COMING SOON TO A NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU

    As predicted here when the story broke, the Western Media Cartels ignored the horrific massacre perpetrated by Obama's moderate rebels against the people of Zara, Syria. As details have begun to surface, including many from the terrorists themselves via social media, the truth about the nature of these freedom fighters and those who support them are coming to light.

    On Saturday, the Syrian envoy to the United Nations submitted a formal demand to the Security Council that Al-Nusra and its affiliated groups be proscribed as international terrorist organizations---a move previously vetoed by the US, UK, France, and the Neo-Nazi government in Ukraine. Syria also presented evidence that these terrorist groups have been aided and abetted by the governments of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Dubai and called for official condemnation of these regimes.

   It's highly unlikely that the UN will act unless France changes its position---which, given French public sentiment today could conceivably happen. This would put Obama, Cameron, and their confederates in position where accountability for their crimes could no longer be ignored.

    Hundreds of protestors demonstrated yesterday in Constantinople (Istanbul) against Turkish complicity in Al-Nusra's crimes. Today it was reported that Allied forces launched a counterattack to recover Zara from the terrorist forces.

      Al-Nusra has received direct support from the Obama Administration and its parrots in the American Media Cartel. Nearly all US news reports from Syria come either from the Pentagon or from the Al-Nusra front-group, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Al-Nusra is using US-made weapons including 500 TOW missile batteries shipped to them last January. Obama has dispatched an unknown number of his LGBTQ-friendly elite special forces to train and equip Al-Nusra. Al-Nusra trains and equips from secret, CIA-backed bases in Turkey and their forces augmented by professional soldiers from the fanatical Wahhabi regimes in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar, and Kuwait. Al-Nusra was formerly known as Al-Qaeda Syria before Western PR agencies suggested that a name change would polish its image in the West.

YET ANOTHER CAMPUS RIOT

     Elements of the Radical Left are engaging in yet another hostile takeover of an American academic campus; this time in Washington State. The pattern is the same as elsewhere: a collection of dirtbags who were accepted into Seattle University because they represented both diversity and a cash cow for greedy administrators are in revolt. Backed by Seattle street thugs and Leftist interest groups, they've taken over some administrative buildings. To the applauding local media, they're doing photo-ops; rolling off their lists of demands, like unrolling sheets of toilet paper---which is all that any of their demands are actually worth.

       It's not surprising that this latest uprising---completely orchestrated like all the others---would target a Jesuit-run university. Like all major cities on the North Pacific Coast, Seattle is a vipers-nest of anti-Catholic bigotry and Bolshevik-style radicalism. This is a city which has Communists on the City Council and a monument to V.I. Lenin in a public square; so one can see the operative mentality prevalent there. We'll certainly not see protestors shot down and hauled off to prison, as happened recently not far from Seattle in Burns, Oregon. In Burns, the protestors were predominantly white Christians who were protesting what they saw as unconstitutional policies by the US government. That kind of thing simply can't be tolerated in today's America. 

         Some on the American political Right are fuming over this latest outbreak of anarchism, but why should they? This event, and others like them, were entirely predictable. For the last several decades, the Ameroboob sat on his hands and did nothing while elements of the Far Left purged Academia of traditionalist elements. They voiced no objection as schools became dumbed-down; controlled and regimented by PC thought police; classical education pushed out of curricula; standards dropped; drugs overprescribed; grades inflated---from that, what did the American public expect was going to happen? Was destroying the educational systems and its standards supposed to produce excellence?

         No, the American public wanted equality of outcome in education, instead of excellence. And they were willing to pay hyperinflated prices for it, too. The Academic Mafia was only too eager to cash in, by giving the American public the kinds of schools it wanted: national champion sports teams and illiterate student bodies. Under such circumstances, overthrowing university administrations and campus riots were bound to happen.

           The American educational system is now so dysfunctional that its existence is probably more damaging to society than beneficial. Should there be public schools? Of course: they work well in most other countries. But why do they work well there and fail here?

            Politicians will tell us that American schools are failing because of lack of funding---even though foreign schools do better at a fraction of the price. Others will say that immigrant groups are the problem---though foreign countries like Belgium and Canada seem to do well in spite of having two official languages. And let us not forget that American schools were once internationally competitive---on lower budgets and with large immigrant populations.

