On December 7th, 1941, a gang of international criminals with delusions of world domination attacked the United States. A quarter of our standing military assets were wiped out and thousands of Americans were killed. Just under fours later, we had rebuilt our military, the aggressors went down in flames, and America stood tall among the world powers.
On September 11th, 2001, a gang of international criminals with delusions of world conquest attacked the United States. Our major financial center was destroyed and thousands of Americans were killed. Fifteen years later, the Twin Towers have never been rebuilt, the aggressors are still running wild, Americans have surrendered their liberties, and our Government and Corporations stand allied with those who attacked us.
We look back at 1941 and see leaders like Franklin D. Roosevelt, Gen. George Marshall, J. Edgar Hoover, and 'Wild Bill' Donovan---then compare them to George Bush Jr., Barack Obama, and Hilary Clinton---we can readily observe the relative strength and weakness of our culture in the 1940s vs. the 21st Century.
Thus, our recommendation for this weekend's entertainment will take us back to the 1940s, and is suitably themed for the 9/11 Memorial Weekend. This is not a television series, but a 15-chapter movie serial, The Secret Service in Darkest Africa.
The Secret Service in Darkest Africa was produced in 1943 by Republic Studios at a cost equivalent to $2.5 million in today's currency, including some technical advice from the US military. The series was a sequel to an extremely popular 1942 serial, G-Men vs. the Black Dragon (which will be the subject of a future review here). The sequel follows the further exploits of Special Agent Rex Bennett.
In the opening chapter, Bennett has gone to Germany, where posing as a Gestapo officer intercepts a Nazi plot to foment an Islamic Jihad against the Allies in North Africa. He escapes to England---in a stolen Messerschmitt bomber no less!---and reveals the plot. His superiors dispatch him to Algeria---but too late. The Nazis, he learns, have kidnapped a powerful Moslem sheik and spiritual leader; and a top Gestapo agent, Baron von Rummler, is now posing as the sheik. Von Rummler is inciting the Arabs to rise against the Allies and look to the Nazis as protectors of Islam---while carrying out other Nazi intrigues behind the scenes.
Thus, Bennett is faced with the seemingly insurmountable task of fighting the Gestapo, the Jihadists, and rescuing the real sheik at the same time.
Nonetheless, Bennett rolls up his sleeves and wades into this daunting assignment. His character represents an aspect of masculinity that largely disappeared in the 21st Century: the belief that even the toughest jobs could be challenged and met. After WW2, Charles de Gaulle is even said to have remarked about American soldiers that "The word impossible is not in their vocabulary. Many times, I have observed that, when faced with an unexpected obstacle, the Americans never thought once of retreat or surrender; but instead formulated a new plan to complete the objective."
The Postmodern 'pajama-boys' and the phony 'Alphas' of the Manosphere present us with nothing like this kind of genuine self-assurance and self-confidence. Despite all today's talk of American Exceptionalism, the most predominant characteristic of 21st Century American manhood is its defeatism. Between the swaggering Manly Alpha Leaders and the cringing Millenial Boys afraid of their own shadows, everywhere American men seem to walk under a cloud of malaise and defeat.
Thus, The Secret Service in Darkest Africa presents us with a much more refreshing scenario. Rex Bennett's can-do spirit and commitment to see a tough job through made him a 1940s pop-culture icon among American boys---many of whom later emulated him on the battlefields of Korea, or building the post-war economic and technological boom of the 1950s. It's a spiritual element of the masculine nature that American men badly need to recover.
The Secret Service in Darkest Africa was Republic's 2nd-biggest ever serial production and is far better quality than many of Republic's other projects. The plot and storylines are fairly sophisticated and well-written, without the repetitiveness and redundancies that too often marred movie serials. And there is certainly no shortage of action: one reviewer calculated that there are at least three fights per episode.
All in all, watching The Secret Service in Darkest Africa this weekend would be an excellent alternative to the empty platitudes and babblings of politicians and pundits which typically characterize 9/11 Memorials. Here you can see good men doing good things---yes, actually doing them---defeating the Jihad and stopping Nazi scumbags dead in their tracks. Bennett also a charming love interest, the pretty and spunky Janet Blake---an Allied spy posing as a news reporter.
The series is occasionally available on Youtube and other free venues, but as of this writing it is not. The best way to enjoy it is by DVD, but it is time well-invested.
Blogger Insanity Bytes published a good article today about America (and the West in general) and our Culture of Pornography. This article is an insightful critique of an anti-pornography statement made by a former star of that entertainment genre, Pamela Anderson.
