John Horvat of the Return to Fatima blog has written a really good article on the latest Cultural Marxist propaganda tactic: Prayer-Shaming. Horvat has noted a recent trend in the Corporate Media of bringing on pundits and commentators who sneer after tragic incidents that prayer is useless; that community leaders offering prayer are evading responsibility, etc.
It's not a new phenomenon for Liberals to do this; but until recently they rarely spouted such sentiments in public. I recall a Leftist talk-show named Mike Malloy who routinely ridiculed prayer. Malloy got away with it because it was well known that he was a militant atheist. After a natural disaster or mass-murder, Malloy would laugh at survivors who attributed their survival to prayer and Divine Providence. "What about all of the people who died?" he would roar. "Do you think that they didn't pray too?"
As Horvat points out in his article, these people don't understand what prayer is or how it actually functions. But that aside, people like Malloy also don't understand Divine Providence. What may seem an evil to us may not so be in the larger scheme of Divine Will. In the Lord's Prayer, we ask that God's Will be done and that we be delivered from evil. Those whose prayers to live through a disaster weren't granted have presumably gone to Heaven in accordance with the Divine Will.
The conundrum which atheists propose dovetails into the larger question as to why God permits evil to exist or occur at all. The question has no simple answer, but suffice it to say here that all Creation is by metaphysical necessity imperfect vis-a-vis the Creator. Thus sin and evil are inevitable; but by their existence God may try not only our own Faith, but those of others. An evil man like George Soros isn't necessarily 'blessed' with undeserved wealth, power, and long life; and neither are his victims 'cursed' with the poverty and misfortunes that his crimes bring about. These are means by which God is ultimately glorified as Christ taught us in His parable about The Rich Man and Lazarus.
Thus it follows logically that times of affliction are the times when we must draw closer to---not further from---God in prayer. As the Old Testament prophet Habakkuk stated for us:
"And then God replied: 'Write down the revelation and engrave it on the tablets, so that heralds may run and proclaim it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the ultimate end and will not prove false. Though its fulfillment lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and suddenly when it does. You see that the enemy is arrogant and his desires are perverse, but the just shall live by Faith.'" (Hab. ii:2-4).
As Horvat notes, the real issue with these pundits is that they do not believe in prayer in the first place. "For them, prayer is a kind of therapeutic exercise for weak individuals who cannot face reality," he writes. Reality, to the unbelievers, is that the world is an evil place without any mitigation of the Good, which we must see through Faith. This leads to a point where Horvat says, "When they fail in life as all eventually do, they do not understand the meaning of suffering and become resentful."
And that resentment is really what is behind the Cultural Marxists' hatred for prayer and faith. It's a double-edged psychological sword: they hate the Faithful for finding peace in suffering and envy them at the same time.
Horvat makes the good point also that our political leaders are largely to blame for the prayer-shamers with their pat "our thoughts and prayers are with the victims" rhetoric that they cut-and-paste into every post-tragedy official statement. As Christians, we should deplore that kind of abuse and back our words with deeds as St. James rightfully says. The Corporate Media ignores those actions at the same time they pooh-pooh the power of prayer.
Our answer to prayer-shaming thus should be to respond with even more prayer. The Media is overtly hostile to acts of faith: as they are to everything good.
"I, the Night Wind know many things, because I walk by night. Many strange tales of those who have stepped into the shadows...and of those things which they dare not speak."

THE HUMILIATING DOWNFALL OF THE TRADITIONALIST WORKERS PARTY
The last two years haven't been kind to the Alt-RINOs. They've seen one project after another go down in ignominious defeat. And usually these downfalls have been occasioned by their own stupidity.
The Traditionalist Workers Party is an infamous Red Pill group; mostly noted for violent riots on about the same scale as Antifa. It's leadership collectively has a lengthy track-record of ending up in jail. Currently, that is where Matthew Heimbach---its top leader---is. Heimbach was jailed on a Domestic Violence charge after the TWP's #2 man, Matt Parrot, caught him in bed with Parrot's wife.
Heimbach, incidentally, is also married---to the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Parrot.
It sounds like Heimbach was only being an 'Alpha'. After all, the Red Pills are opposed to monogamy and encourage cuckolding other men's wives---creating Alpha Widows, in their parlance. However, Mr. Parrot apparently was unimpressed. He and Heimbach came to blows, and Heimbach threw him to the floor and began choking him. He might have killed him had police not arrived. The sight of the naked Mrs. Parrot in bed watching the nude Heimbach on top of Mr. Parrot must have been quite a sight.
