Less than 48 hours after Project Veritas exposed ABC News executives' complicity in the Jeffrey Epstein Case, the hyenas in the Corporate Media fired the alleged whistleblower---who was until today working at CBS.
That certainly didn't take long. Imagine what these guys could accomplish if they put the same effort into investigating actual news stories that they do in retaliating against people who uncover their own crimes. Even to the point of joining hands with their confederates competitors to do it.
Bear in mind that these are same Media Jackals who publish anything---no matter how logically absurd---by anybody with an allegation about President Trump, or his family, or officials. This is the same Media who---when anyone whispers in their ear that they were abused by a Catholic priest---will paste the stories in the headlines regardless of how unprovable the accusation is. And of course, foreign leaders who cross the Deep State are routinely defamed by 'experts' working for vested interests.
And on the subject of whistleblowing, a website called The Federalist made the interesting observation that at the same time ABC and CBS were hunting down the person who leaked the Epstein story, ABC's program The View was interviewing Donald Trump Jr. and complaining that he leaked the name of an alleged White House media mole whistleblower. “The whole point of releasing a name is to intimidate someone, to threaten someone, and to scare other people from coming out. That’s something that dictators do,” said Abby Huntsman during the interview.
This kind of hypocrisy isn't new for the Corporate Media, however. Just remember how differently they felt about whistleblowers like Julian Assange and Edward Snowden who were uncovering the crimes going on during the Obama years. Anybody who believes anything coming out of the US Mainstream Media anymore has to be an incorrigible NPC. The Epstein video (and many other instances of leaked tapes) show that many inside the MSM don't even believe the same lies that they tell everyone else. No, what passes for 'news' in the United States today is simply 'framing a narrative' for the sake of us uneducated boobs and common rabble out in flyover country.
I rather hope that President Trump finds out who this fired employee is and gives her a job in the White House as a press secretary or something. She deserves a reward for what she did.
The freedom fighters at Project Veritas have scored another victory against Big Media mendacity yesterday. Someone inside of ABC News (a subsidiary of the Disney Media Cartel) leaked to them a videotape of a reporter and a producer confessing to covering up the Jeffrey Epstein Case on behalf of powerful political interests.
This expose follows on the heels of some publicized leaks from within CNN. To my mind, these leaks are a positive development; because it's an indication that people within the Media Cartels themselves are starting to revolt. The Robber Barons running these oligarchies are rapidly losing control; and damaging leaks like these are the first symptom of a regime disintegrating from within.
The released video is a 'hot mic' tape of ABC 'journalist' Amy Robach grumbling to a producer that she had the story of the scandal for three years, but the story was quashed by ABC/Disney executives. "We had the Clintons, we had everything," she stated.
So, let's see....three years ago was 2016. What was happening about this time then involving the Clintons?
Could it be that the same ABC which promoted false allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh and is still pursuing fake Russiagate stories against President Trump to help smooth the way for a return of the Clinton Co-Presidency?
That's likely part of it. People who cross the Clintons seem to have a proclivity for dying in manifold mysterious ways. But then Miss Amy tells us of the intervention of another notorious international crime family: "And then the {Buckingham} Palace found out (from whom, I wonder?) that we had allegations against Prince Andrew and they threatened us in a million ways."
Isn't that appalling? These are the same royal degenerates from whom our Founding Fathers declared our independence---so we could have things like a free press! What gives these descendants of George III any right to come back and push our press around? The answer is, because they're dealing with not dealing with an independent press anymore; but corporate maharajas who feel their actual job is to keep the little people mentally sedated while protecting the Deep State Elites.
And the million-dollar question: was Epstein murdered? Amy says: "Do I think he was killed? 100% yes, I do. He made his whole living blackmailing people...a lot of powerful men visited that island."
This is the part that really disgusts me about this whole story. Epstein was not, as some are wont to portray him, just a rich guy who played a bit with young women who happened to be legal minors in the US. That's the way Media scum like ABC have pitched the story to a paedohysterical public. A lot of these young ladies weren't involved in anything consensual at all. They were being farmed out to repulsive perverts like Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, and---very likely---the dirtbags who run ABC/Disney. Meanwhile, Epstein was profiting off the extortion and blackmail collected from these degenerates: rioting in the spoil and laughing up his sleeve while the women did his dirty work. And despite the fact that the Corporate Media keeps parroting that "some of the girls were as young as 14", rumor has it that saying "some were as old as 14" would be much more accurate.
Yet, despite the Media Moguls knowing all about this in 2016, they sat on the story for now over three years while these crimes continued unabated. And what's worse, it could have happened that the Clintons returned to the White House with the public unaware of their involvement in these things. And then to crown all of their crimes, ABC issued this excuse for the cover-up: "At the time, not all of our reporting met our standards to air, but we have never stopped investigating the story. Ever since we've had a team on this investigation and substantial resources dedicated to it."