We see this type of phenomenon a lot here in the Prozac Nation. A female celebrity who's made a tidy fortune from her natural assets begins the natural process of physical decline and typically does one of two things:
1.) Pretend it really isn't happening and they are just as beautiful as they ever were (e.g. Barbara Eden, Loni Anderson, Nichelle Nichols, among others); or
2.) Suddenly become political/social activists against the so-called objectification of women (e.g. Gretchen Carlson, Pamela Anderson, among others).
Both types present us with sad spectacles. They should have followed the examples of women of earlier generations: either gracefully passing into dignified glamor (e.g. Gloria Swanson, Jacqueline Kennedy); or landing a high-value first-class husband before it was too late (e.g. Clara Bow, Mary Pickford).
But as in Insanitybytes rightly points out, human sexuality itself is not the problem: our Culture's commercialization of sexuality is. The women in the previous examples are either in denial or lashing out precisely because they've succumbed to this whole cultural nonsense of Sexual Market Value. It's obvious that such women are reacting to their beauty in terms of its economic utility, rather than the wonderful gift feminine beauty really is to a normal woman.
As we have seen here, both the Feminists and the Manosphere Game Cult adopt this economic model of interpersonal relationships: the first based in Marxism and the second in Crony-Capitalism. As we've also pointed out, both are inherently Godless philosophies that reduce human sexuality to its social utility. In the Economic-Sexual social paradigm, what pornography represents is the Black Market.
But as we have also demonstrated, the Economic Model of Human Sexuality is false, despite the superficial fact that pornography is big business---according to The Economist, the US accounts for 22% of the world's global pornography internet traffic (with the search term lesbian coming up first at 38%), From a sociological standpoint, the proliferation of pornography is not purely economic; because, as in any business, supply is related to demand.
Thus, although it may appear counter-intuitive, the proliferation of pornography is not---as many anti-porn activists argue---the result of social oversexualization. It is to the contrary, it is in reality caused by social sexual repression. The Political Correctness that has been imposed on our culture---thanks largely to Hilary Clinton's phony 'Gender Wars' of the 1990s---has essentially driven healthy relationships between the two genders underground. If we examine the nature of pornography in general we see---outside of a few extreme deviances---exaggerations of otherwise normal sexuality. The fact that the pornographic scenarios are exaggerated represent social sexual deprivation; the same way that a starving man would pounce on a feast after being deprived of food.
Our culture is so sexually repressed in fact, that normal relationships cannot even be safely pursued unless it has the cover of sexual deviancy attached. There's actually a so-called sexual fetish in the sexual underground called 1950s Household! This is where men and women portray a traditional American household! It's perfectly normal behavior, but so socially unacceptable that people who want a traditional home with traditional gender-roles are compelled to portray as an alternative lifestyle!
The same is true of so-called BDSM: this is natural masculine dominance and female submission being carried out in an extreme form---but again, a Black Market way of expressing it. Even a lot of homosexuality and transgenderism is the same thing: people turning to the same sex to fulfill what society prevents them from getting from the opposite sex. Men who voyeuristically watch beautiful female porn stars are simply checking out pretty girls (though again in an exaggerated way); which could have legal consequences if they were caught doing it in real life.
The way to combat pornography proliferation is also, paradoxically, not to pass laws against it. The way to reverse these trends is:
1.) Stop politicizing sexuality. Repeal all of these speech codes, anti-fraternization rules, relax Age-of-Consent laws, repeal most sexual harassment laws---in short, stop criminalizing and stigmatizing heterosexual behaviors.
2.) Reject and oppose all of these false economic-based sexual theories; whether they come from the Cultural Marxists or the Alt-Right. Both of these false philosophies have done more damage to American gender-relations than all the pornographic websites combined.
It is said by some that the Sexual Revolution---another phony idea promoted by vested interests during the previous generation---has irrevocably changed our culture. Wrong. Human Nature and Gender Polarity always come out in the end; ironically, pornographic proliferation is proof of that.
Earlier this Summer here in the Prozac Nation, people were seeing alligators everywhere and now, they are seeing clowns. Yes, for the last month or so, clowns have been allegedly jumping out from behind bushes and trees, trying to abduct children and teenagers to heaven-knows-what sinister purpose. Of course, in the case of alligators, we know what their intentions are; but clowns are notoriously unpredictable.
The epicenter of this new wave of terror sweeping the nation seems to be in the vicinity of Greenville, South Carolina; although clown-attacks are being reported elsewhere. The Corporate Media hasn't explained so far why clowns are running around---both in forests and populated areas---unnoticed by anyone else. Presumably, even in the Postmodern US, a guy in a clown-suit would stand out anywhere but at a circus.