            The truth that no one wants to face is this: foreign schools are doing better because parents in those countries take a proactive interest in their children's education and hold school authorities accountable. American parents are not doing that at all. They're evading their responsibilities and blaming everyone except whom they should blame: themselves.

             But no US politician or pundit will ever dare speak the truth. The truth in today's America means facing reality and taking responsibility and voters don't anybody who would tell them that.

             It used to be said that "Our children are our future." Take a good look at the campus revolts, the street riots, and the disruptions at political rallies. Because the future has arrived, and that is what it looks like. All the money poured into Academia over the last three decades and all the parental control that Americans passed on to Educrats has borne its fruit in places like Seattle University.

             And one thing that Americans will soon learn about the future: what you neglected to do in the past made your future what it is.

              

          

FEATURE FRIDAY, MAY 13TH EDITION

    When Americans think of the police today, they get an image of a being in full body armor, with a cynical detached outlook on life, answering to a clipped-haired, mean-faced Lesbian police chief. The kinds of people who lead 10 year-old girls from schools in handcuffs for drawing on their desks; but stand by and do nothing while violent street thugs destroy whole city blocks. The kinds of people who arrest teenagers for drinking beer; but won't go near a Jihadist mosque. Detectives who leave no stone unturned to ferret out hate crimes and sex scandals; but ignore organized crime. People like that.

     Few modern Americans know what our police used to look like; and what they would still look like if we had a sane culture. Once upon a time, a city police force was typically composed of highly-trained professionals---usually battle-hardened ex-military men commanded by an experienced leader. The police had to walk a fine line: to protect and to serve meant to defend the Constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms of the citizenry both from the criminal element and from those who would abuse their power.

     Thus, this weekend's entertainment recommendation is a television series, which aired from 1957-1960 on NBC, M Squad.

     M Squad follows the career of Lt. Frank Ballinger, a member of the elite detective unit known by the series title.  The M Squad's duty was dealing with imminent threats to public safety and order. The unit was commanded by Capt. Grey, a character type worthy of mention because it is one never depicted today: an elderly but respected leader. Grey's character comes across as a tough, experienced man who earned his way to command the elite M Squad, and---though clearly approaching the end of his career---has the respect of Ballinger and the other men. This type rarely is seen in modern culture and never at all in today's media.

        Today, the male archetype of the aging hero is an object of ridicule and scorn. This is especially true in some elements of the Manosphere---mainly those following the Game Cult---who hold that sexual prowess alone is worthy of the respect of other men. They could benefit a lot from programs like these; where masculinity is accurately depicted because (in the mid 20th Century) the entertainment industry knew what it was.

       And such people could learn from Ballinger's character as well. Not only did he respect men who actually earned it; he earned it himself. Frank Ballinger was not the smart-mouthed, low-IQ, bad-boy-in-uniform 'hero' Hollywood palms off on us today. He was tough, smart, and determined because he was fighting for a value system in which he actually believed. Those values were, in the main, the freedom and dignity of the individual. Whether thwarting a terrorist attack, or rescuing a kidnapped medical specialist just in time to save a little girl's eyesight; Ballinger knows that others are depending on him.

       Today's Hollywood 'heroes' are simply automatons who do what they're told; in juxtaposition to that, the Manospherian Gamers offer us an 'Alpha' who looks out only for himself. Neither one of these represent what masculinity actually is. Service and protection is not merely the job of the police; it's inherent in the masculine nature. That's the reason why---in more enlightened times---police departments were overwhelmingly male. And that's also---unlike today---the police actually served some useful social purpose.

       And that is the type of masculinity our culture needs desperately today.

        M Squad is also interesting because it reflects an era when NBC actually took television production seriously. The plots are well-written and exciting; the action scenes (and there are plenty of them) were filmed out-of-studio and quite realistic. Hollywood veteran Lee Marvin starred as Ballinger, and the music for the series was performed by Count Basie.

         Real men, lots of action, engaging stories, and great music---one can hardly go wrong with M Squad. Several episodes are free and in the public domain, mostly on Dailymotion. A DVD set is also available.

                              

MODERATE MOSLEMS SLAUGHTER AN ENTIRE VILLAGE

     Allied news services reported today yet another horrific crime perpetrated by the Religion of Peace. The Syrian Intifada, instigated by the Obama Administration and its NATO confederates, launched a surprise attack on the village of Zara in Hama Province Thursday night. The Syrian garrison, heavily outnumbered, was forced to withdraw and fall back to Hor Benafseh.

