While Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is anticipating planting the Rainbow Flag over Pyongyang, emboldened Wahhabi gangsters unleashed a wave of terrorism across Africa this weekend. At least we don't have to think about violence in Chicago any more.
In Egypt, Palm Sunday worshippers were massacred in two separate bomb attacks with a police station blown up for good measure. President Sisi has declared a three-month State of Emergency---killing Christians in Egypt is still considered a criminal offense. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks, just a day after Sisi broke with Trump and issued a statement supporting Assad. Egypt has military and civilian contractors in Syria fighting alongside the other Allies.
In Somalia, the vicious Al-Shabaab jihadists are on the move again; capturing the strategic village of Ceelbuur. A week ago, the Trump Administration gave the gay-friendly Pentagon full authority to act independently in Somalia. They quickly responded by pulling African Union peacekeeping forces from Ceelbuur---which fell to Al-Shabaab without a shot being fired.
This is making America Great Again?
Meanwhile, the RINO UN Ambassador is welcome on CNN once again. She told the fake-news outlet in an exclusive interview this morning that the Deep State is considering sanctions on Russia and Iran for supporting Assad's fight against Jihadists and Western Liberalism in general. No word yet on how Egypt will punished; but Haley informed the gullible Corporate Media that "Trump and his Administration were shown classified information proving that Assad had been involved in the chemical weapons attack at Idlib." Not mentioning of course that this information came from Obama's stooges General Joseph Votel and the Moslem Brotherhood-ruled Turkish and Jordanian governments. Or that it was supported by the Al-Qaeda front-group The Syrian Observatory on Human Rights and the Soros-backed White Helmets.
The Deep State---a confederation of organized crime, religious cultists, and political extremists---came into being during the geopolitical chaos occasioned by the fall of the Soviet Union. Grafting itself onto Cold War Era intelligence infrastructure, the Deep State turned away from Cold War policies of encouraging Democracy and World Peace. Instead, they pushed the doctrine of a Pax Americana: a false theory by which a handful of American-based pseudo-Elites controlled global economic systems and ruled with the military power of the ancient Caesars. This shift was reflected in American politics, wherein we saw a resurgence of pre-Independence dynastic governments such as the Bush and Clinton families; and economic monopolies to which the once-independent Media and Academia were subjugated.
During the 2016 Elections, some Conservatives feared the possibility that Trump would align himself with the Deep State; given his connections to Wall Street and his proclivities for elevating family members to high political positions. Yet we hoped that this was not so.
It could well be that Trump's political inexperience and bad advice is coming into play here. Other presidents have succumbed to this tendency; and if so, it is up to Republican Party activists to correct the Administration.
What many well-meaning Conservatives who support Trump's militarism fail to understand is that there is an enormous difference between domestic and foreign policy in terms of how it is conducted. Draining the Swamp at HUD and cracking down on government corruption is not the same as dropping an atomic bomb on North Korea. Interventions in foreign countries bring about the interests of other countries who, like us, are working in the interests of their own people. Creating power vacuums in countries like Syria or North Korea will inevitably lead to others rushing in to fill that vacuum---many of whom are already in conflict with one another. This came close to happening in Iraq during Obama's tenure when the Iraqi Government seemed on the verge of falling to ISIS, for example. Iran and Turkey were preparing to intervene militarily and both sides had made it very clear that they would not let the other have Iraq to itself. Had such a war erupted, the radicals would have sided with Turkey and the Shia countries with Iran---sucking in the entire region.
Similar scenarios could happen nearly anywhere. As we said before, "geopolitics is a dangerous place to play games." Removing a corrupt bureaucracy in the EPA means simply replacing it and enacting new policies. Regime Change in a sovereign state leads to chaos. Even when it is justified---as in WW1 and WW2---the wartime casualties and post-war chaos shows clearly that such undertakings come with a very high price tag and should never be undertaken unless the sacrifices involved justify it, as St. Augustine said centuries ago.
President Trump's electoral base is eroding nearly as fast as his foreign policy shifts. Conservative pundit Laura Ingraham---once a candidate for Trump's White House Press Secretary---spoke out yesterday against the Administration's treachery in Syria and warned that moves may be underway to remove Reince Priebus and pull some Neocon out of the Swamp to replace him.
Dr. Ron Paul mentioned recently that Trump's criticism of the Tea Party and Freedom Caucus---followed by Steve Bannon's demotion---was a signal that things were shifting. And we're seeing more and more dissent arising from the 'base' over this Syrian fiasco. Granted, many of us were late supporters of Trump, for a variety of reasons. But people with Trump from the beginning---including people like Michael Savage and Anne Coulter who wrote campaign material for him---are backing out. This also includes publications like Breitbart, Zero Hedge, and The Duran.
