The Corporate Media has spent the last week---with lots of help from the Democrats running the State of California---to sweep the questions around the UC Berkeley Riots under the rug. But the story isn't going away quite so easily: the FBI announced that they are now conducting an investigation into the riots. UC-Berkeley issued a guarded statement to the effect that Ian Miller---a Berkeley official who's been accused of participating in the riots---is among those being interviewed.
UC Berkeley President Nicholas Dirks has been claiming all along that the rioters were not connected to the university: how he knows this without knowing their identities, he hasn't explained. Nonetheless, on February 3rd, Dirks wrote in The New York Times that he had brought in "dozens" of campus police for security and excuses himself on the grounds that "one cannot prepare for the unexpected."
True: but that's not the issue here. The question is to what Dirks was expecting to happen. In the same article, Dirks admits that the rioters came well-prepared and organized. And witnesses have reliably stated that the Anarchists all arrived at about the same time. That is, the Anarchists seemed to have had some idea that the security situation was lax. They also seemed to know their way around campus; for example, marching directly to the building where Milo was speaking and coming prepared to break windows, etc.
Dirks' story seems a little more shallow when we read that UC Berkeley actually has an Antifa Organization. In fact, they were in the news last January for a Facebook page published on January 12th. From Breitbart News of January 13:
"One UC Berkeley group, named Berkeley Antifa, created a Facebook Event dedicated to disrupting and cancelling Milo's event. The initiative titled 'No Fascists on Campus: Shut Down Milo at UC Berkeley' ... 'Given the recent increase in fascist activity both on and around the UC Berkeley campus, we feel that the University's willingness to provide a platform to Milo Yiannapolous and his views, and we intend to shut this event down,' the group explains in the event description. 'We are inviting all allies and the Berkeley community to join us in making UC Berkeley a fascist-free zone.'"
So, nearly two and a half weeks before the riot, UC-Berkeley students were already publically advertising their intentions to shut down Yiannapolous' speech! How can Dirks deny with a straight face that Berkeley students were involved?
And it isn't as though so-called academic professionals wouldn't be involved in fomenting the same mob-mentality. By her own admission UC-Berkeley History professor Elena Schneider was involved in the protests. And Yvette Felarca, a Berkeley Middle-School teacher and leader of the By Any Means Necessary thugs, was not only active in the protests, but praised the actions of the rioters.
Hopefully, with the new administration, we'll see the Berkeley Swamp get a badly-needed draining. It looks like the FBI is going to have a lot of work to do.
"I, the Night Wind know many things, because I walk by night. Many strange tales of those who have stepped into the shadows...and of those things which they dare not speak."

BEVERLEY DeVOS CONFIRMED
The Trump Administration struck a potentially major blow against corrupt American Academia today as Vice-President Pence cast the tie-breaking vote confirming Beverley DeVos as US Secretary of Education. The Senate was deadlocked 50-50, necessitating Pence's vote.
DeVos' nomination was the one most bitterly fought by the Left and such RINO confederates as they could muster. There was also a contingent of well-meaning, but misguided, Conservative Senators who object to federal governance in education.
The problem with the strict Conservative position is that we are long-past the time when the 'Cold Turkey' approach to public education would have worked. We do not have the infrastructure of parental involvement and local control that we had when the original Department of Health, Education, and Welfare was established in 1953; nor when the Department of Education was spun off in 1979. Culturally, public education is going to have to be weaned away from the Government Trough.
DeVos' experience in School Choice at many local levels makes her the ideal choice for this task. She is categorically opposed to the Cultural Marxist monopoly on public education and even lists Focus on the Family as among the organizations whose goals she supports.
Clearing the Augean Stables that is American Academia---from Pre-School to Postgraduate levels will be no easy task. Administration at all levels is burgeoning with parasites and overpaid mandarins who leech off the taxpayers while contributing nothing. The faculty is filled with incompetents and crackpots---like this whacko who went berserk in New York recently. This is going to be a difficult process that requires a lot of patience, like Boris Yeltsin had to do when breaking up the Soviet Union.
DeVos' nomination is really the first step in urgently needed reforms. We have literally lost a generation to academic corruption and incompetence, and our future depends on fixing our schools and fixing them now. It's too late to quibble over government control; already---and we've cited several instances on this blog---other countries are beating us and beating us badly in technology. Our system beat theirs in the past: however flawed it was, it was still superior to other countries' systems. But today, Russia, China, Europe, and India are wiping us out in technological and engineering achievements.
