In the Postmodernist Utopia once known as the United States, Summer no longer brings images of picnics, drive-ins, beach parties, or family vacations. Now it's time for outrage. Outrage against anything, although the 2016 elections are giving a lively pretext for Ameroboob anger. It is a new credo here in the Prozac Nation that the Personal is Political. Enjoying oneself or engaging in productive activities equate in the modern mind with selfishness and stupidity, because being happy means that you aren't offended about something; and happiness is offensive to the unhappy. Such is the logic under which the modern mind operates.
The Summer of Rage got off to an impressive start in 2016. The first outrage came from Cincinnati, Ohio. A police sharpshooter killed a gorilla to rescue a 4 year-old boy who had fallen into its cage. Now in a normal society, the policeman would have been given a medal; but here it occasions a nationwide outburst of fury. Here are some examples of Amerboob reflections on the unfortunate simian's demise:
"The mother represents the Liberal progressive idiot Left. They are stupid, irresponsible fools! Trump 2016!"
"Zoos should be closed down. I'd pay to see humans in cages rather than innocent animals."
"We killed a two-million dollar admittedly rare animal so that we could set another potential future Trayvon Martin loose upon the streets...just to avoid being called a racist!"
And there are thousands of other remarks displaying roughly the same level of intellectual depth. Millions signed an online petition; pundits called for the mother's head; lawsuits threatened---and today an inquest ruled the child's fall was an accident.
Then later in the week, riots erupted in California. White Liberal Anarchists and native-born Hispanics educated in US public schools attacked a political rally which ended a bloody street riot in San Jose. The rioters, despite behaving like Nazi Brownshirts themselves, justify their violence on the grounds that their opponent is allegedly a Fascist.
Even more ironic were elements of the American Right, who immediately let loose with hysterical tirades against Mexican Immigration. Terms like 'invasion' and 'civil war' are being thrown around, with calls for border walls and mass deportations. One conservative pundit accused former Mexican President Vicente Fox of orchestrating the riot. However, here are a few anecdotes from San Jose:
"Adam Rivas, a 22 year old community college student who was born and raised in San Jose said that he was particularly disturbed about Trump's remarks about Mexicans." (NBC Bay Area)
"The protestors spilled onto nearby streets, some standing on cars with signs that read, We Need Socialism." (CNN)
"Emmett Rensin, an essayist and deputy editor at Vox, was suspended from his job after advising people to start a riot if Trump came to town." (Washington Post)
"A video tweeted from a photographer showed fighting continued in the streets after the event. Bernie! Bernie! Bernie! several shouted. (Politico)
"Protestors mostly made up of young people. Some throwing gang signs." (ABC)
These people hardly sound like Mexican immigrants; but that is no issue for the American public. Some were seen carrying Mexican flags; and that is sufficient these days to create an international incident on the level of Pearl Harbor.
Finally President Obama---who has incited civil war and government overthrows in around a dozen countries---spoke out against the riots.
"That's not what Democracy is all about. That's not what you do. There's no room for violence. There's no room for shouting. There's no room for politics that fails to at least listen to the other side."
It should be noted that Obama made these remarks a day after ordering a new round of sanctions against North Korea and two days after beginning military exercises on the Russian border.
Thus concluded the first week of The Summer of Rage. What will Americans be outraged about next week? It's anybody's guess; but we can predict with absolute confidence that there will be no outrage whatsoever about our declining military, failing schools, faltering economy, disastrous foreign policy, incompetent bureaucracy, or collapsing infrastructure.

