North Carolina's Harnett County School District announced late last week that it had removed Cindy Gordon, principal at Harnett Central High, from office. The public school administrator went berserk during a football game after spotting a student wearing a pro-Trump jersey in the stands.
The young lad in question was wearing a football jersey with the number '45' and the President's name on back. According to witnesses, Gordon flew into a rage and bounded up the stairs screaming as a shocked audience looked on. She began tearing at the young man's shirt, demanding that he remove it or be thrown out of the stadium. The boy elected to leave with security guards, some in the crowds cheering his courageous stand.
The School District announced that Gordon would be replaced by Catherine Jones, who is currently principal of Harnett Elementary. Many of Gordon's online bios have been taken down, but Harnett's website indicates that she was a lifelong academic bureaucrat. In other words, another Swamp Creature whom the public schools are better off without.
The boy's father told local news outlet ABC-11 that "We don't want any kids violated. We don't want to see our kids publicly humiliated over something like this. He [his son] was not behaving disrespectfully or trying to draw attention to himself."
Gordon is not the first public school official to crack up with Trump Derangement Syndrome and, sadly, will not likely be the last. The Left is increasingly becoming more desperate; and consequentially more prone to violent outbursts. Conservatives shouldn't be walking on eggshells; but they do need to be alert and aware more than usual. Leftists are literally going off without warning all across the country.
Understanding TDS is valuable to help in this awareness. A colleague made the astute observation recently that TDS is the final culmination of the philosophy called Identity Politics. Those prone to TDS have swallowed the 'personal is political' mythology to such an extent that their Ego-Identity and Political Identity have become inextricably fused. Thus the real or threatened collapse of their political identity brings their sense of self-worth down with it.
TDS attacks, therefore, are what Freud and his school refer to as Abreaction---the opposite of Catharsis. When people who are in error are faced with the truth, they normally experience Catharsis, which is really insight, and feel free of their problems and begin to change. However, others resist the truth and to use the modern expression double down. This is Abreaction. Christ taught of this principle when He spoke of the soul which, after the demon was cast out, rearranged itself for even more wicked spirits to enter. Trump not only represents truth to such people, he represents what is right and good. Thus their souls, when vastated by political identity collapse fill with guilt, hatred, envy, etc. That combination naturally projects itself on another political entity---in this case Trump---and thus the victim uncontrollably explodes on anything or anyone supporting the President and his policies.
It's an interesting theory and as good an explanation as any. But given that there are still plenty of Cindy Gordon types in the Academic Swamp, we won't have an objective study anytime soon.
Blogger Insanity Bytes had a good article yesterday which was a good corollary to our last article. It also reminded me of why I rarely shop in anything but used bookstores these days. I'm just about finished with the whole Black Samurai series from the 1970's. I recall having read them back in Middle School. In the days before Politically-Correct, Cultural Marxist Postmodernism, a Black author could write a series about a Black hero trained in Japanese Martial Arts and young White guys wanted to grow up and be just like him.
IB's article is geared more towards women's literature; but given the levels of androgyny shoved on us by the Corporate Media, a lot of what she says applies universally. Especially about so-called "strong female characters." Even the Red-Pill Alpha comics we wrote of last time seem quite heavily dependent on female characters who act like bad stereotypes of male ones. I can fully understand how women must actually feel encountering this stuff:
The reason why we find so few women in literature anymore who behave like women do in reality is because the Feminists, Red Pills, and the Rainbow-Pride crowd dominate the mass media. They are all three premised in variations of Marxist ideology which perceives social relationships in terms of conflict. It's all a zero-sum game to them; exploiter vs. exploited; and that victims are really heroes. There is nothing about complimentary relationships anymore, when heroes and heroines used their different respective strengths to effect a positive difference.
The basis of complimentary relationships naturally reside in the inherent differences between men and women. Even though human beings have understood this fact throughout all of known human history, postmodern elites are unhappy with the arrangement and unilaterally decided to secede from Natural Law and from Reality in general. The reason for this is obvious: under traditional social paradigms, Feminists, Red Pills, homosexuals, and other sociopolitical radicals are parts of fringe-groups. Heroism is something they envy and resent because heroes are portrayals of everything they are not.