       As the Allied forces regrouped, civilian refugees from Zara began entering Hor Benafseh. The story they all told shocked even the battle-hardened Syrian soldiers. The Jihadist demons had no sooner seized Zara than they rounded up the residents and massacred the adult population in cold blood; abducted the young women and children and sent them from the village.

       This act was not committed by ISIS, but by the Al-Nusra Front; a gang of moderate rebels armed, trained, and equipped by Western democracies.

        Syrian Prime Minister Halaqi issued a press release this morning extending national condolences to the people of Zara and condemning "a heinous crime against the whole world." Halaqi ordered medical teams from Damascus to set up emergency hospitals in the area.

        The Western Media likely will not report this story today. The Western media has been utterly complicit in encouraging Al-Nusra and spreading propaganda on their behalf. The American and British media have been the worst offenders of all. They repeatedly quote as a source on Syrian affairs a London-based cutout called the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the head of which is an escaped felon from a Syrian prison and member of Al-Nusra.
Al-Nusra was originally known as Al-Qaeda Syria, but changed its name on the advice of Western PR agents.

         The Syrian Intifada began in April in violation of a ceasefire negotiated between the Allies and NATO. Subsequent events have proven that this ceasefire was simply another act of the duplicity which has come to define Obama's foreign policy. Some 20,000 Al-Nusra soldiers escaped into Turkey as refugees where they reorganized, were re-armed by NATO and joined by troops posing as rebels from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Dubai. On a given signal, this force swept back into Western Syria and their cells and sympathizers rose up.

        Fortunately, the Syrian Army and the Hezbollah Militia rose to the challenge and the Syrian Intifada has very nearly collapsed, much to the mortification of NATO leaders and their satraps. But Zara is a reminder that the job is far from over; and should, but probably won't, give pause to the people of the West and cause them to consider what their own leaders are guilty of doing.

THE MARRIAGE STRIKE

    Brad Wilcox, an operative at an American think-tank called Prager University, released a video recently titled Be A Man. Get Married. This video has caused a lot of controversy in certain segments of the Manosphere, and a good critique of it was published by blogger Wintery Knight. The link to the whole article is here

    The author correctly points out that Wilcox glaringly omits any allusion to Feminist culpability in crippling American women's education for marriage. But, as destructive as Feminism has been, Wilcox misses the bigger picture completely.

    The only marriage demographic that has been increasing in the US is between American-born men and foreign-born women. Such marriages end in divorce at nearly 1/4 the rate of indigenous unions. This fact alone shows that men are indeed willing to 'man up and marry'. When one considers the social and economic barriers to marrying a foreign girl, the numbers would no doubt be higher if we had more marriage-friendly laws.

     And that is where Wilcox and Prager---along with Dr. Helen Smith, whom the blog author quotes---go wrong. Our culture is not inherently misogynist as Feminists claim, nor inherently misandrist as certain segments of the Manosphere claim. Gender Polarity is inherent in human nature; for a culture to be inherently anti-male, anti-female, or anti-marriage is a metaphysical impossibility. The issue in our culture today is that it is fundamentally anti-heterosexual and anti-family. There is a huge difference, as we shall see.

      What the Feminists, the Gay Mafia, and the Game/PUA crowd really want to avoid are healthy relationships with, and commitment to, the opposite sex; and that includes the responsibility of raising children. These interests---which only appear to be competing on the surface---play into the Cultural Marxist paradigm wherein the State assumes the responsibilities belonging rightfully to the family. The family is the basic social unit of a civilization; hence overthrowing the family is the way to overthrow a civilization.

        To these ends, various laws and social policies have been enacted and enforced: anti-heterosexual policies on speech, and so-called 'harassment'. No-fault divorce; legal abortion; absurd Age of Consent laws; broadening definitions of rape; re-defining marriage, and other policies exist; damaging to men and women alike.  Women use these policies as a shield against committing to men; the Male Feminists and their Game/PUA parrots use them as an excuse for not committing to women. And into the void steps the Gay Mafia, offering its so-called alternative lifestyle as an escape from commitment altogether.

        These things are not liable to correct themselves in the West until the populace faces reality squarely and realizes that all these 'Gender Wars' are nothing but an illusion and that they are being played for dupes by interested parties. As proof of this, we need only to look at Russia. When the USSR collapsed in 1991, Soviet divorce, abortion, and declining birth rates were worse than the US. Soviet women were seeking husbands abroad; the Gay Mafia began spreading its poison through society and Russia's future looked very grim. But today all of these disasters have turned around.