FEATURE FRIDAY, JUNE 3rd EDITION
In contemporary US culture, race-baiting is a national pastime, just like baseball used to be. When a society begins to disintegrate, its tendency is to revert back to earlier stages of social evolution. Tribalism, being a less-civilized state than Nationalism, always makes a comeback during such times. Nations exist on complex structures like shared history, ideals, and values: tribes exist on simplistic structures like racial identity.
So one would naturally assume that the first network television drama to feature a minority---in this case an American Indian---in the starring role would be a cause celebre among the effete elites. Not so, however, for reasons which will become readily apparent. This weekend's feature recommendation is a Western drama titled Law of the Plainsman.
Law of the Plainsman aired on NBC from 1959-1960. It was a spin-off from the popular TV series The Rifleman. The program followed the adventures of US Deputy Marshal Sam Buckheart, a full-blooded Apache Indian. Now Buckheart's background as depicted in the story explains in itself the reason why Law of the Plainsman is ignored by the PC crowd. Buckheart was a young Apache warrior in Geronimo's army during the Apache Indian War. He saved the life of a wounded American general who rewarded him with a scholarship that terminated in Buckheart's graduation from Harvard. In gratitude to his country, Buckheart returned to Santa Fe and enlisted in the US Marshals Service.
This story is at considerable variance with how American Liberals expect Indians to behave. In fact, Law of the Plainsman is remarkably free from racial themes. In a few episodes, some bigoted Whites challenge Buckheart; but in another Buckheart defends a murder suspect from vengeful Apaches who accuse Buckheart of selling out his heritage. Buckheart's answer is always the same: he points to his badge and proclaims "What I am is a Deputy United States Marshal. I answer to the United States government, not to you."
Buckheart also has the interesting pastime of reading classical literature in the original Greek. He prefers an Apache headband to a cowboy hat, but otherwise doesn't wear his heritage on his sleeve. He attends church services and sponsors a home for orphans. And he's a determined and tenacious opponent of desperate criminals and a defender of the weak and helpless.
As a masculine archetype, Buckheart represents a character-type that has all but disappeared from the American cultural scene; that of a man who has adopted traditional masculinity by choice. This is not only Politically Incorrect, it is at variance with the false masculinity promulgated by certain Manospherians of the Game/PUA cult. While the Gamers pretend that they are reclaiming Manhood and posture as confident Alpha males, men of the Buckheart type exude genuine confidence.
This type of masculine confidence does not come from learning a system; it comes from a belief (or faith) in something higher than oneself. In Buckheart's case it came via education; in the normal course of stable societies it comes in the transition from boyhood into manhood. Confidence is one of Buckheart's strongest character traits. Aside from the well-known Indian stoicism, confidence tends to be very pronounced in men who assimilated into a higher culture. This is because they have accepted the culture as rational adults and tend to have deep faith in their adopted worldview; having accepted it objectively.
It is important to note this distinction because not only have the Gamers counterfeited masculine confidence; but because the vile contagion of White Supremacism has exploded within their ranks in recent years. This is probably not surprising since it is but a short leap from gender-supremacy to racial-supremacy. Many, if not most, Feminists are actually racists too, although they will never admit it. Both could learn a lot from a real man like Sam Buckheart who, by various media accounts, had quite a substantial following of female fans in the early 1960s.
True Masculinity and Femininity stem from a common Ideal; which has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with race. And that is the underlying theme of Law of the Plainsman. Buckheart was an Apache by birth; an American by adoption; and an archetype of true masculinity through his faith and his intellect.

OKINAWA DEMANDS END TO PENTAGON CRIME WAVE
The 50,000 LGBTQ-friendly American Marines stationed on Okinawa spent the Memorial Day weekend under a 10 PM curfew with strict limitations on alcohol. This clampdown followed the Okinawan Legislature's formal demand upon the Japanese Imperial government that the base be closed and the Marines ejected from the island.
The Okinawan people are fed up with out-of-control crime perpetrated by the American military. The latest incident being yet another rape and murder of an Okinawan girl; shortly preceded by a sailor's confession to forcible rape of a Japanese woman.
"On Okinawa, many are protesting the US bases; not just for their presence there, but for the amount of crime constantly surrounding them." one protestor told the press "They get with these crimes because of a legal loophole preventing Okinawan authorities access to the base."
According to Okinawan Police forces, US military personnel have been linked to 26 murders, 129 rapes, 394 robberies and arsons since joint US-Japanese rule was established on the island in 1972. With predictable political cynicism, Obama seems unlikely to move the base. Journalist Daniel Lazare noted:
"Notwithstanding the wishes of the Japanese people, the bigger picture to Washington and Tokyo is simply China. The US is busy remilitarizing the Western Pacific, trying to line up support from various Pacific Rim countries to create a grand concert of anti-Chinese powers, and clearly Okinawa is a major part of that process."
It is to be hoped that these evasions will help spur on the Okinawan independence movement.
Now the American Media Cartels---a significant number of which have financial interests both in Pentagon defense contractors and the Japanese Empire's corporate structure, have been downplaying these incidents and trying desperately to portray Okinawan leaders as anti-American extremists. But as we have pointed out before, Okinawa is not a unique problem. The problem is simply that our military personnel of today are substandard---due to politically-correct social engineering, poor public schools, lowered recruitment and training standards, and a military culture that is openly hostile towards both masculinity and spirituality. When a military looks like this it should not be surprising that professional soldiers would not serve in it.
Thus, the problem is not unique to Okinawa. Recent headlines include:

The military is the product of the culture that made it. Like it or not, the military of today looks like America and always has reflected the culture that comprised it. If Americans don't like what they see, they need to look in the mirror to find the ones responsible for it.