Parrot angrily quit the TWP. Now leaderless, the group appears to have folded. Naturally, the Alpha-Boys are blaming the whole thing on Mrs. Parrot and women in general. One kook posted this insightful comment on Gab:
"It's impossible to build a White Nationalist movement because white women are disloyal whores who will betray their white husband the first chance they get...Just look what happened to the TWP. The leader's white wife betrayed him and now the movement is now basically finished."
Yes---that's another typical Red Pill trait: blaming others. When Heimbach was arrested for Assault and Disorderly Conduct at a 2016 pro-Trump rally, he tried to claim in Court that Trump incited him to violence. He managed to get himself excommunicated from the Orthodox Church for preaching Red Pill doctrines against those of the Church.
And thus was the end of the TWP and its leader, Matthew Heimbach. It seems that every one who takes the Red Pill ends up in disgrace as a result.

FBI DISMANTLES INTERNET NARCOTIC RING
The Sessions Steamroller is on the move again; this time on the US-Canadian Pacific Coast. In a surprise move, the details of which are only now becoming public, the FBI took Victor Ramos---CEO of Phantom Secure---into custody in Bellingham, Washington. Today, indictments were opened against Ramos and four of his fugitive confederates. Phantom Secure is (or was) a Canadian company.
Phantom Secure was selling a type of 'smart-phone' with sophisticated encryption software. The phones with Phantom software automatically disconnected from GPS, Internet, 'the Cloud' and re-routed through offshore phone-banks. It also had some type of locking mechanism by which the phone records couldn't be accessed by third parties. This type of software isn't illegal; but some quick-thinking by FBI Special Agent Nicholas Cheviron during a recent drug raid led him to suspect that more was afoot here than basic privacy concerns.
With our new and more efficient Justice Department, Sessions took Cheviron's suspicions seriously and set up a joint sting-operation with Canadian and Australian authorities. Ramos got caught red-handed working with criminal gangs like the Sinaloa Cartel, Hell's Angels, and to the Cuban and Venezuelan Governments (nota bene).
Ramos actually met with undercover agents posing as drug traffickers on several occasions; in one case offering one agent---who claimed to represent a recently arrested drug kingpin---an even more sophisticated app to better evade law enforcement. In one instance, he told undercover Canadian Mounties that "we made this phone specifically for drug trafficking too."
Ramos and his cohorts were charged with Racketeering, Conspiracy to Distribute Narcotics, and Aiding and Abetting Narcotic Traffickers. All five of these jokers are subject to a life sentence if convicted. Phantom Secure was broken up by the Canadians, The FBI estimates that there are 20,000 such phones worldwide: all of which are useless now because the software is no longer supported.
This is the first time that the FBI has targeted a communications company (successfully) for knowingly providing criminal enterprises with technology to carry out their crimes. It's an interesting case from that standpoint. There's always been some suspicion that some companies market toward the Underworld. This is the first attempt actually to prove it. When Special Agent Cheviron noticed that drug-gangs were using this technology, he looked into it further. Most of us would have been inclined to assume it was a widely-used app because it's privacy features were so good. Cheviron deserves a round of applause for thinking outside of the box and bringing about the downfall of a major facilitator behind our narcotic epidemic.

RAINBOW REX EJECTED FROM TRUMP ADMINISTRATION
The President today initiated a long-overdue shake-up in the State Department---starting with the ouster of do-nothing Swamp-RINO Rex Tillerson.
President Trump has run his Administration much like a CEO, appointing department heads who are getting the job done. Sessions, Zinke, Carson, Perdue, DeVos, and others have been doing an outstanding job of swamp-draining, cleaning up corruption, and making Government work efficiently again. Not so at the State Department. Rainbow Rex hasn't bothered even replacing Obama-Era diplomatic staff until Trump intervened. Tillerson even rejected a joint Justice Department and Congressional memo to defund Soros-backed recipients of State Department grants. Our withdrawals from corrupt UN committees and obligations were completely the work of President Trump: Tillerson contributed nothing.
Tillerson never retracted even one of Obama's policies unless Trump himself overruled him. He continued Obama's policy of brinkmanship with China and North Korea, and failed intervention in Syria and Yemen. Trump actually met with some of these leaders and came away with record trade-deals instead of war.