Even several activists on the Alt-Right: among them Milo Yiannapoulous and Mike Cernovich are questioning the direction in which the Administration is now heading.
James Jatras, a former official in the Reagan Administration and Senate Republican Policy Committee Analyst from 1985-2001, was interviewed recently by Pravda. Jatras currently heads a legal firm representing the Donbas Republics abroad. Jatras explained that the Deep State is now driving policy as follows:
"I think unfortunately that Trump has been boxed in by people within his Administration who do not agree with anything that he said during the campaign. I believe that he is being driven by forces beyond his control and that he has essentially gone over to the State Department side. He thinks that somehow he can weather the storm if he goes along with the agenda. But I think he will discover that he is in a much weaker position than he was before."
Jatras' prediction is coming true---Trump is discovering that Conservative principles actually mean something to the Conservative base. That's what distinguishes us from the Liberals and the RINOs.
And the most dangerous part of this is that to appear strong to the public, Trump's predecessors took to attacking other countries: their use of force being roughly proportional to presidential weakness. The Deep State pulling the strings on these presidents profited off military action and occupation as well; so militarism is always in their interest. We elected Trump to remove these scum from positions of power; not to join their ranks and do their bidding.
Then tonight we hear the news that the Rainbow-Pride Navy has cobbled together a carrier task-force and sent it in the direction of North Korea---like Syria, another non-existent threat to the US. In fact, North Korea is even less of a threat because there are no Jihadists there. What would be the point of striking North Korea? To prop up the Moonies running South Korea just like attacking Assad supports the Wahhabis running Saudi Arabia.
It's not too late for Trump to change course, but another move like Thursday's Syria attack, and this Administration will be squarely under the Neocon thumb. GOP activists need to rally now and rally hard to return things to the right path.
Allied military engineers began repairs on Shayrat Airfield in Syria. Thanks to US military incompetence, most of the runway surface was still undamaged enough to resume service in the fight against the Terrorists. Yesterday, Syrian Chief-of-Staff, General Ali Ayoob visited Shayrat to inspect the damage and to visit the wounded heroes in the field hospital nearby.
Now it somehow never dawned upon either the Corporate Media or Trump's new-found Neocon pals that if a gas-attack really originated at Shayrat, presumably the weapons stockpile was hit in the strike. Would it seem reasonable that just a few hours later, Syria's top general, Allied engineers, and army medics are walking around the place without gas-masks or hazmat suits? Or that there have been no reports of any of the wounded suffering from the symptoms of Sarin gas? Smoke inhalation from the fire, yes: gas wounds, none.
But in the Prozac Nation, the important thing is that action for the sake of action happened. Leaders do things here; they don't simply talk. And they never think.
So, the day after Russia severed military cooperation with the US, the Pentagon launched a second sneak-attack across the Iraqi border. American warplanes struck the village of Huneida, killing at least 15 civilians, including a family of five, according to SANA. But even the deaths of a few more Syrians didn't win everybody over. Six people were arrested at a violent anti-Trump rally in Jacksonville. Rosie O'Donnell claimed on The View that Putin orchestrated the events in Syria to boost Trump's poll numbers. Even the idiot Senator Tim Kaine denounced Trump's actions as a violation of the Constitution---evidently forgetting that he was Hilary's running-mate and Hilary promised to do the same thing. Oops.
While this foolishness was going on this side of the Atlantic, Syria's PM, Imad Khamis met with leaders of the Syrian Veterans' Guild which is organizing a relief project for families effected by the American attack. Khamis praised the veterans and pointed out that American aggression would backfire and strengthen the Syrian people's resolve.
We don't always agree with talk-show host Michael Savage, but his April 7th (Friday) show was an excellent deconstruction of the lying motives behind the Syria attack. The podcast is available on Youtube.
Savage has a background in medical science and debunked the myth forensically that Sarin gas was deployed and proved that it was impossible to determine responsibility in the short time between the gas attack and the missile strike. As Russian experts have demonstrated, the Pentagon plotted this strike long before Thursday night. The Neocon case against Assad falls apart by the hour.
Now, Savage was one of the most aggressive supporters of Trump during the campaign and even wrote books favorable to Trump's agenda. But as he stated today, "The mark of a strong man is that he makes peace, not starts fights he can't finish." And it's true that America can't win a war in Asia; as evidenced by the fact that 3/5 of our Tomahawks missed their targets; and our Rainbow-Pride Navy fled the Levantine Coast in terror as soon as the Russian ships arrived. As a side note, last month Russia launched cruise missiles against ISIS positions and scored 100% on target.