That statement is even more laughable than most of ABC's sitcoms. But someone who shouldn't be laughing are the enforcement agents in the Federal Communications Commission and the US Department of Justice. Because it doesn't seem to me that things like Withholding Evidence and Obstruction of Justice are protected by the 1st Amendment. I don't know if the scandal with reach that far; but I sure wouldn't mind if it did.
While looking through the Blogroll the other day, I came across this interesting post by blogger Insanity Bytes. It seems that our old acquaintance, Pastor Doug Wilson is at it again. For those who don't know him, Pastor Wilson heads a megachurch in Moscow, Idaho and has been implicated in many shady practices. His apologies for things like slavery and abuse of women have made him somewhat of a hero among the Red Pill Cult and other unsavory types. A specimen of the types to whom he appeals can be seen in IB's comment section.
As part of what Wilson terms No Quarter November---with its very telling Pirate Flag logo---he's written a post titled Inerrancy as the Queen Mum of Evangelicalism which he chides Christians for not accepting the common secularist belief that the Bible condones slavery. His argument can be summed up with a simple syllogism:
A. The Bible, as the Word of God, is without error.
B. The Bible has passages relating to the treatment of slaves.
Conclusion: Slavery is a divinely-inspired institution.
While the premises are true; the conclusion is false. This is obvious from the fact that the Bible also has passages relating to divorce, which I doubt that Wilson would argue is a godly institution. It also has passages relating to the conduct of kings, arranged marriages, and oxen should be treated---none of which (in the literal sense) have anything to do with Christian conduct today. The reason that these things are still a part of the Scripture is because as Civilization advances what once took on a literal meaning takes on a spiritual one. There is still slavery today: the slavery of sin; and we can understand such passages as the one from Leviticus which Wilson quotes as a way we should treat those living outside the Body of Christ. The idea of compassionate slavery means today that we should treat unbelievers with compassion and empathy until they achieve equality, in the spiritual sense.
The entire third chapter of the Catechism is devoted to how Scripture should be understood and it wouldn't hurt many Christians to read it. That's especially true of articles 109-111:
*109 In Sacred Scripture, God speaks to man in a human way. To interpret Scripture correctly, the reader must be attentive to what the human authors truly wanted to affirm, and to what God wanted to reveal to us by their words.75
110 In order to discover the sacred authors' intention, the reader must take into account the conditions of their time and culture, the literary genres in use at that time, and the modes of feeling, speaking and narrating then current. "For the fact is that truth is differently presented and expressed in the various types of historical writing, in prophetical and poetical texts, and in other forms of literary expression."76
111 But since Sacred Scripture is inspired, there is another and no less important principle of correct interpretation, without which Scripture would remain a dead letter. "Sacred Scripture must be read and interpreted in the light of the same Spirit by whom it was written."77*
This is the problem both with cultish movements like the Red Pill and with Biblical 'skeptics'. They read through the eyes of human prejudice while, as St. Paul says, quenching the Holy Spirit. A very early Christian writing ascribed to Paul's companion St. Barnabas speaks at length of how Legalism descends upon those who ignore the Spirit for the Letter. Speaking of the Jewish circumcision, he says: "Therefore He has circumcised our ears so that we may believe His Word. But as for that ritual in which the Jews trust; it is abolished as He Himself has said. For the Circumcision of which God spoke was not of the flesh; but they have transgressed His commands, being deceived by an Evil Angel."
So to answer the rhetorical question that Wilson poses about slavery-related passages in the Bible: "This is a law straight from God. Is it a good law or a bad law?", we affirm that it is good; but not in the way that Wilson understands it.
Considering that the modern Church's position on slavery is very unequivocal; Wilson is left dangling in the same position that many would-be reformers find themselves: explaining just when the Church went into 'apostasy' on the Slavery Issue. He snorts: "Does the Holiness of God conflict with all of your Enlightenment assumptions that you mistook for holiness?"
In the New Testament, we find St. Paul speaking to issues concerning Christian slaves and Christian masters. Long before The Enlightenment---actually around the 13th Century--- the Church forbade Christians from owning other Christians as slaves. And that decision came about after several decades of lobbying by Church officials: many of whom had already banned the practice within their own Diocese. And in 1537, His Holiness Pope Paul III dropped the bombshell in the Papal Bull Sublimiius Deus which stated that aboriginal peoples of newly-discovered lands "were human beings and not to be robbed of their freedom or possessions" and a corollary encyclical ordered excommunication for those who violated the policy.
It's also interesting to note that when Mexico declared its independence from Spain in 1810, the priest Father Hidalgo who led the revolt abolished slavery throughout the country: a far bolder step than our own Founding Fathers took.