UCLA: BETTER DEAD THAN READ
Yesterday, in Southern California, another sterling product of American public education went on a shooting rampage at the UCLA campus. Predictably, the US Media Cartels withheld any information about the assassin until paid pundits and internet trolls had spread the rumors that a gun-toting white Conservative male was behind it all. Equally predictably, the shooter actually didn't fit that description.
Of course, the Cultural Marxists enjoy exploiting these stories to attack American culture; The Gun Culture is a neologism they've coined for this particular purpose. Now one would logically assume that a country where Marijuana is the leading agricultural product in most states and consumption of Antidepressants exceeds that of most fruits and vegetables, that some dynamic other than private ownership of firearms might be at work here. Especially when it's considered that Americans have owned guns since the country was founded and drug abuse is fairly recent; and that most mass-murders seem to coincide with one time-frame more than the other. But we are discussing logic here; and the Ameroboob typically isn't interested in that.
Anarchists rioting on campuses and overthrowing university administrations scarcely excite comment in the US; but stories like these, do.
An interesting anecdote about the UCLA shooting somehow managed to slip though the Media Cartels' news filters. MSNBC---of all places---said of Dr. Klug, one of the slain: "he was a devout Christian and a regular figure in organizing campus spiritual life.
The Media Cartels are trying to spin this as intellectual property dispute; as they always excuse any minority who kills a white male. But the fact that Dr. Klug was a Christian possibly shouldn't be dismissed so easily. It seems like there is a familiar pattern developing. For example, how many of these mass-murders have taken place in churches?
Between 1980 and 2015, there have been 139 shootings in churches, with 185 killed. And several mass-murderers, such as the perpetrators of the Columbine and Roseburg massacres seem to have targeted Christians as their victims. Eliot Roger's manifesto made it clear he disliked Christian girls in particular. The San Bernardino attack happened at Christmas Party; in fact most Jihadists are likely to presume that their targets will be Christians.
In 2014, there were 176 'deadly force incidents' committed against US churches, according to US crime statistics. A 2013 FBI report stated that 18% of 'hate crimes' were perpetrated against religious beliefs. A 2012 FBI report stated that 23,547 crimes were committed nationwide on church property.
Now nobody in the Government-Media Complex is going to bother drawing the obvious inferences here, because it is not in their interest to do so. But when we note that Christians seem to be frequent targets of violent crimes and balance that fact against the often violent anti-Christian rhetoric flowing out of American Cultural Elites, one cannot help but wonder if a correlation between these two things doesn't exist.
The bigger question, though, is: if such a correlation does exist, would it make any difference to the effete American public anyway? We are talking about a population here who has been mostly indifferent to US policies which have contributed to the wholesale ethnic cleansing of Christians in the Middle East. Likely it will not make any difference. If it's mostly Christians whom mass-murderers target, why should Americans care? 'Better that it happens to someone else'---the New Normal of American empathy.

THE ARYAN JOAN OF ARC RETURNS TO UKRAINE
Another heroine of the American Left, the clipped-haired mean-faced woman in combat Nadiya Savchenko, is out of a Russian jail and back in Ukraine after President Putin exchanged her for two Russian hostages. In the country that gave the world FEMEN, Ms. Nadiya is a national hero; and consequently, the darling of the American Media Cartels.
Ms. Nadiya, a former pilot in the politically-correct Ukrainian Air Force made headlines in 2014 after officials in the Donetsk Republic captured her and some terrorist partisans. She was deported to Russia for complicity in assassinating two Russian journalists. Now among the American Elite today, murdering Russian journalists is considered a noble and praiseworthy deed; and, aided by a few hunger-strikes and other theatrics, Ms. Nadiya's plight became a cause celebre among the effete Consciences of the West.
She was sentenced to 22 years in prison, much to the outrage of an American media who only has praise for a legal system that guns down ranchers protesting over cattle-grazing rights. And the Neo-Nazi government in Kiev was outraged too. But Putin called Poroshenko's bluff and offered a prisoner exchange. After all the hysteria he'd whipped up, Poroshenko couldn't well refuse; and was obliged to release two valuable Russian prisoners for just another ordinary madcap Ukrainian nationalist.
So, Ms. Nadiya returned to Kiev this week. Despite past membership in the Aidar Battalion---a collection of criminal thugs and Nazi psychopaths engaged in ethnically cleansing East Ukraine---as well as her conviction for murder and terrorism; Ms. Nadiya had been elected in absentia to a seat in the Ukrainian congress. Not that is too unusual in Ukraine: recall that this is the same legislative body which officially believes that Jesus was a Ukrainian and that Russia orchestrated the recent ISIS terror attacks in Brussels.
No sooner had Ms. Nadiya gotten off the plane than the fun started.
She stated immediately that that she would consider a presidential run, complaining that Poroshenko had been too soft on Russia. "I have a feeling that WW3 could happen," she explained, "Crimea will probably return to Ukraine during this world war." Ms. Nadiya arrived at Parliament for her first day several hours before it opened, singing the National Anthem on the doorstep.
It's for the sake of maniacs like these that EU countries languish under sanctions, and American taxpayers shell out billions in subsidies. And why were these sanctions imposed? Because the people of Crimea and Donbas chose not to live under such lunatics, and Russia supported them.