American parents are largely at fault here. Our generation has been too content to rest on the laurels of what our forefathers achieved. We can sneer at the Chinese Lunar Project because we put men on the moon in 1969. But right now, China is in space and we're on the ground. While NASA is building transgender toilets, China is developing high-tech communications satellites that we have to import because we can't build them ourselves anymore.
It remains to be seen what DeVos will do, but somebody has to do something. Otherwise, we're well on our way to the Third World. As DNC member Howard Dean said of the Berkeley rioters recently: "They are our future." That maybe the future that the DNC wants, but certainly not what our Founders envisioned.

CONSERVATIVE MEN vs.RED PILL MALES
Red Pill Cult blogger Andrew Anglin of The Daily Stormer is at it again; praising a still at-large suspect who terrorized a young woman on the New York City subway. The suspect allegedly singled out a 25-year old woman, began shouting anti-Semitic vulgarities and calling her a 'dirty Jew' before shoving her down.
Anglin, whom the Red Pills admire as a supposed authority on Christianity, praised the man's actions:
"I am, of course against shoving. That's assault. You don't want to do anything illegal... But reading pro-Hitler material aloud on the subway or in other public places is perfectly legal and something that I 100% support. Everyone should consider doing this at least once a week. If we had an event like this every day in America, it would be glorious."
Personally, I think it would be glorious if New York brought back the old-school Irish and Italian cops who knew how to deal with subway punks. Things like this never used to happen on New York subways. But that was then, this is now. The manly Alpha leaders are, according to the Red Pills, those who push young women down because they happen to look Jewish.
The Red Pills all deny that they advocate violence and brutality towards women, but in reality, they do this on a fairly regular basis. Dalrock, another pseudo-Christian Red Pill blogger has been running a series of articles lately too against one of his favorite bogeymen: The Duluth Model of Abuse.
The Duluth Model is employed by various marriage counselors, and it has some recognized flaws. But Dalrock sees it everywhere; and seriously seems to believe it is part of some plot to overthrow what he calls 'Biblical Headship'; that is, the masculine position in the Christian social order. In reality, his version of Headship never existed in Christianity outside of some of the most degraded heretical cults.
Dalrock actually has argued, for example, that wives have no right to set boundaries for their husbands; to leave, argue with, or even withhold sex from an abusive husband. A woman's first duty is her moral duty to God. A religion that teaches one must deny their conscience to serve a human being is a false religion by definition.
But Anglin and Dalrock are not unique in the Manosphere for preaching violence and abuse, by any means. The Red Pills offer a religion where bullies and thugs are venerated as heroes or as spiritual leaders. Western Civilization, though, is built on a rule of law designed for males to protect and provide for women as the nurturers and educators of future generations.
The challenge for Conservatives---especially religious Conservatives---in this period of reprieve from Leftist orthodoxy that the Elections have given us, is to restore traditional ideals of masculinity again. To do so, they must push aside the Red Pill frauds and show the true way. Conservative women can be of especial value here.
We have presently a generation and a half of alienated men. Since the 1990s, men have been marginalized from our society. Some give in and embrace Male Feminism and Cultural Marxism. Others are preyed upon by the Red Pills. Some give way to violence or despair. A culture's men are its first line of defense; and its no accident that our culture has become more irrationally violent the more it alienates men.
Conservatives must show men the way back. The alternatives offered are nowhere a civilized people can go.

RONALD REAGAN DAY
For those not living in California, it may not be widely known that February 6th is Ronald Reagan Day. California and Wisconsin are the only recognizing the 40th President's birthday as a state holiday. If he were alive, Reagan would be 106 today.
Reagan was actually born in Tampico, Illinois; a small village in the rural north-central part of the state. His parents, Jack Reagan and Nellie Wilson were fairly typical of the working poor of that era: honest, down-to-earth types and people of strong faith. Reagan's nickname 'Dutch' was bestowed on him by his father. Reagan's mother was a devout Christian; and her moral influence stayed with Reagan his whole life. He worked his way through school, in the then-growing field of radio and graduated from Eureka College during the worst season of the Great Depression in 1932.
Nonetheless, Reagan was able to find work in radio and became a fairly popular sportscaster for the Chicago Cubs baseball team. He went to Hollywood in 1937 and had a decent acting career until the early 1950s. Several of his political slogans reflected back on his acting career. One notable one was his '20 Mule Team' campaign. This was from his last role on television commercials as a spokesman for Boraxo Detergent, which used the same motif.
Reagan also joined the California National Guard in 1937---in a cavalry unit, no less. He was called to active duty in 1942, but a medical disqualification prohibited him from serving overseas. He put his media skills to work however, producing training films and other media-related military functions, until 1945 when he was discharged with the rank of Captain.