Thus, I think its safe to say that the Bible never actually justified slavery; but in ancient times took it for granted that it was a social condition. Regardless, even relative to the time and place, the Biblical regulations for the treatment of slaves was quite radical and progressive for the era. Some Roman critics of Christianity used to deride it as 'a slave's religion' because Christians actually argued that slaves had rights. Under Roman Law, slaves had fewer rights than livestock. A Roman could get fined for beating a horse; if he beat a slave nobody paid attention.
However enlightened it was then, everyone recognizes today that Slavery is immoral and it's shameful that it even needs to be discussed in the 21st Century. Our forefathers did what they could against a practice that most saw as a necessary evil back then; and others even justified it because they simply didn't know any better. But today? What's Pastor Wilson's excuse?
The White House announced today that Melania Trump would be visiting Boston Medical Center on Wednesday to review an experimental program designed to help infants recover from Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. This is a medical condition---really discovered in the late 1980s---in which infants born to mothers who take narcotics while pregnant exhibit the effects of withdrawal after birth.
According to the White House, “Mrs. Trump will receive a briefing from the Boston Medical Center Staff on the status of these programs. Following the briefing, Mrs. Trump will tour Boston Medical Center’s Pediatric Unit to see first-hand how these programs are implemented and meet with the children and families who have been successfully treated.”
A spokesman for Boston Medical Center told The Boston Globe that the new approaches were tried in 2016, and in 2018 were adopted as hospital policy. He described the treatment---which is apparently coordinated with social workers---as follows: "Non-pharmacologic treatment approaches included parental presence at the infant’s bedside, skin to skin contact, and breastfeeding as first-line treatment. Parents were educated about the importance of their presence and contact with their infants, and infants were cared for in a pediatrics inpatient room with a bed for parents once mothers were discharged for their immediate postpartum care.”
This is really a great idea, and somewhat commonsense. I would suspect that this treatment also collaterally probably benefits the mothers as well. The bonding they experience with their babies easily could bring out their maternal instincts, making them more receptive to drug dependency rehabilitation. As far as the infants involved, the Hospital reports that since last year, “The need to treat infants with medication decreased from 87 to 40 percent; the average length of hospital stay decreased from an average of 17 days to 11 days; and average hospital charges per infant decreased to approximately $21,000, down from $32,000."
Mrs. Trump is conducting the visit as part of her Be Best Initiative. Breaking the cycle of Narcotics Abuse among young people and children is one of Be Best's main goals. Her endorsement of the Hospital's program could lead to its implementation in other medical systems across the country.
The physical effects of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome are well-documented; however, judging by some of the comments following the Globe article, many of the Whacko Left in Boston exhibit the psychological effects of drug abuse too. Whether they're actually doing drugs or not, with Election Day coming up they give us a peek into the mentality of the typical Liberal Democrat.
There you have it: the Whacko Left Wing in all the glory of its compassion and 'it takes a village' philosophy. Meanwhile---while the Left stews in its bile---Mrs. Trump will be doing more for needy children than her predecessor, or most other Democrats for that matter, ever bothered to do.
Once upon a time in America, NFL Sunday was a fun event. It was one of the few regular television presentations that actually brought people together. Sports heroes were real heroes who did good things for their communities. On an ordinary Sunday, the news that the Denver Broncos beat the Cleveland Browns 24-19 wouldn't cause much of a national stir...
But that was then, this is now. Enter Jermaine Whitehead, who plays Safety for the Browns. Apparently, he was the defender on the Broncos' game-winning touchdown pass.
Wow...the Browns sure have ugly uniforms these days. But that aside, part of good sportsmanship is accepting the fact that defeat sometimes happens in competitive sports. You pick yourself up; analyze what went wrong; and work to do better next time. But Whitehead wasn't such a gracious loser. Within minutes of Cleveland's loss, Whitehead took to Twitter and it wasn't a pretty sight. In fact, we redacted various obscenities from the clips:
It took the Twitter folks a whole 15 minutes to suspend Whitehead's account. Which sadly is probably a more serious punishment than anything that the NFL will do to him. And why should they? This barely-literate gangland jerk actually graduated from Auburn University. They never held accountable for his behavior, so why should the NFL?
No, in the postmodern America created by the self-appointed intellectual elites (such as one finds at Auburn), trash like Whitehead get four-year degrees on scholarships and $645,000 annual salaries to be role-models for other trash. Meanwhile, medical students at Auburn need to come up with around $320,000 for 4 years of medical school. And med school graduates rarely end up as national heroes, unlike Mr. Whitehead and his millionaire friends with the Cleveland Browns.
