SEX IN THE SURVEILLANCE STATE

June mercifully ended this week upon a few positive notes. In an increasingly rare act of actual justice, an 83 year-old man who saw his life's work and all the many good works he'd done destroyed in a ritual sacrifice wrongful conviction was released from prison where he'd languished for 2 1/2 years after a Court actually overturned a clearly politically-motivated sentencing.

Cosby fell victim to a witch-hunt at a time when 'sexual allegations' against Donald Trump and Brett Kavanaugh had failed to stick; and the Elites were desperate for a high-profile personality whom they could eviscerate to support their "all men are rapists" and "the personal is political" narratives. Hollywood gave them Cosby since he had a high reputation which could be drug through the mud and, at his age, who was no longer of any economic use to them as an entertainer. While I doubt that the Left will allow Cosby a moment's peace between now and the grave, the trial did serve it's purpose: a reminder to men everywhere that they can come for you anytime or anywhere for anything that you may or may not have done at some point in your past.

Contrary to how the Media portrays the United States in the year 2021, our culture is one of the most sexually repressed in the world, if not in all of human history. American hubris sneers at the Middle East; but even though the Islamic countries have a lot of social taboos, there's no shame attached to sexuality when done within the perimeters of their customs. America, in contrast, is a nation of peeping-toms, frigid women and low-testosterone men: all of whom live in absolute terror of a committed relationship. This is also the reason why divorces and abortions are so common today, as is our national fascination with the homosexual lifestyle. The only acceptable forms of sexual expression today are those without commitment and even then done out in the open where Society can gawk at it and express it's approval of its appropriateness.

It's hard for younger to relate to this; but within my lifetime Americans formerly held two very rigid social beliefs. One was that marriage was widely considered the apex of human maturity. A person really became a full-fledged man or woman when they committed to marriage and a family. The second was the maxim that "what happens in the bedroom stays in the bedroom." That maxim applied to both married and extramarital relations. True, there was always a bit of gossip floating around; and young men especially liked inventing tall-tales in the locker-room; but generally whatever happened behind closed doors was nobody else's business.

The Whacko Left Wing has a reflexive tendency to hate whatever they envy others for having, and it wasn't long before they set about "deconstructing" the traditional family, gender roles, etc. The Right responded as they always do: by trying to "own the Libtards" by outdoing them. Eventually, our culture slid down a rabbit-hole of social division where Political Correctness defines "acceptable" sexuality more than anything else. Among the Left, heterosexual affairs between powerful men and female employees is an act of sheer horror (unless you're Bill Clinton). Among the Right, sexual dysphoria is seen as perversion and degeneracy (unless you're Bruce Jenner). This has led our culture to the absurd point where elementary school-boys can be punished as 'sexual predators' for flirting; and can also be punished for disliking Drag Queen Story Hours. 80 year-old men can be dragged off to prison for some indiscretion of decades ago, while known paederasts get city children's parks named after them.

Anti-sexuality also serves the interests of the Ruling Elite, who want Eugenics programs population control. Organizations like the World Economic Forum envision a world where we 'inferiors' simply function like drones in a beehive, or other like neutered livestock, whose value for work is increased with diminished sexuality. In the Great Reset, the Elites (and maybe a few with acceptable social credit scores) will be allowed the privilege of procreation. Among the masses, they encourage the homosexual agenda as well as access to abortion and extensive State regulation of childcare. A world where you'll own nothing and you'll be happy, isn't exactly an environment conducive to strong parental rights.

But try and explain any of this to the average Ameroboob, and you'll likely get either a blank stare or lectures or how much more 'liberated' people are without families tying them down. Most Americans today see interpersonal relationships in terms of power plays and getting from them whatever they can from it for their own advantage. Today, we don't think of sexuality in other terms besides abuse and exploitation. As proof of this, consider that, in modern English, every vulgar term for the human sexual act is also a synonym for being cheated or used. Concepts like Co-dependency and Complimentarian are considered dangerous.

Americans have been so thoroughly programmed with anti-sexuality that they've lost any sense of proportion in reacting to sexual indiscretions, as the Cosby Case showed. Behaving like a cad is not rape. Cheating on one's spouse may be grounds for divorce, but not for losing one's job. Legal minors do not have their lives ruined or their innocence lost (whatever that means) by sexual experimentation. There really are rapists, human traffickers, sexual exploiters, and perverts who ought to be locked up; but they aren't the same kinds of people as those who make mistakes, bad choices, or simply succumb to a temptation that they later regret. This goes for the 'victims' in these melodramas as well. People make mistakes by falling for manipulators too, that doesn't make them a permanently-traumatized fatality. It's called growing up and learning from experience. The world isn't perfect, and bad things happen as well as good ones; and our legal system wasn't designed to be a daytime soap-opera with vicarious softcore porn for those voyeurs too righteous to indulge in the real thing.

In other words, we need (collectively) to start acting like grownups, treating the opposite sex like human beings, assume some responsibility for ourselves, and start thinking for ourselves again. Otherwise, we haven't much room for complaining when the State intervenes and decides to do our thinking for us.

  1. Didn't pay much attention to the Cosby trial, but anything the news media applauds is suspect.

Good post! Thoughtful. I can see why insanitybytes22 liked it.

We live in a Pagan culture. When people begin to think like pagans, they start to think the world revolves around them. Once we begin to think that way, we can believe lots of stupid things.