Naturally these same fringe groups detest traditional femininity: Feminists because they are incapable of attracting strong men; and Red Pills and homos because they are weak men who are incapable of appealing to desirable women. Thus they claim that traditional femininity is weakness. The reality is that traditional femininity is a woman's strength. If a lady wants her hero, she has to earn him.
That doesn't set well with the entitlement-mentality pushed by the postmodernists. Just like these media moguls can snap their fingers and change male characters into women, anybody who wishes to be a hero can become one without earning it. That is appealing to fringe-characters and social outcasts. Normal and moral people only want what they can earn; the others hate the idea of earning anything.
Complimentary relationships do require work. They aren't always without conflict because the natures of men and women are different. Literature is a form of art; and art is only good when it reflects Reality. Art loses its purpose when it attempts to change Reality. It then ceases to be art and becomes propaganda. One of the reasons why postmodern literature is so unappealing and dull is because people recognize instinctively its unreal element. The plots in most fiction and fantasy---standing alone---would be unbelievable. The artistic genius of the author is to make those stories believable; and he does this by giving the characters personalities to which the audience can relate. Modern literature tries to reverse this formula and so they fail to achieve any purpose except to exist within echo-chambers. Portraying the true natures of gender conflict irks those who want it portrayed as a war instead. Most of us just find the reality somewhat humorous. Since we all experience conflicts with the opposite sex, it's refreshing to see that heroes and heroines aren't exempt.
One of the other myths promoted by Feminists is that traditional femininity is only a social construct designed to please men, but nothing could be further from the truth. Women instinctively want to please a man whom they believe is worthy of their love. The old saying that behind every great man is a great woman is true. Women are by nature always hoping this as their ultimate goal. The Red Pills exaggerate this tendency with their ridiculous theory of hypergamy. It's not about constantly seeking the 'bigger better deal" but about getting the best they can and building up that relationship.
Insanity Bytes was totally correct therefore in saying that what the Feminists and their imitators refer to as weakness is really the feminine inclination to fall in love and be devoted to a man and a positive influence upon his life. And that's not weakness at all. That's a motive factor in civilization itself. And when men really think about it, it's what we love about women and why we sacrifice for them.
The train-wreck that is Vox Day's ridiculous 'Alt-Comics' project seems to be reaching a merciful end. The whole campaign has been a disaster from the beginning; and worse still, it's sabotaged the efforts of real Conservatives to reform the industry from within.
Fortunately for real Conservatives, Vox has an astounding history of torpedoing his own projects and getting caught in his own traps. The last couple of months have been especially hard. With Alt-Hero sales plummeting and Vox' inability to capture any market-share whatsoever, he tried some desperate gambits to bail his latest fiasco out of complete oblivion. All of them backfired: from getting a contract with Alex Jones just a week before Jones got himself permanently banned from Youtube; to nearly getting sued by Ethan van Scrivener for blatantly ripping off van Scrivener's Comicsgate hashtag.
So then Vox decided to suck more cash from his disciples via a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. To try and lure Q-Anon's into his cult, he offered a six-volume series featuring Q and authored by long washed-up comics industry has-been, Chuck Dixon. Vox already had to recall about 200 issues (probably his entire subscription base) of the first installment because one of his 'dream team' editors forgot to include the dialogue panels before they were mailed out.
Things went from bad to worse this week after Vox---who constantly tells his followers to avoid MSM interviews---agreed to be interviewed by Bleeding Cool. To summarize, he basically shot his big mouth off and said things resulting in getting himself banned by Indiegogo. IGG shut down Vox' campaign and refunded all of his disciples' donations---amounting to over $100,000 the last time I checked.
Naturally, Vox is blaming everyone but himself for this latest setback. After alienating everyone who is working for genuine reform against the Leftist agenda in contemporary comics, he's howling with good ol' Gamma Rage that none of the reformers recognize his great genius and prefer not to work with him.
The fact is that Alt-Hero wasn't---and never did---promote any of the cultural or traditional values that we would like returned to the comics medium. In Alt-Hero 3, for example, the "heroes" responded to the imprisonment of Rebel Girl's parents---not by daring rescues nor by brilliant stratagems: but by kidnapping the parents of their enemies.
What a wonderful message for American youth.
