With the fake ceasefire, Zionist atrocities in Lebanon, and the utter incompetence of the Pentagon starting to raise too many awkward questions among we, the Little People, both the US Congress and the White House reached for their most reliable distraction:
Right on schedule, too. The only thing that denizens of the Anglosphere consider more important than War Crimes, wealth transfers, power-grabs, and the potential of a nuclear holocaust is the hint that heterosexual activity might have been going on in secret somewhere. The earth-shaking revelations about Bill Gates getting a sexually-transmitted disease or photos of Prince Andrew doing it on all fours whets their appetite for more. Prince Andrew's case is proof too that the cultural brain-rot is just as bad in the Commonwealth as it is in Exceptional America. The cover-up of Princess Diana's murder and allegations of money-laundering through Buckingham Palace can be overlooked---but Andrew's sexual escapades several years ago is deemed to have besmirched the dignity of the British Crown; and Andrew's ended up in the Tower of London or wherever they throw such people these days.
Now, the Alpha thugs in both Israel and the DC Beltway are scrambling to outdo each other on who can violate the ceasefire with Iran most blatantly. Israel carpet-bombed the capital of Lebanon, boasting over 100 attacks in ten minutes. Of course, the Corporate Media isn't drawing the obvious conclusion that an operation like that had to have been planned for some time. It's no secret that the Zionists plan on ethnically-cleansing and annexing the predominantly Christian population of Lebanon, a goal approved by US Ambassador and Christian Nationalist Mike Huckabee shortly before the Iran War broke out. Likewise, there's been silence from Christian Conservatives about Hegseth's guru Doug Wilson speaking of a Black Swan event to the growing number of Christian Nationalists in the officer corps recently.
Unlike the Whacko Left and their obsession with muh Epstein Files, Christian Conservatives typically don't engage in distraction; they simply ignore or deny the crimes committed by these radical pseudo-Christian Cults in their name. We would look in vain through their websites for stories about the persecution of Christians in Ukraine, or Palestine, or Lebanon, or by the newly-installed Jihadist gang installed in Syria by the most Christian-friendly Administration in history.
Pope Leo, however, has been speaking out against the Christian Nationalist heresy; and today is was leaked that long-time Deep State henchman and Hegseth's deputy Elbridge Colby summoned the Vatican's envoy to the Pentagon to threaten the Pope for his public skepticism that American Christian Nationalism was not compatible with actual Christianity. This happened in January, while the Pentagon staged the kidnapping of the Venezuelan President, incited a Color Revolution in Iran, and blockaded Cuba. "America has the military power to do whatever it wants in the world!" Colby roared at the Cardinal."The Catholic Church had better take its side!" Another of Hegseth's thugs reportedly raised the veiled threat of repeating the Avignon Papacy---the historical period known as the Babylonian Captivity of the Church---when another megalomaniacal tyrant removed the Holy See from Rome to Avignon, France.
The Pentagon has denied that this exchange took place---just as they've been denying the very terms that they agreed to for conducting the Iran War cease-fire talks. More importantly, however, the Administration's scullions on Catholic sites don't seem to have considered the story important enough to question: J.D. Vance's word is always sufficient for them.
Yet however much American Christians want to deny these and other facts, their very silence is complicity. Christians are among the casualties in the bloodshed being both perpetrated and enabled by the very leaders they support. Their denials and their distractions don't change the reality of the situation. We have to start standing up and saying 'no' to these fanatics as Pope Leo has done, or they will continue carrying out their crimes and move on to even greater ones.