The President has suggested CIA Director Mike Pompeo as a replacement. Pompeo has several good qualities recommending him. He's a more solid Conservative than Tillerson and was formerly connected to the Tea Party Republicans. Pompeo is a Constitutionalist and will bring about much-needed reform within the State Department proper. We can probably expect him to terminate Deep State-Era programs and give the department a thorough house-cleaning.
On geopolitical issues, Pompeo is a little more shaky. He is anti-Russian, his Middle East positions uninformed, and he is hawkish on domestic espionage and transparency. Most of these however are not positions that he is able to act upon unilaterally. Trump overall seems to be redirecting American Foreign Policy toward free-trade as opposed to militarism; thus the State Department will have to, by necessity, move further away from Clinton/Kerry Era aggressiveness.
At any rate, Trump deserves our applause for having the courage to admit that he made a mistake in appointing Tillerson and correcting that mistake. The Corporate Media spins these kinds of personnel changes as symptomatic of weakness within the Administration but nothing could be further from the truth. It's a sign that the Administration is quite vibrant and strong: and willing to push aside the political dead-weight when necessary. And Tillerson was about as dead-weight as it gets.

IS LIBERALISM A MENTAL DISORDER?
There is an interesting discussion going on at Adrienne's blog over what is causing Leftists to embrace such obviously insane policy positions. Michael Savage, a talk-radio provocateur, coined an expression a few years ago that "liberalism is a mental disorder."
More accurately, we would suggest here that Leftist positions and behaviors are symptomatic of underlying psychological pathology. This is especially true among members of the Corporate Media. Everything from looking up to Satanist Sally Quinn as a role model to their repeated public tantrums and dissemination of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories, Media personnel are pretty clearly a mentally-unbalanced lot.
At the top levels of the Far Left: the Clintons, Podesta Brothers, and George Soros, for example; power and profit are the motivating factors. They've got good rackets going, fueled by payoffs from special interests and a compliant Media which aids and abets their criminal behaviors. But what about the rank-and-file Leftists?
We've asked the same question in a more lighthearted vein when discussing Trump Derangement Syndrome. The day after Trump was elected, an Ohio man immolated himself in a children's playground using Trump Campaign paraphernalia as fuel. The most recent manifestation is the Mayor of Oakland who's made herself effectively a human shield defending MS-13 thugs from arrest and deportation. In between those times, numerous Leftists have wound up in jails, psych-wards, the unemployment line, hospitals, or even dead because they lost it in public and became a danger to themselves and others.
So we argue that it's too broad a statement to claim that Liberalism is a mental disorder. Some are Leftists---especially younger people---who've been politically and socially educated by the degenerate Media and the public schools. They haven't had enough life experience to see through the tissue of deception veiling their mind's eye. Some Liberals are so because they (rightfully) fear the political power of the Alt-RINOs without realizing that those clods are a tiny---but loud---minority whose power is exaggerated by the MSM.
But for those Leftists who should know better, some deeper mental problem seems to be a driving factor. Mass-communications have made it possible for people teetering on the brink of mental collapse to build support-networks with others just as far gone as they are. Then they project their collective neuroses onto society-at-large or onto some political, religious, or ethnic group.
Thus, to answer Adrienne's question: there's no single answer. Radicalism always attracts the morally degenerate, the ignorant, the fearful, and the loonies. They make up the backbone of the postmodern so-called 'Progressives' just as earlier generations of them turned to Jacobinism, Marxism, Bolshevism, Naziism, etc. They typically aren't too dangerous until they achieve positions of actual power. Our job in a Democracy is to prevent that from happening---and exposing them for what they are is the best safeguard.

RED PILL EBONICS
Like other cults, the Red Pills and their Alt-RINO camp-followers are fond of creating neologisms and nonsense-phrases to bandy among themselves to appear intelligent. We're all familiar with this trick: stage magicians will utter cryptic, meaningless phrases as part of the illusion that they create. In primitive cultures, shamans and witch-doctors do much the same thing.
Vox Day has coined a new term to add the glossary of Red Pill Ebonics: corception. Vox explained that there is no term in the English Language which favorably describes his dishonesty in rhetoric, hence the need for a new word.
Corception is defined by him thus: "a word to express the concept of something that is technically false but rhetorically true that tends to guide one to the truth." The truth, of course, meaning how Vox subjectively defines it. After all, it has to be a subjective truth (i.e. an opinion); otherwise the term 'technically false' could not logically apply.