And Western defense contractors and other nation-building enterprises are also turning some good profits off the 'Crisis'. And none of this will matter to the Ameroboob who, though he can't find Russia on map, is nonetheless convinced that Russia is a greater threat to the region than a Neo-Nazi government backed up by an army of Skinheads, Jihadists, and other criminals.
Ms. Nadiya, a former pilot in the politically-correct Ukrainian Air Force made headlines in 2014 after officials in the Donetsk Republic captured her and some terrorist partisans. She was deported to Russia for complicity in assassinating two Russian journalists. Now among the American Elite today, murdering Russian journalists is considered a noble and praiseworthy deed; and, aided by a few hunger-strikes and other theatrics, Ms. Nadiya's plight became a cause celebre among the effete Consciences of the West.
She was sentenced to 22 years in prison, much to the outrage of an American media who only has praise for a legal system that guns down ranchers protesting over cattle-grazing rights. And the Neo-Nazi government in Kiev was outraged too. But Putin called Poroshenko's bluff and offered a prisoner exchange. After all the hysteria he'd whipped up, Poroshenko couldn't well refuse; and was obliged to release two valuable Russian prisoners for just another ordinary madcap Ukrainian nationalist.
So, Ms. Nadiya returned to Kiev this week. Despite past membership in the Aidar Battalion---a collection of criminal thugs and Nazi psychopaths engaged in ethnically cleansing East Ukraine---as well as her conviction for murder and terrorism; Ms. Nadiya had been elected in absentia to a seat in the Ukrainian congress. Not that is too unusual in Ukraine: recall that this is the same legislative body which officially believes that Jesus was a Ukrainian and that Russia orchestrated the recent ISIS terror attacks in Brussels.
No sooner had Ms. Nadiya gotten off the plane than the fun started.
She stated immediately that that she would consider a presidential run, complaining that Poroshenko had been too soft on Russia. "I have a feeling that WW3 could happen," she explained, "Crimea will probably return to Ukraine during this world war." Ms. Nadiya arrived at Parliament for her first day several hours before it opened, singing the National Anthem on the doorstep.
It's for the sake of maniacs like these that EU countries languish under sanctions, and American taxpayers shell out billions in subsidies. And why were these sanctions imposed? Because the people of Crimea and Donbas chose not to live under such lunatics, and Russia supported them.

RUSSIAN HUMANITARIAN AID REACHES ZARA
Five days after the European Union implemented further economic sanctions against Syria, Russian relief agencies delivered 16 tons of humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees on Monday. The aid was distributed to a Displaced Persons Camp outside Alamen, Syria which houses survivors of the bloody massacre committed in Zara on May 12th.
Russian Colonel Sergei Ivanov, who co-ordinates humanitarian aid shipments from Hmeimem Air Base stated that besides foodstuffs and other necessities, Russia has deployed a field medical unit to the area.
Allied forces retook Zara early last week and liberated some of the hostages kidnapped by the moderate rebels. On May 12th, terrorist forces affiliated with Al-Qaeda entered Zara and committed a house-to-house, street-by-street slaughter of the inhabitants. The US media has ignored the story, and Western powers have blocked UN condemnation of the massacre.
Which brings up the interesting question of EU sanctions. With nearly every Syrian household decimated by Jihadist barbarians and mass-graves being discovered all over the countryside, the reason the EU adduces for blocking economic aid to Syria is truly paradoxical:
"The EU will continue targeting the regime and its supporters as long as repression continues...The EU will step up its political role...aimed at reaching an agreement on a genuine political transition in Syria."
The only conclusion one can draw from this is that the EU insists on maintaining sanctions until Assad---who is fighting and defeating the Jihadists---surrenders to the Jihad. Who else is Syrian government repressing and to whom could it transition power unless it be the Jihadists? The same EU---which refuses even to acknowledge the Zara Massacre occurred---is evidently so subordinate to US/Wall Street interests that it turns a blind eye to ethnic cleansing and outright war crimes simply to satisfy Washington's fanatical scheme to spread Cultural Marxism to the Middle East.