Nonetheless, the citizens of Greenville are up in arms and outrage that clowns are springing from behind trees---like the elusive Sasquatch---and menacing their juvenile population. The Police Chief of Greenville, Ken Miller, has been forced to put his foot down quite firmly: stating last week that anyone seen in a clown-suit would be arrested on the spot. "It's inappropriate and creating community concern and it needs to stop!" Miller fumed at a press conference.
Perusing through some other news headlines from around Greenville, however, puts the clown sighting epidemic into a little more context:

In 2013, the DEA estimated 82 meth labs were operational in the Greenville area--- a relatively small town of 61,000. Given that the intrepid Chief Miller has yet to find even a footprint from a clownish oversized shoe in the Anderson County woodlands, we may rather safely presume a correlation between Greenville's recreational narcotic habits and what they claim to be sighting in the forests.
The real Bozos in this whole clown-terror wave are the ones in the Corporate Media, who once again have lowered the bar for US journalistic standards to tabloid levels.
The Wahhabi Cult---an apostate sect of Islam---represents one of the greatest threats to world peace and to free peoples everywhere. Wahhabis are represented in groups like the Moslem Brotherhood, ISIS, the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Al-Nusra, Boko Harum, and Al-Shebaab; and are behind the vast majority of the world's terrorist attacks; as well as being significant players in international criminal activities including narcotics, illegal weapons, and slave trafficking.
The Wahhabis are never called to account for their crimes because the countries that sponsor them enjoy the protection of Western powers, the US in particular. Saudi Arabia and its immediate neighbors: Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, and Oman are responsible for financing, training, arming this band of dangerous fanatics; and also for funding Wahhabi madrasas worldwide.
This week, the leading Islamic Imam of Saudi Arabia broadcast a sermon from the Great Mosque of Mecca offering the following prayer:
"O Allah, grant victory, respect, and power to our brothers in the Jihad, in Yemen, in Syria, in Iraq and everywhere. O Lord of the World, grant them victory over the godless Shiites. Grant them victory over the treacherous Jews and over the malevolent Christians, and over the untrustworthy hypocrites. O Allah, grant them help, victory, and strength."
This is the spiritual leader of the government to whom Obama and Bush Junior bowed; from whom Bill and Hilary Clinton took bribes; and whom Bush Senior defended with American lives in a 1991 war. This government has bought $76 billion dollars is US-made military hardware since 2001 and hosts a US military base. The Saudis likewise own billions in US assets and stocks---including many stocks in media outlets.
One has to wonder seriously why do the Saudis and their confederates exert so much leverage over Washington and Wall Street? That they are all major oil producers is true; but most likely that is only part of the answer. Oil is a legally traded commodity. Narcotics, weapons, and slaves are not. If a major power was engaged in these criminal activities secretly, Saudi Arabia and its satellites would be the ideal places to transit them and launder profits. Authoritarian regimes with lots of money and no transparency can hide a lot of secrets.
Now which major power is most heavily invested in these Wahhabi-run sheikdoms? By logical extension, this same major power must also have a large domestic black market of its own for these kinds of contraband. Which country, for example, is the world's leader consumer of methamphetamines and opioid drugs? The US. And which country runs covert weapons deals to people like the Mexican drug cartels? Same answer.
Which brings us to the uncomfortable matter of human trafficking. The US has been among the most internationally vocal about suppressing such things---but the thousands of Yahzidi, Syrian, Nigerian, and Somalian women and children who've been kidnapped by the Wahhabis are nonetheless never found. And given the destination of other contraband originating from the Middle East, we think that some reasonable conclusions may be drawn as to the whereabouts of these missing women and children.
But unfortunately the Ameroboob isn't inclined to connect these kinds of dots these days; after all, the NFL season is starting and we have to fight over whether some player protests the National Anthem; or welcome the first female coach; or applaud the first openly-gay player---or something. Besides, considering that one presidential candidate has real estate investments in the Arabian Peninsula and the other's been taking payoffs from the Wahhabis for decades, it's doubtful that our policy will change.
Once again this week, the American public---always with their pulse on the key global issues and ever-vigilant of their hard-won liberties---are seething with outrage. Is it because Obama made a fool of himself at the G-20 Summit? No. Maybe the revelations that George Soros was caught red-handed manipulating the Papal Visit for political gain? No. Then maybe it's because of Clinton Foundation influence-peddling, the DNC rigging of her nomination, and Corporate Media complicity in the cover-up? No, not that either.
