The Controlled Opposition isn't doing so well these days. Politico, a Deep State mouthpiece owned by German WEF Media consortium Axel Springer, reported that the GOP's sudden turn to the Woke Left has not only cost it votes but has seen a massive drifting away both of coveted Wall Street robber barons and the Israel Lobby. In July alone, the Harris Campaign raised over a quarter billion dollars---nearly three times that of their Republican counterparts. To make matters worse for Conservatism Incorporated, this cash is coming from the very so-called 'venture capitalists' they'd hoped to win over at the expense of their Conservative base.
Democratic Party dark-money operative Steve Spinner said that "the formation of the group was intended to push back to the narrative that Silicon Valley is now split in light of far-right billionaires like Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen and David Sacks publicly supporting Trump. It’s still very, very much Democratic country out here, and now it’s Harris country. Just because there are a couple of big name, big ego investors that are for Trump—they do not speak for the broader tech community and the broader VC community out here. For every one person who’s backing Trump, there are twenty who are backing Kamala.” Slimy Silicon Valley corporate lawyer Andrew Byrnes added: "After Biden dropped out, several well-known tech lawyers in the Valley signed up to bundle donations for the Harris campaign."
After Biden withdrew from the DNC nomination, the Republicans suddenly found themselves with no substantive issues on which to build a base of support. Aside from trying to scrounge the gutters for sexual 'scandals' they can accuse Kamala of committing and various Lawfare proposals, they've thrown out a few campaign promises here and there desperately trying to win back the supporters whom they've alienated for the past year. President Trump was in Georgia today and caused a round of excitement in the Controlled Opposition Press by promising to stand up to Big Pharma.
“Big Pharma, they’re a villain in many different ways. I know them better than anybody. They weren’t fans of mine. In fact, when they announced the vaccine, they did it one day before the election. That’s okay with me. They weren’t fans of mine. I got them to do things that nobody thought anybody could get, really, to do. And, no, they are — they’ve done some good things. They’ve done some very bad things also. There’s no question about it.”
I'm not certain how Trump plans to crack down on Big Pharma with characters like Doug Burgum and Vivek Ramaswamy in a potential Cabinet---not to mention all of the 'Conservative' legislators with their fingers in Big Pharma's pie.
Even the Moonie-connected media outlet Newsweek noted that Trump has never apologized for Operation Warp Speed and was still bragging about it less than two years ago. Likewise, Georgia seems like a rather awkward venue for such a statement. Trump today denounced Governor Brian Kemp saying, “Your governor Kemp and Raffensperger, they are doing everything possible to make 2024 difficult for Republicans to win. Kemp is very bad for the Republican Party. He’s the most disloyal guy I think I’ve ever seen...Kemp is bad guy. A disloyal guy."
Trump's original feud with Kemp began in 2020 when Kemp broke ranks with the White House and rejected Scamdemic Mandates. Republican bumbling has turned Georgia from a reliable Red State to one where Kamala has overtaken Trump in the polls; and a State where only two years ago the Democrats won a Senate seat with a lackluster candidate who would have been beaten handily by a competent opponent.
As long as the Party Establishment insists on pretending that we can win with Neoconservatism, the losses are likely to continue. Promises like those made today are not going to be the magic bullet that the Punditocracy hopes for because they have no credibility. Meanwhile, both parties will point fingers and accuse each other while the moneyed titans on Wall Street laugh in their sleeves at the whole show.
