So, we're into the first weekend of a National Panic Attack. On cue from the Media Hyenas, Americans by the thousands are stripping stores bare of bottled water, bath tissue, detergents, and over-the-counter Amphetamines, running to their Safe Spaces. It wasn't even this bad after the 9/11 Attacks---when for all we knew then, there could have been Al-Qaeda sleeper-cells ready to hit anywhere at any moment. And back in the Aged Grandpappy's time, the NFL didn't even suspend it's regular game-day on the Sunday that Pearl Harbor was attacked. For all they knew, Japanese bombers may have been incoming.
I was thinking the other day about how rough it's going to be for those guys who keep a damsel in the house if the stores run out of bath tissue. No XFL, NHL, or NBA but a weekend of listening to the Fair One's grievances---which you can do nothing to solve---is an unpleasant prospect.
Word to the wise: plenty of romantic restaurants and hotel getaways are still open---and unusually private because of the virus panic. While that might make for a more expensive weekend than usual: consider the alternative and act accordingly.
Otherwise, against the backdrop of the Media-driven hysteria, however, Good Men are doing Good Things. I read this morning on Nox & Friends' blog a great article about the successful conclusion of Project Python. Project Python was a DEA operation aimed at a really rotten gang called the 'Cartel Jalisco New Generation'. And, wow, did the Feds clean house. The CJNG was pretty much obliterated. 600 of these scumbags are in jail (presumably with no toilet paper) and another 350 are running from the FBI, Interpol, and various other agencies on outstanding warrants. CJNG was until this week a major distributor of Meth from foreign sources trafficked into the US.
And while politicians are finger-pointing during this so-called crisis, Attorney Kasim Rashid---who's running for a Congressional seat in Virginia---began receiving anti-Moslem messages from a radicalized and Red-Pilled man named Oz Dillon, of Fredericksburg. Instead of running screaming to the press and police as most politicians would do; Rashid investigated and found that Dillon also had a GoFundMe page which read:
"Our retirement savings is gone, and my wife's inheritance nearly so, due to the rising costs of my wife, and my medical care. With an income, after taxes of $3,126 a month, or around $38k a year, we are literally broke, by the 23rd of each month. This is the sole income we have. If we can reach even half of what we are asking for, we will be able to at least squeak by each month, without having to go further into credit card debt, or touching my wife's inheritance.
"We still owe on her hospitalization for a double pulmonary embolism, that nearly cost her life, and subsequent frequent checkups and medications. My insurance has doubled in cost, and covers less of our medical needs. The house needs to be made Handicap Accessible due to wife's mobility issues. She has no cartilage in her knees at all, and is a poor risk for surgery. All of this is driving us into the poor house, where soon we will be forced to sell our home, if things do not turn around. It truly pains me to ask for help, but we are at out wits end in finding a solution that does not drive us deeper into debt. God bless to all who can help us out, in whatever way possible."
Rashid realized that at the bottom of Dillon's radicalization lay a problem common to many men today: hoping to save his wife, Dillon's hands were tied by a brutalized system and forced into the humiliation of begging for alms. He donated enough to cover Dillon's expenses and encouraged his followers to do so---resulting in bills paid with a $20,000 surplus. Rashid responded as one real man to another; the Red-Pilled scales fell from Dillon's eyes, and he publicly repented of his earlier hateful statements.
“An amazing week of eye- and heart-opening enlightenment, that I used to always have before 9/11,” Dillon told the local press, “A Christian Muslim, Qasim Rashid, who I had previously opposed politically just because of the word Muslim, has opened my eyes that there are GOOD people in all walks of life. He shared our plight with his followers, who in turn donated nearly $1,000 dollars to help Terri and I get rid of this crushing debt. I owe him, and everyone in fact, a deep debt of gratitude, and pray you are all rewarded tenfold, for your generosity.”
Rashid's really a pretty solid guy for a Democrat. You can't help but admire a guy who puts politics aside to help a brother in need.