The US Media today had nothing to say about the sufferings of the Syrian people, but was flooded with outrage over a gorilla shot in the Cincinnati Zoo---shot to protect a little boy, incidentally. A culture which considers apes more valuable than human beings is not liable to stand by Europe in a time of crisis. Europe needs to understand that Syria's present could easily become their future. And in such a crisis, will the US treat Europe the same way? Or should they look to Russia---a culture which comes to the aid of their fellow-man?

THE REAL O'NOTHINGS
One of the benefits of a monopoly is that a monopolistic organization can sell its inferior products simply by generating discussion and controversy about them. This especially easy for the US Media Cartels. They can generate ratings for both their news and entertainment venues by fomenting as much social dissention as possible.
ABC launched a such a controversial program in March called The Real O'Neals. This show is allegedly a comedy about homosexuality in a traditionally Catholic family; but of course, its real purpose is to ridicule Catholics and promote the Gay Mafia. Now, The Real O'Neals is floundering badly in the ratings in spite of being propped up by interest-group dollars and media sympathy. Such a narrowly-focused theme is bound to run out of plots soon.
The show was predictably doomed to failure when Dan Savage got involved. For those not living on the West Coast: Savage is an anti-Catholic bigot, Code Pink activist, and tabloid writer from the gutters of Seattle. In a city where Communists are elected to the City Council and which boasts of being both the most gay-friendly and marijuana-tolerant major city in the US, Savage is considered a great cultural icon. In a venue like Seattle, Savage is considered above criticism; in America at large, not so much.
Now, before the show aired in March there was some public outcry from Catholic quarters about it, which naturally only inflated the egos of the Hollywood Cross-burners.
It's entirely predictable that the American media-- heavily funded by Wahhabi Moslems and the Gay Mafia, with a good percentage of Scientologists, Moonies, and New-Agers thrown into the mix, would enjoy insulting Christians publically. But what is genuinely annoying about these kinds of media ventures is this: every time some self-styled artiste decides to cash in on Christian-bashing, his effete comrades in the media fall all over themselves praising his great courage.
How much courage does this kind of production actually take? What generally happens whenever the media offends American Christians? Well, there are some blog posts, some petitions get circulated; maybe a boycott or two get organized; some Cardinals will shake their heads and issue statements of regret---but that's about it. Overall, anti-Christian media productions really don't require much courage. And that's the whole point of them.
So, we would like to offer a challenge to the Media Elites.
In January, economic sanctions were lifted from Iran. Americans are now free to travel to and do business with that country. So the challenge is: why don't you media elites go to Iran and demonstrate your courage by publically blaspheming Shia Islam? Here are some suggestions:
1. Mr. Savage and friends can run a theater in downtown Tehran and produce a comedy about a traditional Shiite family whose kids 'come out as gay'. That would certainly cause some social controversy.
2. Authors and illustrators can buy bookstores and sell material lampooning Islam. Chester Brown, author of Mary Wept could sell underground comics depicting Mohammed's mother as a prostitute and argue that the Koran is all about goddess-worship and ritual sex. Since Brown, by his own admission, doesn't worry about offending Christians, he shouldn't have an issue with offending Moslems.
3. You could open comedy clubs in Iranian cities and send stand-up comedians from the US to do skits ridiculing the Ayatollahs and laughing at Shia as a Bronze-Age superstition. We're certain that the Iranian public would be buzzing about irreverent humor like that.
Meanwhile, we here will be placing wagers how many minutes would elapse between the Grand Opening of these venues and the arrival of the Iranian National Guard. But then the Hollywood Elites would have genuine satisfaction in courageously standing up for their beliefs for a change.
