to Die. As an interesting note of trivia, actor Telly Savalas played in both films, and had a guest appearance in the first episode of Garrison's Gorillas.
The reason this premise is because earlier generations of Americans had an entirely different outlook on human nature than our Postmoderns hold today. Influenced heavily by Christianity, Americans once took the general attitude that we are all guilty sinners in Eyes of God and deserving of punishment, but were redeemed by Christ. Our attitudes towards crime and punishment reflected that belief. As the terms penitentiary and reformatory suggest; the purpose of punishment was intended to perform penance and effect reform. The ideal is a uniquely American one; begun in New England by the Pilgrim Fathers a century before American Independence.
This cultural shift in attitudes also explains the paradox we alluded to at the beginning of this review. Many of us erroneously believe that our Cultural Elites behave the way they do because they deny man's sinful nature. On the contrary, both the Left and Right acknowledge this; but what they both deny are Christian concepts like Redemption and Atonement. When we understand this aspect of their outlook; it becomes crystal-clear why our so-called Criminal Justice System is rife with double-standards and is characterized by both brutality towards some and laxity towards others. In a culture where every one sins and no one is saved, virtue is political correctness and there can be no salvation to those who violate it. This describes our cultural attitudes; regardless of whether we are describing the PC Left or the equally PC Right.
Garrison's Gorillas, though, gives a refreshing portrait of a different mindset. The men of Garrison's squad are fallible---but otherwise typical---men. In one episode, the squad discusses a risky plan to save Garrison's life, when Actor addresses them: "Men, we are all gamblers. We gambled that we wouldn't get caught. We're gambling our lives for our freedom. Our plan is a gamble, but we risk for what we value. Isn't the Lieutenant's life worth the risk?" A statement that well sums up the essence of what it means to be a man: to take risks for what one values, then acting upon that risk.
The series is 26 hour-long episodes, and there is no shortage of hard-core WW2 cloak-and-dagger action interspersed with the show's high ideals. It's also available for free viewing on Youtube, as well as on DVD.
One of the main legacies of the Obama Administration---which judged by less partisan intellects---will be the record of chaos and civil unrest fomented both here and abroad. All of this destruction is carried out to further the interests of organized crime, sexual perverts, religious cults, and ideological fanatics---all of whom dominate the US Cultural Elites.
Mexico has been at the receiving end of much of this abuse. The disclosures connected to Operation Fast and Furious showed that our government---the same calling for gun control here---was operating criminal gun-running syndicates to arm the Mexican Drug Cartels. It's also been further known since the Mena Airport Scandal of the Clinton Administration that these cartels have been trafficking narcotics into the United States, with the complicity of our government for years.
Basically what is happening in Mexico is the same general operation as is happening in Syria and Afghanistan. Drugs, weapons, sex-slaves, and other contraband are facilitated by criminal gangs connected to religious cults abroad for the profit and power of degenerates here. Of course, foreign patriots have to eliminated and moderate elements suppressed; which these gangs can be relied upon to do. In Syria, the Wahhabi Jihadists act as proxies, while in Mexico, Satanists do the job.
This week alone in Mexico, the Satanists killed five more Catholic priests; bringing the total of assassinated clerics there to around 50 since Fast and Furious was put into operation late in the Bush Junior Administration. The Catholic Church has been fighting an uphill battle against the drug cartels which---thanks again to our corrupt government---is often better armed and equipped than the Mexican Army.
Few Americans actually stop to consider that there has always been an historical association between narcotics traffic and the occult. In a country like ours---where drug addiction is rampant---Ameroboobs still pride themselves on their exceptionalism and supposed moral superiority to others. Narcotics, however, are known to have depressing effects on the human conscience and intelligence, when consumed in sufficient dosages. This makes the consumers easy prey for the fanatic, the criminal, and the pervert. Occult doctrines added into the mix can produce a human devil, literally capable of any atrocity. The methamphetamine use proliferated among the Nazi SS, ISIS, and the Mexican Drug Cartels show exactly what kinds of fiends are produced under the influence of that drug.
The Mexican Satanists---who were largely influenced by foreign provocateurs---adopted as their object of worship a character from indigenous Mexican peasant culture called La Santissima Muerte. This being---probably a Christianized relic of the Aztec Culture---is depicted as a human skeleton in a black dress such of the type worn by the Madonna. The high festival of this cult is on Halloween, where its image is venerated in makeshift shrines where money, food, candles and other offerings are presented to it along with many blasphemous prayers and tributes. Marijuana is lit for La Santissima Muerte instead of incense.
Father Francisco Bautista of Mexico City told the BBC recently that "From approximately eight years ago we have seen Santa Muerte having a big presence with drug cartel members from their bosses on down. Why? Because these people say that Jesus or the Virgin Mary won't provide them with what they ask for: protection from the military, police, and their other enemies. In exchange, they offer Santa Muerte human sacrifices. And this has increased the violence in Mexico."
Father Bautista noted that, in addition to the murders of priests and desecrations of churches, the Satanists have committed numerous ritual murders---including the sacrifices of virgin girls and babies---all of which have been well-documented by the Mexican Federal Police. The former President Felipe Calderon had given the military orders to destroy shrines to La Santa Muerte, but the current president---who is supported by Obama---has since rescinded the order.
And the situation is not likely to change. Considering that Hilary Clinton carried out most of Obama's policies in Mexico, and that many of Trump's advisors and endorsees participated in Fast and Furious---and the fact half of Americans can't find Mexico on a map and couldn't care less about what our leaders do there---we'll probably go on getting our dope from the Satanists at the cost of several hundred Mexican lives.
Fortunately, though, many Mexicans have started fighting back: forming local militias and networking with the authorities. The pro-Obama party is up for re-election in 2018 and their poll numbers are in the tank against two parties who take a more aggressive stand.