No, the Ameroboobs are outraged, according to MSN News, because a model employed by Playboy took a picture of an older woman in a locker room and made a joke about it. MSN cites that stellar journalistic source People Magazine, as saying that 29 year-old Dani Matthews may face charges because her alleged 'victim' has complained to the LAPD. No word yet on whether Hilary Clinton will be charged for failing to disclose $225 million in taxpayer funds to the Clinton Foundation, though.
People Magazine is a subsidiary of Time, Inc., a spin-off from Time-Warner which donated over $200,000 to the Democratic National Committee in 2016.
Here in the Prozac Nation, where the personal is political, it is unofficially illegal to have a sense of humor unless it is acceptable under Politically Correct codes. Miss Dani has no right, in Postmodern America to make an off-the-cuff joke about somebody else; and of course the other person has to be a traumatized victim instead of laughing it off. People can go to jail for laughing at the wrong things in the United States these days. Miss Dani has been forced to make a formal apology for such inappropriate laughing.
It is interesting to reflect, when we look at pop-culture of earlier epochs, how Americans once had a reputation for our sense of humor. We used to be able to laugh at ourselves. Today we have an international reputation for being uptight, grim, and easily offended people. A reputation, incidentally, that is very well-deserved.
This is not to say, of course, that Americans never laugh---although they actually need cues to do it. A 'comedian' can reel off a string of blasphemies against the Church and be critically acclaimed for their irreverent humor. And the Alt-Right laughs too: just peruse the comments section on a typical Manosphere blog and there's plenty of rib-splitting material about women, Jews, and Blacks these days.
How did Americans lose their sense of humor? It is simply this: in a culture where every action is interpreted as a political statement, humor naturally centers on its offensiveness. Thus, we laugh at political enemies who are deemed to be offensive themselves; while becoming offended if someone from our own socio-political camp is offended. Sort of the situation in the Third Reich, where it was acceptable to laugh at Jews and Communists, but anyone who laughed at Hitler's moustache might get an interview with the Gestapo over it.
To cope with this gloomy atmosphere, many Americans turn to narcotics like hashish and Amphetamines and that seems to compensate for their lack of humor when binge-eating doesn't work.
But since we have a sense of humor here, we'll conclude this article with a picture of Dani Matthews, and thank her for being a normal girl who still knows how to laugh.
After a series of diplomatic snubs, White House gaffes, and seething with envy over Xi Jinping's popularity at the G-20 Summit, President Obama treated the world's leaders with a stellar performance of Ameroboob outrage. When finally given an opportunity to speak, Obama lashed out at his enemies.
"Part of what I've tried to communicate to President Xi" Obama thundered, "is that the United States arrives at its power, in part, by restraining itself."
A statement which must have raised more than a few eyebrows. The President continued: "When we see them violating international rules and norms, as we have seen in some cases in the South China Sea or in some of their behavior when it comes to economic policy, we have been very firm. And we have indicated to them that there will be consequences!"
Obama then turned his wrath on his other nemesis, Russian President Putin.
"We have had problems with cyber intrusions from Russia in the past," Obama fumed. "We cannot have a situation where countries that have significant cyber capacity start engaging in unhealthy competition or conflict through those means" (says the man who presided over the NSA spy scandal) "We're moving into a new era where a number of countries have significant cyber capacity. And frankly, we have more capability than anybody, both offensively and defensively!"
Obama also unleashed his frustrations on his rebellious satrap in The Philippines, President Rodrigo Duterte. Obama gave covert aid to Duterte to elevate him to the Filipino Presidency, but the two have had a significant falling-out almost since Duterte's first day in office. The thuggish Filipino President took Obama's rather personally, and launched into a public tirade of his own---the text of which discretion compels us to draw a veil over. Obama was forced to cancel a scheduled meeting with Duterte over the incident.
Mercifully for American prestige abroad, the G-20 Summit concluded---closing one of the disgraceful US foreign policy episodes since Bush Senior puked on the Japanese Prime Minister in 1990.
Beltway antics aside, the 2016 G-20 Summit actually did see significant and progressive initiatives come to fruition. Post-BREXIT Britain and China seem to have resolved their differences over a pending nuclear deal which will potentially revolutionize the UK's energy sector. The nations also ratified China's proposal for a joint task force to fight global financial corruption, as well as a proposal for greater joint efforts to fight international terrorism. They also set up an international task force to promote innovation in technological fields. To Obama's further mortification, the participants agreed to include the Gold-backed Chinese yuan as an IMF reserve currency.
But next year, we Americans can look forward to President Trump lecturing the G-20 on Border Walls as an economic stimulus project. Oh well...