There are two reasons that I look forward to 2020: one is the re-election of President Trump and the other is the return of real football with the XFL. The NFL just needs to go down, once and for all.
The three decades of the Deep State have not been kind to the US Military; and the once vaunted US Navy has been particularly damaged. The Trump Administration has taken a few steps to clean up the mess, especially now that the obstructionist RINO James Mattis has been removed from Defense Secretary. Trump removed the most incompetent Naval officer ever, Admiral Harris, from command of the Pacific Fleet and hopefully others will follow.
From the time of the Clinton Co-Presidency onward, the Navy has been seething with Political Correctness and outright corruption. Witch hunts were launched against innocent servicemen. Obama instituted all-girl submarines and promoted homos to national heroes. And then there was the Fat Leonard Scandal; among whose now-disgraced officers were some involved in the aforementioned witch-hunts. The Trump Administration, incidentally, is investigating a similar scandal originating in South Korea. Just this week alone, a Naval officer was disgraced and jailed after getting caught trying to sell military hardware to Chinese smugglers. This list could go on; but the bottom line here is that the US Navy is one seriously screwed up place.
As if we needed more proof of the Navy's utter uselessness, Stars and Stripes Magazine announced yesterday that Satanists attending the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland would be allowed an assembly room where they can discuss their beliefs. Alana Garas, a Navy spokeswoman, cackled to the Corporate Media that "the academy's Command Religious Program facilitates the exercise of diverse beliefs."
"Midshipmen have the right to assemble to discuss their beliefs as they choose, but, to be clear, in accordance with Department of Defense policy, military members will not engage in partisan political activities, and will avoid the inference that their activities may appear to imply DoD approval or endorsement of a political cause," Garas said.
Oh sure it doesn't. Satanists have such a renowned reputation as upholders of American traditions and values, who could doubt that this is a purely non-partisan endeavor, right? And we've seen plenty of examples of their contributions to the Military already...
But the one question in my mind is this: How in the name of Common Sense is encouraging Devil Worship supposed to solve any of the Navy's ongoing problems? The Navy is plagued with both legal and moral criminals already: how is this going to be reformed by officers who draw their inspiration from Satan?
The answer is that it's not intended to solve or reform anything. It's another way of entrenching political and social radicalism with the US Military Establishment. And it's really interesting to note that, since the Trump Administration came to power, with which side the Devil seems to be aligning himself.
As some of our regular readers know, we have been trying to assist in unraveling a (now) 39-year old issue in Walker County, Texas. On this day in 1980. a young woman was tortured, sexually abused, and finally garroted to death before being dumped in a swamp drainage-ditch along Interstate 45. The girl has come to be known as Walker County Jane Doe; and was interred in Oakwood Cemetery by volunteers in January, 1981 after attempts to identify her were unsuccessful.
The details of the case are widely known and can be found with a search both here and on the Web. We first wrote about the case about a year ago. She is still unidentified. However, volunteers have made some substantial progress. Numerous tips have come into volunteer agencies. The Facebook page dedicated to WCJD has had around 100,000 shares. There are, I think, two threads on the message-board Websleuths on this case alone. Reddit has several pages on it. We've written about a half-dozen articles on the case, and combined they've been linked or shared about 20,000 times. Other blogs have written about it too.
Unfortunately, we can't say the same for the investigating agency: the Walker County Sheriff's Office. Under the inept leadership of Sheriff Clint McRae, the poltroons supposedly in charge of the WCJD Case didn't even issue a public statement this November.
This isn't uncommon, though, for this sorry excuse for a law enforcement agency. Last Summer, one of our readers sent their Department a Public Records Request where one of the questions put the Sheriff was for public statements he had made since the case was reopened in 2015. His response? "We have no documents responsive to the request." Which, incidentally, was also his response when asked for transcripts of reports he'd made to public officials on the case. In other words, he's handling the case without the slightest public accountability or oversight. He also stated on the responses to other questions that his office didn't even have records of how many man-hours or how much expense they'd put into the case since 2015 (I suspect because neither actually exist).
In response to a question about which public tips had been ruled out, McRae's response was that none had. Which, given the number of tips they've received since 2015 strongly implies that there are no rule-outs because none have been investigated.
Advances in technology have broken many of these old cases since 2015, but there is no indication that Walker County has employed any of it. Except for shopping a few contaminated relics to DNA labs for show (all of which invariably come back negative), they have done nothing of substance to solve this case. The DNA Doe Project, for example, has practically begged Walker County for a chance to work this case. So far, they have been met with refusals.
Whatever the motives behind all of this negligence are, the fact remains that the Walker County Sheriff's handling of this case is inexcusably bad. WCSO is a disgrace to County Sheriffs---both in Texas and across the nation---most of whom are doing a good job.