And, after the COVID panic hit Columbus, Ohio and caused the cancellation of Arnold Schwarzneggar's annual body-building tournament, John Page---the manager of the Greater Columbus Convention Center--- found himself with enough food on hand to feed an estimated 200,000 spectators, he decided to load the edibles on trucks which then went to Tennessee to feed crews and families struck by last week's massive tornado.
“When the unique circumstances affecting the Arnold Sports Festival this year came to fruition, we were proud to be able to send excess food to assist Nashville residents impacted by true devastation while we focus our efforts here on supporting the Arnold Sports Festival in its revised format.” Page told the press.
Page, Rashid, and some good men in the DEA show up the Media lies that our nation is in free-fall. Good men are still out there, holding things together and getting the job done.
So we're back after a short break: the XFL Season is taking its toll on the weekends. With an alternative to the NFL now available, I know how my forefathers must have felt when Prohibition was repealed back in the 30's.
There have been some updates on some women and children trapped in cults who've gone missing. We'll start with the one we've been following most recently:
Ani Slattery---of Owen Benjamin's based and Red-Pilled Bear Cult---hasn't been seen in person for now an estimated 74 days. Her husband---a vile and cretinous character named Nathaniel Slattery---is feeling a lot of online pressure these days (including some from his fellow-cultists) to allow Ani to be seen online again. Nasty Nate, as he's widely known, has changed his story multiple times during the last three weeks. In February, he was offline for six days; when he returned, he claimed that "had to restore morale and discipline in the household." He also admitted that his wife was afraid of his brother, who's been slumming in the house.
Later Nasty Nate went on an interview and claimed that Ani suffered a miscarriage and was depressed and taking a break. A few days ago, he claimed that she wasn't online because "trolls were making fun of her looks" and that she wouldn't appear on Nate's streams because "she doesn't do Bible studies." This is somewhat strange, since she's said that she met Nate online through a Bible Study. The picture above, by the way, is from December 17th; when Ani and some of her girlfriends were announcing the launch of a new music podcast. In her last Facebook video, she made a flower-crown with an app, did a lipstick tutorial, and other stuff girls do in online chats.
In other words, she hasn't been especially camera-shy until recently. Now, yesterday Nasty Nate did another podcast in which a woman's voice was heard; and after Nate assured her that "she couldn't be seen on camera" she walked over to him and alleged reflection was seen in the glass door behind.
Some believe this is actually Ani; I'm not so sure. Why didn't she just show up and say 'hi'? This is the problem with trying with to analyse the behavior of people in cults. They don't behave like normal people: so we're always stuck trying to predict what irrational people do. If this Ani, it's strange that she wouldn't appear; but Nasty Nate is also a strange dude and staging this performance wouldn't be beneath him. Produce the Corpus Delicti, Nate. That's the bottom line here.
The second development has come from the Mormon Cult, in a case we wrote about a few weeks back. A boy named Joshua Vallow and his half-sister Tylee Ryan went missing last September. Their parents, Chad and Lori Daybell, have had a long history of suspicious deaths and disappearances around them. The Mormon conventicles and the local officials have been shielding the Daybells and only acted because the case has received national media attention.
Someone within the local cult in Rexburg, Idaho obviously tipped off the Daybells and they fled to Hawaii. The Hawaiian police moved in, however, and arrested Lori with $5 million bond. Idaho officials immediately requested extradition. Lori appeared in court yesterday. Judge Faren Eddins, himself a Mormon---slashed Lori's bail 80%. The cult quickly ponied up; and Lori's out and about amongst friends.
Still no word on where Joshua and Tylee are. This is the situation that I most feared; that this case is going back to a Kangaroo Court where the cult will stack the jury and any trial which comes up. Eddins is an attorney connected with the Moulton Law Office in Driggs, Idaho; run by a shady former official of the Idaho Fish & Game Commission. Roy Moulton was thrown off the Commission after giving an exclusive contract monopolizing coyote hunting to a crony who wasn't properly licensed. The Idaho Media once compared Moulton's history of environmental extremism to an Earth First whacko who was competing for his position. He and Eddins were both supporters of arch-RINO Mitt Romney.