The Manosphere Game Cult leader, The Voice of God, has penned another article attacking American opinion-writer Jonah Goldberg's critique of the Alt-Right at one of his blogs, Vox Populi. Goldberg's article, which appeared in The National Review but has apparently since been pulled, made some of the same arguments against the Alt-Right that we have made here. As quoted by Vox, Goldberg says the following:
"By their own words, the Alt-Right wants to destroy and replace Classical Liberalism and Modern Conservatism and replace it with some tribal 'identitarian' understanding of whiteness as a unifying concept. In this it shares the same modes of thought as the radical racialist Left. Hence its real goal is not just to turn the Alt-Right into the Right, pure and simple, but to transform the consciousness of all white Americans---and white people everywhere---into racial jingoists."
The 100+ commenters at Vox Populi were quick to dismiss Goldberg as a Jew and a cuckservative, the latest Game Cult neologism to disparage anyone who holds traditional American values like family, faith, freedom, and the Constitution over Alt-Right Political Correctness. Vox says in his rebuttal to Goldberg that
"Skin color exists. DNA exists. Race exists. Nations exist. But the various concepts upon which Jonah's Conservatism relies: equality, the Melting Pot, Judeo-Christian values, and a nation of immigrants, do not."
Many critics of the Manosphere Game Cult have noted the intellectual immaturity of its spokesmen, and the above statement is a good example. The leaders of Game---all of them that we have seen, without exception---seem incapable of Abstract Thought. Child psychologists, among them Piaget, Montessori, Koffka, and others all agree that the capacity for abstract reasoning develops with biological puberty; and the childlike reductionist thinking and the obsessions with sexuality these writers have does cast some legitimate doubt as to their levels of emotional adulthood.
Be that as it may, the concrete reality of things like race, gender, and nation are among the foundational aspects of Civilization, but to build a sociopolitical theory upon them is reductionist in the extreme: as Goldberg pointed out, such a philosophy is a reversion to Tribalism. DNA evidence proves, if anything, that Mankind itself is one large melting pot of races, as all humanity can now be reliably traced to single human male ancestor. The well-known phrase opposites attract in human sexuality was supported by no less an Evolutionist than Charles Darwin himself; who theorized that the natural male instinct to possess and mate with a unique female accounts for all the localized human racial disparities on the planet.
That America is not a nation of immigrants is, of course, an absurdity, as well as the notion that Christianity had no relationship to Jewish thought.
Our Declaration of Independence states "We hold these truths as self-evident: that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness---and to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."
If the Alt-Right and the Game Cult have an issue with our cuckservative Founding Fathers, the onus is upon themselves to explain exactly how such a statement contradicts Goldberg's claim that their goal is transform the consciousness of white Americans is a false statement.
Vox Populi does make an attempt to gloss over this obvious contradiction and claims that:"We are not transformatives, we are, rather, observational realists." A blatant falsehood, because the Game Cult refers to its conversion process as 'taking the Red Pill' which means freeing oneself (i.e. transforming) into a state of higher awareness achieved by adhering to their teachings. He goes to underscore the transformative nature of the Alt-Right by adding:
"Since Jonah sees no reason to give an inch to science, history, and reality, it should not be surprising that both his movement and his personal brand are in descent, if not free-fall." On the contrary: we would argue that both Classical Liberalism and Traditional Conservatism are in descent precisely because Americans have given an inch to science, history, and reality. The Alt-Right represents almost nothing based in American traditions, but instead reflects the worst elements of our historical past---not its best ones.
This is another aspect that the Alt-Right shares with the Far Left, and what makes the Alt-Right and the Game Cult so particularly dangerous. They've essentially taken the most negative propaganda stereotypes from the Feminists, Atheists, and Marxist Historical Revisionists and flipped these stereotypes into Masculine, Christian, and American virtues. Granted, America has had dark periods and toxic social movements: Economic Corporatism, the Know-Nothing Movement, organized racism, sexual anarchism, Communist infiltrations---these things existed and still do exist---but generations of men and women since our Republic was founded have worked to stamp them out and build the society our Founders envisioned.
Goldberg predicts that the Alt-Right will eventually go down in flames; in the long-term he is assuredly correct. Short-term, his prediction remains to be seen. The fundamental point that Goldberg seems to miss---at least in the segment Vox Populi quotes--- is that the Alt-Right feeds off the existence of the Cultural Marxist Left. The two movements cannot be ideologically separated and will always co-exist. Nonetheless, he is correct: the Reactionary Right is no antidote to the extremist of the Left. For all his talk of ignoring history, Vox Populi should note where Fascism, Nazism, and Stalinism---the Alt-Right of the last century ultimately led.