       How? Because Russia faced the problem realistically. They didn't work against human nature, but with it. Yeltsin introduced an aggressive pro-family policy that rewarded stay-at-home mothers and opened the workforce again for men. Medvedev and Putin have expanded the program by suppressing homosexual activism and shutting down organized crime syndicates like Planned Parenthood. President Putin recently said that the Russian ideal was a two-parent family with three children. That ideal is close to realization in Russia.

       That can happen here too, but only if we want it to. But as long there is power and profit in the Gender Wars, and the populace is content with cheap and easy sex, the chances are that it will not.  

       Contrary then to Wilcox and Prager, there is no Magic Solution here. The solution is that people have to see value in the opposite sex again and start to understand that choices have consequences.

       

THE MINISTRY OF PROPAGANDA

     With the proliferation of the Internet and its vast resources, the Special Interest groups running most Western Democracies have been obliged to invest considerable time and capital into disseminating disinformation. Fortunately for them, the monopolies they hold on public education and the media cartels---augmented by considerable drug proliferation---have softened the effete populations' intellects, making them susceptible to propaganda.

      But, thanks to the Internet, the truth occasionally leaks out and, as they say, 'goes viral.' The American public, which cares little for its freedom anymore, is growing more willing to embrace censorship. We've seen this trend growing for years, with speech codes, domestic espionage, and political correctness and such. The truth makes Americans feel uncomfortable.

       A free society doesn't practice censorship because it doesn't need to. When a population and its government are more concerned with things like Right and Justice than with profit and self-aggrandizement, there is no need to fear dissenting viewpoints or foreign propaganda. But our population and government fears them, and with good reason. Public exposure is not something they relish; and, to that end, a Bill was introduced into Congress yesterday called The Countering Foreign Propaganda and Disinformation Act. Introduced by Representatives Adam Kinzinger and Ted Lieu,  the Bill would create a new Federal agency, the Center for Information and Analysis Response. Among its other duties, the CIAR would dispatch American "information agents" into "countries deemed vulnerable to foreign propaganda and disinformation campaigns."

         This is quite ironic, given that foreign interests like Saudi Arabia, Dubai, the Japanese Empire, and foreign-run cults like the Moonies own considerable stock in the US News Media. Newscorp and Univision are owned outright by foreign nationals. Reuters is based in Canada.  So, which country is vulnerable to foreign propaganda and disinformation?

         Kinzinger and Lieu, of course, don't mean those foreign countries. Kinzinger thundered in Congress: "As Russia continues to spew its disinformation and false narratives, they undermine the United States and its interests in places like Ukraine, while also breeding further instability in those countries!"

          The American Media Cartels have been, among their usual anti-Russian farragoes, cultivating an idea among the Ameroboobs that Russia is covertly spreading disinformation. Actually, Russia does have an agency countering Western Propaganda, but the Russians are quite transparent about its existence. The American Media sneeringly refers to this agency as The Russian Troll Factory. Of course, the Media conveniently overlooks the fact that American spending on The Broadcasting Board of Governors---a government propaganda organ overseeing VOA and similar groups---is a whopping $750 million annually, compared to the $92 million Russia spends on its counterpart.

         With such a big pot of money at stake, it's not surprising to see that media conglomerates feature prominently in both Kinzinger's and Lieu's records of corporate donors. In his three terms in Congress, Kinzinger has raked in $41,000 from AT&T; $38,000 from Comcast; $29,000 from the National Cable and Telecommunications Association; and $28,500 from the National Association of Broadcasters. Lieu tagged $8,500 from AT&T and represents a district heavily related to Hollywood and other media interests.

        Could the CIAR operate in the United States? Up until recently, the Anti-Propaganda Act of 1948 made it illegal for the government to deploy propaganda domestically. But the Republican Congress and the Obama Administration repealed that law in 2013, enabling the VOA and other groups to operate as a competing news outlet. 