Reagan served as Governor of California from 1967-1975; was an unsuccessful candidate for President in 1976; but won that post in 1980. Like President Trump today, Reagan inherited a nation in serious need of reform. The situation in 1980 saw runaway hyperinflation, growing unemployment, a population demoralized by Watergate, the Vietnam War, and an increasingly Left-Wing Media aggravating the situation. His predecessor, President Carter, was an unpopular Left-Wing politician. Internationally, there was an embassy takeover in Iran; a belligerent Cuba; growing Jihadism; the unresolved issue of Vietnam War MIAs; and the Soviet Union was running the table in geopolitics over the incompetent Carter.
The one advantage that Reagan had over Trump is the general public in 1980 was not as degenerated and ignorant as it is today. Reagan only had a few years of Neo-Liberalism to reverse: Trump has a few decades. Both faced a hostile media and academia, though it is far worse for Trump. Reagan, though, had the disadvantage of a hostile Congress---which Trump does not have. But in 1980, the Democratic Party was not as radicalized as today; thus Reagan was able to secure bipartisan support occasionally.
Reagan's achievements were phenomenal and predicated on his belief in the American spirit and adherence to the Constitution. He laid the groundwork for the destruction of the USSR; rebuilt our military; chastised Castro and various other foreign troublemakers. Reagan's policy in the Middle East has been criticized; but he was laying the groundwork for a NATO-type alliance there. Unfortunately, his policies were destroyed beyond repair by his successors.
Reagan helped root Communism out of Latin America and our relations with those countries were at their peak during his term. He also established new relations with China, which helped lead that country out of the Maoist Era to a global partner. Again, his successors destroyed most of his good work here.
Domestically, Reagan cut down the arrogant power of the Federal bureaucracy; and cleaned up corruption to a great extent. He brought the Justice Department down on the scourges of the drug problem and spreading religious cults. Reagan nearly wiped out the Moonies and the Scientologists as well as bringing down corrupt televangelists and others.
In 1986, Reagan signed an Amnesty Bill bringing millions of undocumented workers into the legal, taxpaying labor force. Trump would be well-advised to look to that example. The move helped revitalize our agricultural and service sectors.
Reagan was also the last president to spend significant attention on our infrastructure and especially our decaying public education system. Most of his proposals in this sector was blocked by Democratic Party opposition, which then---as now---was heavily funded by teachers' unions. Nonetheless, Reagan laid the groundwork for many subsequent local initiatives.
The career of Ronald Reagan exemplifies well the archetype of Americanism. No sooner had he left office in 1989 than the Neocons and Cultural Marxists set about to undo his great works. But the Reagan Legacy lives on. The struggle for the future of the Republican Party today is between those true to what he built, and those who aren't.

BOYCOTT AGAINST IVANKA TRUMP BACKFIRES ON WHACKO LEFT
The US Corporate Media has been making a fuss over Leftist boycotts of Ivanka Trump's fashion shoe-line. Nordstrom Department stores---a company based in ultra-Leftist Seattle---recently dropped Ivanka's line citing falling sales.
Leave it, though, to the Chinese Media once again to tell the whole story. A report in the Business Section of The Global Times today stated that production levels of Ivanka's line hadn't been affected by the boycott. Instead, management at the two Chinese factories manufacturing Ivanka's shoes predict a sales increase; based on current production statistics.
Two factories in China's Guangdong Province produce the Ivanka Trump Line of women's fashion shoes.
Jodi Li, Director of Women's Fashion at the Sai Ni Company, told The Global Times that Nordstrom's market-share was insignificant. "We always pay attention to the situation in the US." she said, "As to Nordstrom's decision, it had no major impact on the orders that our factory receives. We have already 10,000 outstanding orders for Ivanka shoes for next season."
Sai Ni is exclusively an export company. According to Miss Li, they have had a contract with Ivanka Trump since 2010. An executive with the second company, who requested anonymity, concurred that Nordstrom's cancellation had no impact on sales volumes.
Nordstrom, it should be noted, has both its flagship department store and corporate headquarters in Downtown Seattle: a part of the city noted for its high crime rate and often violent riots. The viral video of the recent demonstration calling for burning down the White House occurred just across the corner from the Nordstrom store. We'll let the readers draw their own conclusions as to Nordstrom's real motives here.
Meanwhile, if our gentlemen readers are still considering a nice Valentine's Day gift for a significant other in their lives: the Ivanka Shoe Line is still available at Macy's; which has so far been resisting Whacko Left boycott pressure. Just a suggestion...