What's worrisome here is that Lori Daybell will likely say nothing about the missing pair; be tried for murder and acquitted in a sham trial. If Tylee and Joshua turn up deceased, she can't be re-tried as per the 8th Amendment.
Western Liberalism and religious cults are the two greatest threats to Civilization, as I've said many times. But especially in the latter's case, they're also extremely dangerous to the people around them.
When a deadly new virus emerged in Wuhan, China last month, the Chinese Government mobilized all its considerable resources to defeat a potential pandemic. In contrast, the American Media and many politicians flew into a panic. Media ratings---along with power-grabbing and the potential of profiteering---always thrive on disasters and catastrophes.
Meanwhile, Dr. Zhong Nanshan---one of China's leading experts on Respiratory Epidemiology---stated that within two weeks the contagion would peak. Nobody in the American Corporate Media paid any attention to Zhong, of course. Instead, they embarked on an orgy of China-bashing and fanning fake news. Awkwardly enough for the Elites, Zhong's prediction has turned out to be true. Recent statistics from the Chinese Ministry of Health show that the outbreak reached its peak around February 12th.
"The daily number of new confirmed cases nationwide dropped from the peak of 15,152 on Feb. 12 to less than 900 on Thursday. The number of new confirmed cases outside Hubei was 258 on Thursday, down from the peak of 890 on Feb. 3.The daily number of newly recovered patients has been rising rapidly to 2,109 on Thursday, surpassing that of new confirmed infections for the third consecutive day...Tibet Autonomous Region in southwest China has reported zero new confirmed cases since Jan. 30 and Qinghai Province Three provinces - Liaoning, Guizhou, Gansu - and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have reported zero new cases for four consecutive days and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps has reported no new cases for three consecutive days."
This was confirmed yesterday by World Health Organization Director Bruce Aylward, who praised China's efforts during a visit there this week.
These events were all swept under the rug by the American Media---which still ridiculously proclaims itself less biased, controlled, and more factual than the Chinese Media. It's a national disgrace, of course, that news organs controlled by the Communist Party of China are more credible than our supposedly free MSM, but there it is. During the weekend, the Media Hyenas carefully combed the International Press for word of cases discovered far and wide. Then they blamed China again and starting bashing Trump for supposedly being 'unprepared for the crisis.' Wall Street plunged over these stories---although how selling off stocks is supposed to do anything to ward off a potential pandemic nobody has explained.
So far there have been 17 confirmed cases in the US; not counting 40 more on a quarantined cruise ship. To put this in perspective, consider that drug overdoses kill an average of 193 people per day in the United States---but the media doesn't consider that figure anything to get too excited about. But in some localities, 'prepper' stores are doing a thriving business. And supplies of things like surgical masks and bottled water have been flying off the shelves---with the profiteers and price-gougers padding their bank accounts.
There are even books and manuals sprouting up like toadstools on surviving the epidemic; with the usual nitwits leading the charge.
Ah, what a grand LARPing adventure. And nota bene that Vox made his first and most important priority to stock up on dope supplies. Today he even expressed hope that the 'crisis' would lead to Martial Law: what a fake Conservative.
Of course, these characters along with the MSM keep saying the cliches that "we're overdue for a global pandemic", and evoke images from the Black Plague during the 14th Century, the Smallpox Epidemic among American Indians during the 18th Century, and the Spanish Flu Epidemic of 1918-1920. What they all fail to realize is that Medical Technology has substantially improved since 1921. We know more about viruses and how they work; we have vaccines---several deadly epidemic diseases have been wiped out just since the end of World War II.
On top of this, emergency responses to outbreaks have also improved thanks to more rapid and efficient transportation and computer communications which can send information around the world faster than a virus can spread. The reason that we haven't had a global pandemic in a century is because organizations like WHO have been working out strategies to contain pandemics for the last 60 or so years.
