CENSORSHIP BY ANY OTHER NAME IS STILL CENSORSHIP

Well, we probably all recall the outrage poured forth from the Controlled Opposition Media over the last four years about Democrat proposals---instigated by the Oligarchs at the World Economic Forum---about controlling so-called disinformation. This was accompanied by widespread complaints about the Biden/Harris Junta using the power of the State to target and silence Conservative media. After taking control of Congress in 2022, the Republican Party responded by being the most litigious Congress in US History and one which passed the most massive expansions of Government Surveillance, draconian suppression of protests under the Politically-Correct guise of fighting 'antisemitism,' (i.e. enforcing identity politics), and the seizure of Tik-Tok: all of which eagerly were signed into law by Biden.

Since 2022, the Republicans have been displaying an increasingly authoritarian direction when it comes to the First Amendment. Several State Governments have, under the pretext of fighting DEI and Woke Ideology, aggressively scrapped such programs and replaced them with their own versions of it. A Conservative approach would have been to break up the Academic Mafia and promoting School Choice; but the New Right isn't overly interested in winning in the Marketplace of Ideas these days; they're more intent on Controlling the Narrative, which obviates choice and rests upon top-down solutions.

This week, amidst great fanfare, the mangers of the incoming Republican Administration announced a Lawfare scheme against the New York Times. This follows a move the week before the 'Election' aimed at CBS. This is on top of threats by President-Elect top advisor Elon Musk responding to criticism by vowing“I’m going to find out who’s making these accusations and nuke them...There will be consequences for those who pushed foreign interference hoaxes. The Hammer of Justice is coming!” All of which sentiments suspiciously sound like Musk's confederates at the WEF and their demands that 'disinformation' be suppressed by the authorities.

Now no one disputes that Media Cartels like the New York Times and CBS are reprehensible organizations which are a disgrace to journalists everywhere; but suppressing them through Government-sponsored Lawfare and sending a chilling effect throughout the industry isn't the right approach. Most of the Republicans supporting these moves would react with horror if the Democrats did it, and rightly so: but they have no objection and are content to look the other way when media outlets of whom they disapprove receive the same treatment.

A Conservative way to handle these Media abuses would be the same employed against the Academic Establishment: expand choice options by enforcing Anti-Trust Laws against Media conglomerates and reinstate laws prohibiting things like corporate cross-ownership and market saturation. However, Media Choice is no more an option than School Choice, and for the same reasons.

Indeed, aside from the abuses carried out by Repubican Congressmen and State Governors, the Conservative-Industrial Complex has made no especial secret of its hatred for contrary opinion. Recall the ominous productive conversations that Kyle Rittenhouse had with Party goons after refusing to endorse Trump; Joe Rogan had a similar epiphany in August after refusing to make an endorsement. Even Jeff Bezos, discreetly decided not to endorse Kamala Harris at his media outlet, The Washington Post suspiciously a day after Trump officials met with the CEO of Bezos' Space Program at NASA.

As Caitlin Johnstone noted, President Trump (or whoever writes his speeches for him) vowed as recently as September "that in his first week in office he’s going to stomp out 'anti-Semitic propaganda on university campuses throughout the United States."

     "
Trump was elected while openly campaigning against free speech, even as his supporters promoted him as a champion of free speech. He campaigned on jailing flag burners as well, for the record. Trump literally standing before an Israeli flag and vowing to kill free speech for the advancement of Israeli information interests makes a lie of everything the so-called “MAGA movement” has ever claimed to stand for and exposes it for the scam it has always been. Trump supporters are already falling all over themselves to justify his warmongering cabinet picks and his vow to crack down on freedom of assembly on college campuses...These people will put zero pressure on Trump to end wars and fight authoritarianism. They’ll bootlick and make excuses throughout the entire four years, just like they did last time. They’re not anti-establishment populists, they just want to feel like anti-establishment populists. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Trump supporters are George W Bush supporters LARPing as Ron Paul supporters."

The White House Transition Team, headed by Hollywood Media Oligarch Linda McMahon and WEF-orbiter Howard Lutnick, installed South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, a hardcore Christian Nationalist as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security---a secret police force illegally created in 2001 by the Neocon Bush Administration.

Kristi Noem is the Governor of a small state who, like other Femiservatives such as Sarah Palin and Kari Lake, appeals aesthetically to the Oedipal Complexes of many males on the New Right who are comforted by a strong maternal figure protecting the household from evildoers like anti-Israel protesters and immigrant invaders. Shortly before (illegally) dispatching the puny South Dakota National Guard to Texas in support of Governor Abbott's illegal takeover of the Mexican Border, Governor Noem took the rather woke position of passing the "nation's toughest hate-crime law;" but, again, such things are only bad when Democrats do them.

The New Right's embrace of pro-censorship policies are wholly in line with the Neoreactionary, or Dark Enlightenment, philosophy espoused by ideologues like Curtis Yarvin, Steve Sailer, Vox Day, and others who categorically reject the idea of a Free Press. This very clearly is the driving force behind Postmodern 'Conservatism' in the United States. By the express admission of its followers, Democracy and Freedom are incompatible; but too many want to overlook minor details like that, sacrificing Liberty for fake 'security.'
