As if we needed any further proof of American Exceptionalism in action as we begin the New Year, the main library in Boulder, Colorado announced that they will suspending service for the foreseeable future. The reason? Building inspectors stated that “higher than acceptable methamphetamine levels were found in a restroom air duct.” One has to wonder how they will get along without Drag Queen Story Hours in the meantime: by the levels of Meth in the air ducts does seem to account for mental state of those bringing their children to such events.
Anyone living near even a fairly large city of course understands that libraries are essentially nothing but bum jungles these days: like city parks they don't fulfill much of a purpose to the community any longer other than to harbor drug pushers, homeless bums, and perverts. Actually, the root of the problem is that this behavior is tolerated at all, but there's little to no initiative in America to solve any of these fundamental problems. The Wall Street Elites and their puppet governments actually benefit from poverty, crime, and chaos, as we've shown here. The American public in general doesn't want to face the reality that we are living in a failed State.
As we enter 2023, let us consider where we stand in year we just left. Recently, we've seen bad weather conditions. Parts of I-99 in California are closed because of lack of flood control, In Buffalo, dozens of people died because there were no snowplows available. A winter storm can leave hundreds of thousands without power or water for weeks. Hurricanes hit areas that are never rebuilt. In most major cities, looting, carjacking, robberies are occurring with no police interference. Our failing infrastructure is something we've been writing about here since the site was started, and little to nothing has been done. The list could go on: out-of-control price inflation, the rising healthcare effects from the Loyalty Vaxx, a broken Legal System, widespread voter fraud, a servile Media, a corrupt Academia, rising overdose deaths---everywhere we look around us we see failure, degeneracy, and decay; just as planned by those who profit off the damage.
It's not as if these problems can't be solved, the issue is that they won't be solved. There are too many people invested in the status quo, both financially and emotionally. What we're experiencing is not a 'crash' or a 'collapse' but a controlled demolition. The Oligarchy wants the destruction of the Free Market, Traditional Families, the Rule of Law, and religious faith so that they can step into the vacuum and impose their own will as national salvation. It's been done before throughout history.
In fact, we saw in 2020 a foretaste of how Americans will behave in an atmosphere of mass-hysteria. They've shown then and since that at least half will have little reluctance to turn on their neighbors or even family at whatever 'emergency' our overlords have ginned up. The 'war mentality' that's been sown in the American psyche since Bush 41 unveiled the New World Order. Aside from the endless literal wars against so-called 'enemies', Americans have been bombarded with drug wars, gender wars, tobacco wars, wars on terrorism, wars on climate, wars on drunk driving, wars on extremism, race wars, etc: liberally punctuated with outbursts of Russophobia, Sinophobia, paedohysteria, fears of immigrant 'invasions' and 'health emergencies.'
All of these were in reality Wars on Freedom, Civilization, and Sanity; and we've managed to raise a whole generation in an atmosphere of Paranoia. Nobody under the age of 35 or so can remember an America that was relatively free, when people actually had rights and success was something that actually had to be achieved through merit. There actually was a time when city streets were clean and safe; where a man working a 40-hour week earned enough to support a family and own a home. 2020 was a test-run of the Strategy of Tension's effects and what we learned was that Americans had developed a strong fear of freedom which social theorists warned for decades would happen.
I'm not really expecting 2023 to be much different overall than 2021 or 2022 was: the Oligarchy is going to continue consolidating its power, more of our liberties will be lost, the cost of merely living will continue to become more expensive and more rigid, and the majority will go on in blissful ignorance.
In the bigger picture of things, there is little that those of us who choose not to capitulate can do. Thus we need to beware of Controlled Opposition and opportunistic crooks who inevitably appear during times of crisis. What we can do is to strengthen our own communities; build strong networks and above all understand that we are part of a counter-culture now. Don't fall into the trap those 'Red Wave' yahoos went for in 2022 and imagine that political intrigues or some great awakening is going to save us at the last minute. This is the slow ascent of Liberty. After decades of neglect, it's not coming back overnight.