There actually are words in English describing this already. The more general term is sophistry; but the most accurate one would political correctness.
Political Correctness was originally a term coined by Bolshevik commander, Vladimir Lenin. Lenin held that if words or actions promoted the 'truth' of Communism; then it was inherently a good act. Western Leftist whackos in Academia revived the phrase during the 1990's to justify their ideological purges in our public schools and universities.
Corception essentially means the same practice to a different end. Vox and other Red Pills are known for spreading falsehoods that they know to be untrue; but since it serves the greater glory of their cult, it isn't lying, according to them.
"Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor"---The 9th Commandment.
It's impossible for any proposition in an argument to be factually false and rhetorically true. Not only does this notion violate the 9th Commandment; it violates the laws of Formal Logic handed down to us from the time of the Greeks. And it even violates Common Sense. How could a falsehood in one's mind be transformed into a truth by one's mouth? This is why all forms of 'political correctness' are inherently unscriptural, unethical, illogical, and just plain stupid.
Vox has the arrogance to write that, "I'm aware that many, if not most of you will fail to appreciate this kind of thought-exercise." This is the Cultist coming out of him. He's basically telling his credulous followers that if they fail to understand what he's talking about, they should simply defer to his superior Alpha Mind.
This episode is again yet another example of the 'Alt-Right' are nothing but doppelgangers of the Radical Left. Right down even to their abuse of the English Language.

SHOOTING HOAX CRACKPOTS JAILED
Two suspects are sitting in Texas jails tonight after being netted in a four-month campaign of harassment and intimidation committed against survivors, family, and church officials following last November's Sutherland Springs Massacre. Readers might recall that a madman with illegally-owned weapons murdered 26 people during a worship service before being (permanently) stopped by a neighbor with a hunting rifle.
Some people, however, believed the story to be hoax; although what plausible false-flag could center on a Christian-killing thug who ended up shot by an armed citizen before the police arrived is anybody's guess. Robert Ussery, the ringleader of the harassment campaign was arrested on Tuesday; along with his consort, Jodi Mann.
It should come as no surprise to anyone who's followed these stories to learn that Ussery had "an extensive criminal record" according to Texas authorities. He was arrested most recently after a violent altercation at a White Lives Matter rally. Previous charges include Assault, Domestic Violence, and Weapons violations.
Ussury had been harassing victims of Sutherland Springs both online and in person. There was little police could do until he crossed the legal boundary of making in-person threats on Sunday to Pastor Frank Pomeroy. According to witnesses, Ussery threatened to "hang you {Rev. Pomeroy} from the highest tree and p--- on your corpse." The Pomeroys had apparently gotten some kind of restraining order because police arrested Ussery and Mann for criminal trespass and resisting arrest. Ussery also faces drug charges after illegal Marijuana was found on both his person and in his system.
Pastor Pomeroy's 14 year-old daughter was among those killed during the massacre.
"He keeps insisting that my daughter never existed and making demands that I produce her birth certificate." the pastor told KTSA-San Antonio. "He keeps trying to bait us into doing something stupid."
The San Antonio Express-News stated that Ussery runs a website called Side Thorn which claims that over 30 mass-murders and terrorist incidents nationwide were staged by the Government. Jodi Mann, aged 56, is known on the Internet as The Conspiracy Granny.
Mrs. Pomeroy told the British newspaper The Guardian that Ussery accuses church-members on regular basis of participating in the alleged cover-up; variously claiming that the children either never existed or are in hiding.
What a couple of kooks.
But this goes back to what Pope Francis said about weaponizing the tongue. Idiots like Ussery are triggered by other crackpots who incite them over the Internet, talk-radio, and elsewhere. People like Ussery end up in jail while the people who encouraged them get paid interviews and seven-figure media deals. And it's not just on the Extreme Right---although they're the ones upon whom the Media focuses. We've seen plenty of Left-Wing violence instigated by the likes of Keith Olbermann, Stephen Colbert, and Bernie Sanders.
This is yet another example, though, of why Christians and Conservatives need to call out screwballs who are giving the entire political Right a bad name. There's no room in our movement for rioters, stalkers, promoters of political violence, racists, male supremacists, etc. The Left needs force and fraud to uphold its ideals: we do not. To extremists, might makes right; but to us right makes might.