SOUTH AFRICA SHAMES AMERICAN ACADEMIA
Today is Super Bowl Sunday; wherein the politically-correct National Football League showcases the one thing that American Academia still excels in producing: millionaire sports celebrities. And no doubt there will be plenty of the annual male-shaming and controversial Hollywood outbursts and Corporate Media ads. A far cry from when football was about sportsmanship, teamwork, and community spirit.
But while our non-athletic university students were busy spending the Summer protesting over transgender toilets and the Fall rioting against democracy, European scholars were on the job. A team of geologists from South Africa, Norway, and Germany announced a major discovery this weekend of a submerged prehistoric sub-continent in the Indian Ocean.
Researches began on the tiny island nation of Mauritius, a former French colonial outpost east of Madagascar. The island is mostly a shipping hub in the international spice and perfume trade.
Geologists found samples of pure volcanic zirconium crystals on the island's beaches which were carbon-dated much older than the island itself. The crystals were believed to have been borne to Mauritius during millennia of typhoons and tidal waves, to which the island is susceptible. South African professor Dr. Louis Ashwal of the University of Witwatersrand began to have his doubts.
Ashwal theorized that the similarity and quantity of zirconium discovered had to have its origins in a major volcanic eruption. After excavating lava beds on Mauritius, Ashwal discovered identical zirconium crystal embedded in the lava-rock: proving that the samples existed on a land-mass locally.
The team published a paper and concluded that Mauritius sits atop a submerged lost island called Mauritania that geologists have long theorized existed, but could never locate. The island was submerged 84 million years ago during a period of continental drift.
Ashwal and his team are currently arranging deep-sea expeditions to confirm the theory. It is hoped that the expedition will discover fossil remains of prehistoric life; as well as add to our knowledge of continental drift; volcanic activities below the seas; and possible discoveries related to polar-shift and climate-change theories.
The discovery is an example of what Academia does when it's functioning properly. Doing things like providing invaluable information about geological history that may well prove useful in future projects that will benefit all mankind. Man conquers Nature when he understands how Nature operates; and Man acts according to those Laws. Beating up Trump supporters and building unisex bathrooms doesn't factor much in the great scheme of things.
And for that matter, neither do controversial half-time shows or MVP awards which are about as phony the Hollywood Oscars' ceremonies. Maybe we should look at South Africa and Europe for models reforming our own educational system.

THE BERKELEY RIOT SCANDAL DEEPENS
After President Trump threatened to eliminate funding for the UC-Berkeley after a violent riot there, the Academic and Corporate Media establishments went into full-damage control mode. UC President Nicholas Dirks---already under investigation by the State of California for misuse of public funds---is also under a cloud of suspicion for removing security forces previous to the Milo Yiannapolous speech.
Now it turns out, that one the thugs who beat a Trump supporter during the riot is allegedly actually a paid employee of UC-Berkeley. Ian Miller, who works as a Digital Communication Specialist at $70,000 per year, boasted about the attacks on social media. And we're almost willing to bet a steak dinner that Miller won't turn out to be the only one involved in the riot, either.
If Miller is indeed involved in the crimes that he boasted of, he should of course be indicted for them. But the important thing in the story is that it adds reasonable suspicion to the belief that Dirks' involvement in the riots was more than passive. The trail of culpability in the Berkeley Riot is starting to lead very strongly in the direction of the UC-Berkeley Administration.
The fact that UC-Berkeley administrative staff were agents of the Antifa, would have put them in a position, presumably, to have known that security arrangements the night of the Milo speech were weak. And it's been reported reliably from several witnesses at Berkeley that the Anarchists came to the event especially well-prepared and well-organized. Robert Reich and some of the Anarchist apologists have even noted this anomaly; and have suggested on these grounds a false-flag organized by Milo.
But more reasonably, the evidence is beginning to suggest that UC-Berkeley administrators were the ones working in some kind of concert with the Anarchists. Dirks' extreme negligence in providing adequate security is inexplicable otherwise. That aspect is the whole flaw in Reich's theory: because even if Milo's people staged the attacks, they would still have needed Dirks' complicity to accomplish it.
At this point, it would be reasonable for the Trump Administration to order the FBI to step in and begin putting Messrs. Dirks and Miller; along with the UC-Berkeley Administration and the chieftains of the Bay Area Anarchists under a microscope. These characters definitely need to do a lot of explaining to the American taxpayers and Berkeley crime victims about what went wrong on the campus that night.