RINOs Lindsay Graham and John McCain have joined Hilary Clinton and the Corporate Media in applauding the attack on Syria, which speaks volumes. The Deep State---apparently led by Rex Tillerson, the character who gave us homosexual Boy Scout leaders---wants war with Russia, China, and Iran because these countries obstruct their criminal enterprises. Syrian President Assad knows this well himself. In an official statement today, Assad said, "Targeting an airbase in a sovereign state by the US is an outrageous act that clarifies conclusively what Syria has alleged from the beginning: that changes of administration in the US regime does not change the policies of the Deep State, which are manifested by targeting nations, subjugating peoples, and attempting to dominate the world."
No wonder the Cultural Elites hate Assad: he understands their psychology and motivations. Likewise former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev: "Soon after his victory, I noted that everything would depend on how soon Trump's election promises would be broken by the existing power-machine. It took only 2 1/2 months."
So why are so many other Conservatives suddenly siding with the Deep State? Because, superficially, Trump looks like a 'leader' by attacking Syria and by getting the Neocons and Liberal Media on his side. This is what many of Trump's GOP opponents actually feared: that Trump was only loosely committed to Conservative principles and would do whatever was expedient to gain approval-ratings. And if this means slaughtering innocent Syrians and throwing Russia under the bus, so be it.
Encouraged by Trump's treachery in Syria, 'sources' within the gay-friendly Pentagon told the Corporate Media outlet Associated Press that potential Russian complicity in the Idlib gas-attack are being 'investigated'. Likewise, the fake-news outlet CNBC reported that 'sources' within the Treasury Department have informed them that Security Steve Mnuchin is considering further economic sanctions against Syria. Suddenly, the Administration is talking to the Corporate Media again.
Incidentally, there were Leftist groups protesting the Syrian missile strike today too. Somehow, though, they didn't get the same media coverage that they usually get.
Is this the shape of things to come, or can the Trump Administration recover from this tragic episode? We don't know: it depends on whatever Trump's motives actually were and at this point, we can't determine that. We can, however, speak out: and we must. If there are those within the Administration committed to change, they will listen and turn things back onto the right path.
In a rare public press conference this morning, General Ali Ayoob the Syrian Chief-of-Staff addressed the Syrian people as follows:
"At 3:42 AM today, the United States of America committed a blatant act of aggression, targeting one of our air bases in the Central Region with a number of missiles, leaving six people martyred and several others injured and causing huge material damage." Subsequent reports have indicated that at least nine civilians---families of Syrian military personnel---were killed. Fortunately for Syria, Trump inherited Obama's Gay-Pride Military and Obama's incompetent CENTCOM commander, General Joseph Votel. Only 2 out of 5 Tomahawk Missiles hit the airbase, the remainder apparently landing harmlessly in the desert. Loss to US taxpayers: $94 million. Loss to Syrian families: incalculable.
That the attack was pre-planned is beyond any dispute. One simply does not move naval destroyers and fire 5 dozen Tomahawks on an hour's notice. The timing of the attack---in the midst of peace talks with President Xi; and the duplicity and deception employed against the Russian military have analysts in both countries drawing parallels between Pearl Harbor and Operation Barbarossa respectively. And the fact that the neo-Fascist governments of Japan, Germany, and Turkey were first in line to praise the attack added fuel to the fire.
Russian President Putin suspended military cooperation treaties with the US and has ordered Anti-Ballistic Missile systems to be deployed in Syria. The Russians have convened an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, to which RINO Nikki 'Ban-the-Confederate-Flag' Hailey responded by stating that further US military action would not depend on the UN. Almost rather reminiscent of Mussolini's speech before the League of Nations during his 1935 Abyssinian War.
And Secretary of State Rex Tillerson---whose previous greatest political achievement was approving homosexual Scoutmasters---met with fellow RINOs Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan who also gleefully expressed hope that further attacks would be forthcoming. Defense contractor stocks soared on Wall Street today and even the anti-Trump Corporate Media pundits are salivating at the prospect of a similar action against North Korea.
General Ayoob, however, warned the Syrian people that the Terrorists were now emboldened to use chemical weapons when they are losing on the battlefield; as they previously did in Ghouta and Aleppo. The Terrorists obtain such weapons from German Chemical plants via Turkey where the Podesta Brothers and the Gephardt Group act as agents for the Turkish Government.