As for the Q Anon series: well, it's not much better. The first person whom I thought of when seeing this for the first time was the Pizzagate Shooter.

As much as I've criticized the Q Anon movement, I actually felt sorry for them after reading this. At least Q's followers though had sense enough not to fall for Vox' ploys, which is more than one can say for Vox' Red Pills.
It will be interesting to see whether Vox throws up the sponge on this fiasco or not.
A week ago, we ran article soliciting the public's help in identifying a young woman who was found murdered in cold blood outside of Huntsville, Texas on All Saints' Day, 1980. To summarize the story briefly: our unidentified Sister was believed to have been 14-16 years old and from a Middle-Class background. She had a friend or relative in Huntsville Prison. She was probably from in or around Corpus Christi. Distinguishing features were a scar near her right eye and on her right elbow. She may have been left-handed. She's known currently only as 'Walker County Jane Doe.'
After the last article, some commentary came in mostly offering support and offering a theory or two. But one reader sent us a screenshot of an interesting conversation from Facebook roughly two years ago. The context of this discussion was whether or not WCJD possibly could have been in a Girls' Home. The subject of a now-defunct home called Rebekah House came up; and someone commented as follows:
For privacy reasons, we redacted the names here. However, our research seems to indicate that the woman posting this is indeed a real person and was in fact an alumni of Rebekah House.
Rebekah House was located in Corpus Christi and was affiliated with the Independent Baptist denomination. I mentioned at IB's blog that I'm about the same age and from the same general area as WCJD---and what I remember of Rebekah House was that it was one of those kinds of places where frustrated mothers threatened to send their daughters when they were angry. It was strict, although most of the horror stories about it are probably urban legends directed against the pastor who founded it. That minister, whose name was Lester Roloff, was somewhat like the Doug Wilson of the 1980's: controversial, charismatic, and a magnet for politically-motivated enemies.
Rebekah House had a reputation for straightening out even the most rebellious of young women. Not all of the young ladies at Rebekah however were bad girls or at-risk youth. A few were members of the church who attended as part of their education. A few others were orphans or wards of the state. WCJD was probably either connected to the church or referred to foster care. If she'd had a juvenile record, police could have identified her by fingerprints. She must have been removed by family or legal guardians before she became a runaway. Rebekah House always reported runaways; and no reports from that time or place match WCJD.
We can't say for sure that this is a positive lead yet; but it's credible enough to be considered. If any women reading were in Rebekah House circa 1978-1980 and this girl looks familiar, let us know. Also, there is the possibility that she was from a family connected with Reverend Roloff's church; so if any members of the Independent Baptist denomination remembers someone like her who went missing: again get in touch. It's been awhile since we've had a good swamp-draining story, but the police have bagged another really bad one. In the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), of all places too.
Maryland authorities reported that one David Soroka---a 53 year-old NOAA meteorologist---was jailed after homosexually abusing a 13 year-old boy whom he was supposedly 'mentoring'. This unfortunate lad was kept in what Soroka himself referred to as a 'Room of Pain'. It's hardly necessary to relate here the disgusting things that happened to this unfortunate lad. But does have to wonder how many others might have been victims of this scumbag.
See, Soroka was hired in 1994 under the Clinton Administration's initiative to create 'diversity' by bringing more homosexuals into the government. And, of course, no co-worker would dare air his suspicions under threat of 'homophobia'. Soroka was paid $140,000 per year.
As for the boy, he was allowed to 'mentored' by his family. Likewise, they believed the PC propaganda that giving homosexuals access to young children is progressive and enlightened. According to the boy's testimony, Soroka would pick him up after school; take him to dinner, and off to his house for what he called 'scheduled playtime'. Imagine: if this had involved a 13 year-old girl does anyone suppose Soroka wouldn't have been put under scrutiny? But our society looks the other way when LGBTQ's are on the prowl.
Fortunately, our Government hasn't sunk to the point yet where outright paedophilia is considered a cultural expression for a protected class. But Soroka is representative of the kinds of creatures who formed the backbone of the Deep State for the last 30 years. This is the type of government employee that the DNC would eagerly return to power.
We can't let that happen. The swamp needs draining until the rest of the Sorokas are gone.