        How did the once-great American News Media go from a fearlessly independent enterprise of men and women working in the public interest to an international laughing-stock in just one generation? The decline began in the 1960s when Left-Wing radicals began flooding universities to escape their military obligations. Journalism schools naturally appealed to them, as the potential for controlling minds always interests the Cultural Marxists. Over time, with the aid of vested financial interests, professional, elite media figures were purged out of the Press and Political Correctness became the norm. When the 1947 Fairness Doctrine was repealed in the early 1990s, Infotainment, op-eds, and Yellow Journalism in general took free rein over the public discourse. Media outlets began being absorbed into Corporate Cartels. The rising American illiteracy rate spelled the demise of the printed press.  The Anti-Propaganda Act repeal was the nail in the coffin. Outright domestic censorship will be the next step---and that will be the official end of Freedom of the Press in the United States.

        But as long as this censorship doesn't affect Reality TV, soft-core porn, or sports, the Ameroboob won't mind.

         

POISON IVY

     Very few statements coming from the Academic Mafia are worth discussing; that is, unless they pose a danger to public safety---which they frequently do. It seems that one Mark V. Tushnet, the 'William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Law' at Harvard Law School and 'Guggenheim Fellowship for Social Sciences Award' recipient, has made himself notorious once again for controversial statements about American Christian Conservatives.

      Tushnet's last controversial action was getting caught in a Beltway homosexual brothel, but that's another story. He was also famous during the 1990s as a proponent of partial-birth abortion. Such sterling examples of American manhood are who's leading the elite educational institutions of today.

       So Tushnet, offering his brilliant legal insights in some appropriately-named media outlet called Balkanization opines that the American Legal Establishment has not been sufficiently aggressive in the Culture Wars. Speaking of Christian Conservatives, Tushner writes:

        "The Culture Wars are over; they lost, we won...the question now is how to deal with the losers in the Culture Wars. My own judgment is that taking a hard line is better than trying to accommodate the losers. Trying to be nice to the losers didn't work well after the Civil War...while taking a hard line seemed to work reasonably well in Germany and Japan after 1945."

        Tushnet proves here that, not only is he an ignoramus on legal matters, he is a dunce on US history as well. The US Civil War ended in 1865; by 1898, former Confederate officers were fighting for the United States in the Spanish-American War. And, as we've seen recently in foreign affairs, it appears that German and Japanese Imperialists simply went underground and are rising to the surface again.

       Aside from that, the Marshall Plan was hardly a 'hard line' approach. Up until recent times, American policy has historically been quite generous to the defeated; but ruthlessness is far more appealing to the Left.

        Tushnet is a prime example of the kind of stupidity that has come to characterize the Academic Mafia. Once upon a time, Harvard University was an elite educational institution. It was established in 1638 by John Harvard, an English clergyman and dead white male whose purpose in founding Harvard was explained thus:

         "After God had carried us safely to New England and we built our houses, provided for our livelihood and built churches for God's worship and established the civil government, one of the things we longed after and looked for was to advance learning and perpetuate to our posterity; dreading to leave an illiterate ministry to our churches after its present ministers shall lie in the dust."

        And Harvard succeeded for many years afterwards. Many of the frontier ministers---whom our media depicts as simpletons and fanatics leading around a bunch of country bumpkins by the nose---were graduates of Harvard Divinity School.

        Harvard was a leading edge institution in all fields and was among the first to introduce physical education along with academic excellence. Inter-collegiate athletics---once a positive and progressive program that has since degenerated into a blot on society---started among the 'Ivy League'.

        So how did the Ivy League descend from John Harvard to the level of Mark Tushnet in just a generation or so? The answer is, as always: follow the money.

        Because once an Ivy League degree became a commodity rather than a mark of achievement; the Ivy League was doomed. The Academic Mafia---particularly at these higher levels like the Ivy League---act as a gatekeeper for prime positions in Government, Media, and Wall Street. And their Alumni show their gratitude with financial kickbacks; which in turn makes Academia more slavishly accommodating to the political, economic, and social goals of their sponsors. The vicious circle, once started, doesn't stop.

       Will Tushnet's crackpot suggestions ever be realized? Let us not forget that things like no-fly lists; national ID cards; domestic espionage; torture as legitimate police procedure; homosexual marriages legally enforced; etc... were all considered crackpot ideas when most of us were born. In fact, public officials who practiced these things were thrown in jail for it back then; today they hold Distinguished Law Professorships at Harvard.

        But back then Alumni Associations and the general public policed institutions of higher learning, today we roll our eyes and call their crimes a 'New Normal.' Standing up to the Academic Mafia wouldn't look progressive; would make one's CV less important; and besides, might interfere with the NCAA finals or your school's football team's chances at a Bowl bid. And we can't have that.

      

 The Ivy League of 2016