The one thing that annoys me the most about all of this is reading how the Chinese people have come together to fight the threat in their own country; and then contrasting this with Christian America---where we ought to be reading about relief efforts and working on finding a cure. Instead, everybody's grabbing whatever they can as fast as they can grab it; and then going online and blogging about serenely drinking Margaritas with their wives while the rest of the world dies a horrible death from Pneumonia.
As for myself, I'm going to have a steak dinner this weekend and catch the XFL; while silently chuckling over the knotheads down in their cold, smelly bomb-shelters eating canned Beans & Weenies. Somehow, I think they just deserve that.
Wow---what a weekend. So, it's been a few days since the last post; and that's for some personal reasons. The personal reason in this case being that a long drought of live professional football finally came to an end. At 11 AM Pacific Standard Time on Saturday, the XFL kicked off---and as far I'm concerned the NFL officially died, and good riddance. I was at the first football party that I'd been to in years.
As someone who's been a football fan since the age of five, and who played all the way through his school years, the return of real football was a big deal. These were the first live-action games I'd watched in a long time. The XFL has mixed a lot of innovation with a lot of tradition; hence it has an appeal to both old and new fans. Except on a few rule changes relating to kick returns, pass receptions, and conversion points, there's not that much of a difference in actual play or strategy. One thing noticeable is the high-tech camera work:
Which almost looks like a video-game at times. Another is that everyone is wired for sound. Players, officials, and coaches can be heard in real time.
Another thing that seemed odd at first was that the players looked smaller than the 'roid-ridden superthugs of the NFL; but then I noticed that XFL players were less padding. There wasn't any of the appalling Political Correctness of the NFL; except for the very disappointing decision not to allow cheerleading; although there are 'ball-girls' they're decidedly less fun. I hope that they reconsider this in 2021.
Aside from that oversight, watching the XFL was actually fun. In fact, I've read that adjective in most XFL reviews. The overwhelming percentage of Opening Day's commentary has been positive. The number of no-shows confidently predicted by scoffing media pundits also apparently never materialized:
The games were very fast-paced and number of former NFL stars were in the crowd. During the St.Louis-Dallas game, former Cowboys' quarterback Troy Aikman was interviewed and voiced his approval, stating that "This League's got a real chance." I agree that it does---as long as it can hold true to its values: avoid stupid virtue-signaling Political Correctness; and evades the inevitable dirty tricks and sleazy sabotage that the NFL is bound to attempt.
Speaking of the moribund other league, the news this weekend was that notorious thug Myles Garrett was, as predicted, fully re-instated after starting an on-field riot last November (and after the anger from the public had blown over). The Washington Redskins announced the first-ever Black female coach. The Buffalo Bills last year made the first White Lesbian coach. Gang-bangers and frat-boys getting bossed around by strong Feminist women: nothing sums up Trash Culture more accurately than that mental image does. But at least the NFL's managed to go three weeks (so far) without a player ending up in the clink.
If the XFL stays the course, the NFL is going down.
This last week was a remarkably disastrous week for the foes of freedom and civilization and a great week for the rest of us. First, Dalrock---one of the most anti-religious promoters of the so-called 'Gender Wars' went down. Then, the Impeachment/coup attempt against President Trump failed, as did the final attempt to overturn BREXIT.
Today, too, is the NFL's final game before the debut of the XFL next week. The annual Trash Culture Extravaganza featuring drag queens and tributes to Feminism kicks off about the time we're posting this article. It's estimated that Wall Street Robber Barons, the Corporate Media, and gambling racketeers will rake in about $18 billion on this year's game. It seems, to my mind, that the cities of San Francisco and Kansas City could put the money to more constructive uses. Given the number of murders and proliferation of drugs in KC and the appalling social conditions in SF, it's difficult to comprehend why residents think it better to funnel billions into the hands of national parasites.
Tradition plays a big part of it. Just like the author of the SF article noted: "If you traveled to San Francisco 25–30 years ago, you would have found a different city, different people and a different atmosphere. However, things have changed drastically since the 90’s; not only the universities in and around it have regressed and lost much of the free thought in particular, but the city itself is undergoing a major crisis and perhaps one of its worst times." It's the same with the Super Bowl and the NFL in general. Millions of Americans are thinking of the past Super Bowls of Joe Montana and Len Dawson. They're thinking of Super Bowl parties from their school days and friendly 'fish-bowl' betting pools at the office. They don't see that things have changed---and not for the better. Pro football used to be fun. Today it's just a cesspool of Political Correctness and Gangland-Ethos wallowing in Dirty Money.