Edwin Benson, who writes for various Catholic websites, has a good article on the consequences of the New York City aldermen's absurd decision to allow citizens of the Big Apple to opt of choosing a gender on their birth certificates. One of the blowhards who authored this legislation opined that: "Gender is a spectrum for many folks, and it's not a fixed thing." Reality is also a 'spectrum for many folks'---most of whom are in mental hospitals.
The sheer insanity of this resolution is not deterring the Whacko Left Wing, who are proposing even more extreme legislation elsewhere. Naturally the legislatures on the Pacific Coast are leading the charge. Benson quotes Washington State's perspective on gender, and it's worth reproducing here:
"The language of the Washington State directive is eye-popping, 'a gender that is not exclusively male or female, including, but not limited to, intersex, agender, amalgagender, androgynous, bigender, demigender, female-to-male, genderfluid, genderqueer, male-to-female, neutrois, nonbinary, pangender, third sex, transgender, transsexual, Two Spirit, and unspecified.'”
What any of this means is anybody's guess. Washington is perfect example of what happens when you have a government run by drug addicts and sexual perverts.
The actual reality here is that one can't change one's gender simply by wishing it away and coining new terms. But even more importantly, we can't remove a linchpin of Civilization and expect that there will be no consequences. The Radical Left in Academia long ago declared that 'God is dead'. But religion underpins the entire philosophical base of Civilization, including things like Ethics and the Rule of Law. Without a religious orientation, it logically follows that cultural ethics and the laws upon which they are based are voided. What becomes the basis of these things end up being dictated by pop-culture or by authoritarian government.
The same Leftists then told us that Civilization itself was a relative concept; that our culture was the product of an oppressive 'Patriarchy' produced by dead white males who had no ideals that postmoderns need respect. This includes ideals like liberty, human rights, self-government, world peace, free trade, etc. Throw away our ideals and revile the men who promoted them, and you get the opposite.
Eliminating gender has the same antisocial consequences. In this case, it not only denies philosophy and sociology but actually negates science. Biology and Psychology---and by extension, medicine and education are built on premises of gender differences and appropriate social roles for each. Doctors and psychiatrists can no longer treat sexual perversion no matter how dysfunctional a person might be from engaging in such practices. Or, regardless of what damage they may do to society. Likewise, it's entirely impossible to teach 'gender neutrality' to children independently of exposing them to sexuality long before their minds can analyse these things rationally. It's basically a form of grooming children for paedophiles with full legal cover to do so.
Without the stability of a family and gender-confusion sown in young minds, they will grow eventually into severe neurotics. But the consequences don't stop there. As Benson points out, every facet of society premised on gender differences will come to be challenged. This kind of chaos is social suicide---and it's even worse than the divorce-ridden and dysfunctional families which are far too common in America. At least in the latter cases, the families are still products of the ideal, even though they fall radically short of it. Children growing up in these types of home often realize the difference and strive to do better. In a gender-neutral culture there is no ideal upon which to aspire.
These types of laws need to be slapped down; and hopefully with the Trump Administration reorganizing the Courts with men who respect law and tradition, things will change, Trump has already put two on the US Supreme Court as well as 69 lower-court judges. The opportunity to turn the tide is there.
As predicted, all of the phony media ploys against Brett Kavanaugh turned out to be a tempest in a teapot. Some Leftist websites are talking impeachment already. Which has about as much chance of happening as impeaching Trump.
One of the most satisfying things was watching briefly the reactions of various pundits in the Corporate Media. Instead of their usual hysterics, they seemed completely deflated. This was their most humiliating defeat since November 2016, and the Midterm Elections aren't looking quite as bright for them as they'd hoped.
Out in the streets, it was different. Leftists were really going berserk: especially inside the DC Beltway, but in big cities and on university campuses in general.
Hundreds of these kooks are in the DC Jail after literally storming the barricades and trying to break into the US Capitol to disrupt the Confirmation.
What was especially interesting was reading some of the commentary on social media. It is unbelievably crazy.
All of this is fairly predictable behavior from these nutcases, but Conservatives need to be especially vigilant right now for their own personal safety. Just as we're told that "Satan goes about like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour," so these radicals are going to be prowling around, ready to expend their rage on anybody whom they imagine even remotely resembles a Trump supporter.
And to Judge Kavanaugh: Congratulations. You earned it, Brother.