So this weekend, all those still mourning Clinton's loss in 2016 can take heart; the new Administration is carrying out her foreign policy objectives.
We had hoped with the downfall of the Clinton Machine that a new course would take shape in the Middle East, but sadly that hope vanished about two hours ago. After stating the Corporate Media that the US would never act unilaterally in Syria---and while shamelessly hosting a State dinner with Assad's ally, Xi Jinping---Trump took the very action that Hilary Clinton suggested and bombed Syrian patriots engaged in fighting Jihadists.
At this point, we don't how many Syrian heroes were slain in the cowardly, Pearl Harbor-style attack. Governor Talil Barazai of Syria's Homs Province stated that dozens of missiles struck a local airbase and that firefighters and soldiers are continuing to fight the blaze. Yes---Trump accomplished what ISIS could not do.
Pentagon spokesman Capt. Jeff Davis---a lying Obama shill held over from the previous Administration---told the gleeful Corporate Media that the attack avoided civilian casualties and Russian military installations. We shall see about that. At any rate, Russia was badly duped. Putin was probably caught off guard: the pusillanimous Davis noting that "Russia was advised of the attack". Meaning that Russia was probably advised of a US attack; but not informed of the intended target. The Pentagon's duplicity has put Russia in a very bad position: appearing helpless and even complicit while an ally was attacked.
And China as well. Trump ordered this attack just as he and his wife were enjoying a lush banquet for Mr. and Mrs. Xi at Mar-a-Lago. How does this make President Xi look like anything but a chump? Xi had said earlier that the Korean Peninsula would be discussed. Trump has just shown China that he will stab them in the back at any given moment.
How about Iraq? Just last week, Trump met with Iraqi President Abadi and assured him that the US supported the shared goals of the Alliance that Abadi helped put together; and of which Syria was a part. Iraq has sent troops to Syria on more than one occasion. Now, Abadi is made to look like a US puppet in front of his people.
Geopolitics is a dangerous arena to play around in, and Trump may learn this to his sorrow. Out of the seven Allied Powers currently operating in Syria; Trump has just shanked four of them. A fifth---Iran---was the only one of the Allied Powers warning not to trust Trump. Now guess which country is going to benefit politically from this rash action tonight?
The fallout both here and abroad is just beginning.
The fake news that the Syrian Government perpetrated a chemical-weapons attack in Idlib Province has been gaining momentum. There are allegedly talks at the Pentagon this morning about possible military options; although CNN has been the main source of these reports. But there has been a lot of pointless gesturing at the UN from Ambassador Nikki Haley. The Security Council Allies, Russia and China vetoed Haley's sham resolution yesterday; and hopefully Trump will recall and replace her once cooler heads have prevailed.
There are one of two possibilities involved here. First, we must stress what the Corporate Media is hiding: that the Syrian Government itself was the first to announce casualties from chemical agents. The Al-Qaeda terrorists in Idlib had previously deployed these weapons in Aleppo and elsewhere---and the civilians who suffered gas poisoning were being used as human shields against Allied airstrikes. Russian and Iranian intelligence sources believe that a munitions depot bombed by the Syrian Air Force may have contained these weapons, unbeknownst to Allied leaders.
The second possibility is that the weapons were deployed intentionally by Al-Qaeda in the interests of international criminals who wanted a false-flag following Trump's announcement that Syrian regime-change was off the table. The Soros-backed 'White Helmets' and the Al-Qaeda affiliated Syrian Observatory for Human Rights have been the ones cited by the Corporate Media as legitimate sources here. Jordan and Turkey---two countries run by the Moslem Brotherhood---are also egging on the Trump Administration against Assad.
What about US Intelligence? It goes without saying that the 'Deep State' can't be relied upon here---and that includes DNC apparatchiks in the Pentagon, like CENTCOM commander General Joseph Votel; who should have disgraced from command the day Trump was inaugurated.
If Trump bows to DNC/Deep State-instigated pressure it will be a mistake from which his Administration will not recover from easily. This whole incident has Trump being set-up written all over it. Don't think that Trump's opponents couldn't have staged the attack in Syria: they've done it before. Podesta, Gephardt, the Clintons are all deeply involved in criminal enterprises in Syria---another fact that has been repeatedly proven. Qatar and Saudi Arabia---who need a 'regime change' in Syria to complete a petroleum monopoly project in the region have provided troops among the Al-Qaeda forces now operating in Idlib.
At this point, the US cannot afford to go back to the failed Pax Americana policies of the Liberal/Neocon administrations. The US needs to step in and join hands with the Allies and prove to the world that the New Direction that Trump promised is genuine.