Only since the regular NFL season ended on December 29th, already three NFL thugs have found their way into jail. Seriously: who could respect or admire scum like these?
Pro football certainly has come a long way (down) since 1920 when the NFL was organized in Canton, Ohio for the express purpose of "raising the standard of professional football in every way possible, and to eliminate bidding for players between rival clubs," i.e. to keep corruption and big money out of the game while promoting positive contributions to the community. But those guys are all Dead White Males today; men who actually believed in such quaint idealism. The Smart Boys and the Ones in the Know in our postmodern era think those are all nice platitudes, but the real winners know whose back to stab or scratch at the opportune moment is how you get to the top.
The XFL is an attempt to break up this cabal of crime and bring pro football back to its intended purpose. Despite the pooh-poohing from the MSM, I believe that the XFL has a real chance of success. Earlier ventures like the WFL and USFL were trying to compete against an established and popular system. But, again, things have changed since the 1970s and 1980s. People then weren't turning from the NFL in sheer disgust. Now many of us are. The NFL senses the threat is real, too. They've already pulled a couple of ploys like scheduling scrimmages opposite the XFL schedule and moving the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas, where the XFL planned to put a team. But the NFL will ultimately fail because it can't offer what the XFL does: a genuine commitment to both the sport and community. Fans will actually see the difference and the NFL will continue going down the toilet.
Antonio Brown, another notorious piece of NFL flotsam, was in the news (again) recently after a viral video of himself acting like ghetto trash near his Hollywood home. Basically, he threw one of his 'baby-mommas' out of the house and smart-mouthed the police, calling them 'little man' and 'fish head' and throwing penis-shaped candies at them. Prior to this incident, he tweeted as a New Year's Resolution that he "was swearing off White Women" ----much to the benefit of half the American gene pool.
But this is what the NFL considers high-quality talent. This jughead is a graduate by the way of Central Michigan University---unbelievable as it seems, he was even too dumb to get into Florida State and that's really saying a lot. At any rate, this multimillionaire celebrity learned well there. During the confrontation and after he howled about how there was no justice for the Black Man in America today.
Needless to say, this isn't the only incident in which Brown has been conspicuous. Today the Miami Police severed their public-relations ties with Brown though it took three domestic violence reports before they finally did. His agent and his attorney both quit too. Brown responded with this tweet:
Brown's lawyer was representing him after what the Miami Herald rather tepidly termed "a string outlandish behavior." This included a "2018 lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade County that alleges Brown caused $15,000 worth of damages to a Sunny Isles Beach condominium." The media lives out the little detail that---in this case---Brown destroyed furniture and hurled it down from 14 stories at a woman with an infant. "It seems these days as if Antonio Brown can't catch a break," the Herald's sportswriter lamented.
Brown's latest antics, along with the dozen or so NFL thugs jailed so far this season reminded me that the new XFL is opening in just a few weeks. For those of us who've really missed football because it disgusts us too much these days, the XFL looks very promising. Kickoff is at 11 AM Saturday, February 8th and will be televised on ABC and Fox affiliates.
This new league is the brainchild of veteran sports promoter Vince McMahon. Conservatives here might remember that McMahon's wife Linda---to whom he's been faithfully married for 54 years---was a GOP Senate contender and former head of the US Small Business Administration under President Trump. In 2019, she resigned to work full-time on the Trump 2020 Campaign.
The XFL is basically a modernized, high-tech version of traditional fan/community centered football. It appeals both to older fans who miss what the game once was; and to younger fans for its innovation and sheer fun. An interesting innovation of McMahon's was to cap ticket prices to make going to games affordable and family-friendly. Most of all, it's going to make football fun again---something we haven't had in a long time.
